This is a good, very swinging and funky, Jaco with some surprising ideas, nice Drumming from Richie Morales. Very compatible players. Jaco using octave box getting that deep grumbling sound. Teen Town, Barry Finnerty's solo on Giant Steps at the end, clean alternate picking . Compare to horrible jam, Jaco with Jimmy Page
I think Stern did hard drugs at a point? Jaco? Stern is likely 30 years old here. It’s selfish and cold, but I would be interested in seeing what they played like smacked out. I am getting a little crazy nostalgic on the power of this video. This video is such a find, I am all crazy - wondering if Charley Parker was in the crowd. EZ tiger it was just the 80s. This thing is quite the find.
Stern mentioned in a 2009 interview he had been partying a lot during this period. Who knows how gone they were in this clip, and with musicians of this caliber, I wonder what difference would it really make?
man, this is gold, pure gold !! jaco having fun with his mates.. beautiful ❤
Thank for upload this marvelous improvisation : when 3 monsters make a big jam

Sorry i just see you note the playlist
I think Jaco&Mike Stern are very high.😂
hey, that’s fat times on guitar 😊
39 years later Stern plays the exact same stuff. It is beyond me how this guy has had such a succesful career.
Others are looking for this. Mike found it.
It's called love and emotion
It definitely seems “beyond” you. Why bother chiming in with your shitty, negative comments? The guy played with Miles for cryin’ out loud.
Wrong
He's been successful because he's true to himself, doesn't sound like anyone else, and plays his ass off.
Sorry-I got bored.
