Soooo glad I didn't order one of these. The tiny little exposed brake wires right from the get go was a ??? for me, but then the speakers that play music only for the batteries to listen to...? I'm out. Pretty much all EUCs are wonky in some way, but this one looks like it was made in 15 minutes, with spare parts. Thanks for this teardown.
Wrong Way no more Begode reviews, eevees no more badly engineered wheels. I think this is a very good thing! It will push the manufacturing forwards to a place we all want and need.
These videos are great. Its a little crazy that Begode thinks they can clone the Sherman S in a few months when Veteran was working on it for much longer... that is impossible to do without a major sacrifice to quality.

And then explaining in detail why you don’t carry certain wheels. This approach will be a strong incentive for manufacturers to design and build responsibly.

Yea I think I'm gonna let the suspension market mature for a year and then make my choice. My og Sherman will keep me happy lol I'd love to see Veteran drop a 126v/134volt Sherman S next year....
@kmg501 yeah more moving parts to break and more to take apart to change the tire. Suspension is always nice. Just better to invest in the 2nd or 3rd generation of a suspension wheel. They literally come out with "V2, V3, and Pro" versions of wheels months after the V1 released. The first get the worst when it comes to technology. I'm not saying V11 isn't a good wheel. It's just simply an "offroad" wheel with a street tire and a 30mph top speed. It needs a nice knobby and jump pads. If I go suspension wheel, I'll probably get a V11 since it's also finally come down in price.

what I saw - typical Begode cable mess but overall construction is ok, after some simple watherproofing definitelly not terrible euc. Batch 2 or 3 will be more refined, better cable management, just like Master was. For now its only first prototype, like most chinese wheels. Only batch 2-3 will be the final product. Interresting solution with suspension rollers, we will see how it works after 1kkm. I still think its worth to buy wheel, just not now. Wait for later batches, which fix some obvious bugs.
Yes, or either DON'T OPEN THE BOX WHEN YOU GET IT. Tell the company you wanna swap it or return it for a refund. At the WORST they may charge a restocking fee and make you pay return shipping.
I have heard numerous people complain about the cost of the Inmotion V13. Well here is why that cost is what it is. You are paying to not have a very poorly designed and constructed wheel like this typical Gotway/Begode offering.
Thank you for making this video. Shoddy workmanship should always be called out. I wouldn't buy the wheel the way it is now but I sincerely hope they address these issues on later builds a year or two down the road.
Awesome tear down, thanks for posting. It seems to get the edge over Veteran they just rushed this whole design to market. The 100v charge port, just can’t phantom how their CEO would just allow it to proceed. Meanwhile Veteran hopefully making up for their previous disaster of a wheel, Abrams, with their potentially classic trusty Sherman S.
I might be getting ahead of myself but I think it's safe to crown the SS as a modern classic already. The thing is magic and our customers who got the first batch have been majorly impressed too, it seems :)

Yeah, nothing wrong with the copper. It’s spread around a larger diameter so just because it’s not as thick as the V13, doesn’t mean it’s not as powerful.
Eevee’s this is such a great video. This teardown needed to happen. See, when you watch youtuber @DawnChampion ‘s ride footage of the Commander Pro you learn and see that the CP is the most PERFECTLY tuned EUC. I say perfectly tuned because that tiny reviewer was able to hit 40mph without any effort; NO leaning. That’s what we want in EVERY EUC. We want this, we NEED this. Maybe Extreme Bull felt that their badass riding and tuning is all they needed to do. Anyhow it is my hope that this video TRASHING the build / construction of the CP will motivate Extreme Bull to fix all of what is wrong with such an amazing well tuned machine. Honestly I want a wheel with that tuning. I want a wheel that just goes with zero effort and no “Kuji Lean”.
This is just not acceptable anymore with these companies, they have to be held accountable, people shouldn't be paying 4000 and over that for wheels that are built like this
It’s a shame too…this wheel had the potential of being the lightest weighing, smallest form factor, suspension big battery 134v wheel available and yet other than the suspension part, it’s just so poorly thought out. There’s still a market for something like this, but not a wheel simply cobbled together from parts lying around. Yikes.

Unfortunate not carrying commander pro., any maintenance repair would be time consuming given its build quality. Having ridden one, it is a very comfortable ride very similar to s18

1000$ cheaper then sherman s and 300$ less then ex30 hard to sell knowing you will have to fix stuff under warranty😏 they really should have use the charge port from the master that would already be better😔
WrongWay not reviewing Begode wheels anymore and y'all are gonna eventually stop carrying their wheels. Begode needs to get with the times and match the innovations all the other manufacturers are making with safety, smart BMS, waterproofing, and overall build quality.
Begode's CEO has said they are going to take more time with each wheel before releasing going forward. Hopefully this trend continues. Quality over quantity!

It's hard to ignore the Eevee's and WrongWay recent announcement and their timing. Is the Commander Pro the fall guy to push the narrative that both Eevee's and WrongWay have espressed regarding expected manufacturing quality? Maybe. Is the Commander Pro as bad as this video is making it sound? Probably not. You see my point here. I agree that the quality needs to come up... from ALL manufacturers. Inmotion, for some reason can't figure out they need to use strong bolts... the V12 and V13 have that issue. I'm not super thrilled with the build quality of the Sherman-S either. KingSong has had motor issues, slider issues, other issues. Everyone that rides Begode, know they ride the best. I have the Sherman Max and enjoy it. I have the v12 ht and enjoy it, but have had some weird issues. I have a Begode RS HS, that had a failed BMS, but now rides out nicely. In my opinion, the wires could be better organized on the Commander Pro. The holes where they pass through to the body could be better shielded or blocked from water and dirt ingress, but I don't think these issued make it a terrible wheel.
The timing is a complete coincidence. We haven't actually spoken with Adam for a while (no reason). When we teardown an EUC, we try and find anything that we can point out that could pose an issue. Sometimes we miss things, sometimes some things might not actually be a concern. However, we found more issues than any other wheel that we've previously tore down with the Commander Pro. Some people are quite offended by it but you know who isn't? Extreme Bull. They watched the video and are making changes accordingly.
Respect for telling the truth. With companies like InMotion refusing to give reviewers (Chooch) a wheel because he tells the truth, it's good to see that the YT EUC community continues to post honest and quality content. Also, appreciate the low "talking heads" on this video. :)
Most definitely. I do think the Commander Pro brace was a smart idea and should probably be implemented on the Sherman-S but the Sherman S is objectively built better overall.
I watched the whole video. Tons of bias here. It's even in the title.... lots of nit-picking of tiny things. We already knew alot was added last second. They literally asked us if we wanted more power before releasing it. They didn't have time to redesign the whole wheel. Did that make it a bad wheel? No. We bitched about the V13 tiny battery as soon as it was announced. They made no changes. It's got good fit and finish- and a tiny ass battery. Then the crying about messy wiring. Go ask an electrician to see ANY wiring box in any electric item on earth. Including the buildings we live in. But those buildings still pass inspection, and work fine. And then the water collection up top. Which isn't even a thing to most riders.... if a plastic bag is on top, all that crying goes away. Just like the plastic we have to put on the Sherm/Shermax that you all know and love. Overall, informative-but biased, and nit-picky. I'm no fanboy of any wheel- but i chose to think for myself- not to be led by the noise rings (exteme bull pun)on what I'm supposed to think. 🤨
Albert and Doug are biased toward Begode, if anything. They are massive Begode fans. We try and pick apart everything we can think of doing these tear-downs. Albert and I disagree on a variety of things so no, this video is not biased. We are just pointing out the flaws.. like we did with the Sherman S teardown. We will be posting our EX30 teardown in a few days and you'll see that it's much better!
Sort of agree with this...lots of nit-picking of tiny things. Most of the issues seem fixable. Truely annoying on any new wheel sure but the basis of a good (great?) wheel is there. The vast majority of the comments here slam EB but there is no unexplained acceleration (V12HT Chooch & Wrongway) or no unfixable 20% less battery but 10kg more weight V13 with unimprovable mediocre suspension to boot. Lukas sounds like he has container loads of Sherman Ss he has to move. It is only just out but already I read about rider crashing his new wheel when feet slipped off pedals on braking, dealer warning of several Ss having cut-outs in light rain and Wrongways S needing new bearings. Makes CP spagetti wiring seem irrelevant and as for the charge ports many riders considering this wheel already have a 140V/15A (Roger charger) which works just fine with the CP.
@user-jw7qp3qe3o you naming tings on the Sherman-S that were IMMEDIATELY FIXED such as the bearings. Leaperkim changed bearing companies. Pedals, they're working on new pedals as we speak. And I've seen no issues at all with the Sherman-S cutting out. Post that video. Leaperkim's quality is way better than Extreme Bull. So stop it.

The copper coils actually looked great to me. The rest is for way more dry and sunny biomes..
Yeah, nothing wrong with the copper. It’s spread around a larger diameter so just because it’s not as thick as the V13, doesn’t mean it’s not as powerful.

Eevee’s this is such a great video. This teardown needed to happen. See, when you watch youtuber @DawnChampion ‘s ride footage of the Commander Pro you learn and see that the CP is the most PERFECTLY tuned EUC. I say perfectly tuned because that tiny reviewer was able to hit 40mph without any effort; NO leaning. That’s what we want in EVERY EUC. We want this, we NEED this.
Maybe Extreme Bull felt that their badass riding and tuning is all they needed to do.
Anyhow it is my hope that this video TRASHING the build / construction of the CP will motivate Extreme Bull to fix all of what is wrong with such an amazing well tuned machine. Honestly I want a wheel with that tuning. I want a wheel that just goes with zero effort and no “Kuji Lean”.
This is just not acceptable anymore with these companies, they have to be held accountable, people shouldn't be paying 4000 and over that for wheels that are built like this

It’s a shame too…this wheel had the potential of being the lightest weighing, smallest form factor, suspension big battery 134v wheel available and yet other than the suspension part, it’s just so poorly thought out. There’s still a market for something like this, but not a wheel simply cobbled together from parts lying around. Yikes.

Unfortunate not carrying commander pro., any maintenance repair would be time consuming given its build quality. Having ridden one, it is a very comfortable ride very similar to s18

When I could get that from another manufacturer, I'll gladly buy it. I had high hopes for the Sherman S but I won't buy a 100v wheel. After riding my Master I feel everything else is slow lol
Thanks for this tear down video. It shows how haphazard and careless Begode is in their planning of this Commander Pro. I hope Begode is listening and will take note that either they change their ways or else they will Begone.

WrongWay not reviewing Begode wheels anymore and y'all are gonna eventually stop carrying their wheels. Begode needs to get with the times and match the innovations all the other manufacturers are making with safety, smart BMS, waterproofing, and overall build quality.
Begode's CEO has said they are going to take more time with each wheel before releasing going forward. Hopefully this trend continues. Quality over quantity!

It's hard to ignore the Eevee's and WrongWay recent announcement and their timing. Is the Commander Pro the fall guy to push the narrative that both Eevee's and WrongWay have espressed regarding expected manufacturing quality? Maybe. Is the Commander Pro as bad as this video is making it sound? Probably not. You see my point here. I agree that the quality needs to come up... from ALL manufacturers. Inmotion, for some reason can't figure out they need to use strong bolts... the V12 and V13 have that issue. I'm not super thrilled with the build quality of the Sherman-S either. KingSong has had motor issues, slider issues, other issues. Everyone that rides Begode, know they ride the best. I have the Sherman Max and enjoy it. I have the v12 ht and enjoy it, but have had some weird issues. I have a Begode RS HS, that had a failed BMS, but now rides out nicely. In my opinion, the wires could be better organized on the Commander Pro. The holes where they pass through to the body could be better shielded or blocked from water and dirt ingress, but I don't think these issued make it a terrible wheel.
The timing is a complete coincidence. We haven't actually spoken with Adam for a while (no reason). When we teardown an EUC, we try and find anything that we can point out that could pose an issue. Sometimes we miss things, sometimes some things might not actually be a concern. However, we found more issues than any other wheel that we've previously tore down with the Commander Pro. Some people are quite offended by it but you know who isn't? Extreme Bull. They watched the video and are making changes accordingly.

Most definitely. I do think the Commander Pro brace was a smart idea and should probably be implemented on the Sherman-S but the Sherman S is objectively built better overall.

I watched the whole video. Tons of bias here. It's even in the title.... lots of nit-picking of tiny things.
We already knew alot was added last second. They literally asked us if we wanted more power before releasing it. They didn't have time to redesign the whole wheel. Did that make it a bad wheel? No.
We bitched about the V13 tiny battery as soon as it was announced. They made no changes. It's got good fit and finish- and a tiny ass battery.
Then the crying about messy wiring. Go ask an electrician to see ANY wiring box in any electric item on earth. Including the buildings we live in. But those buildings still pass inspection, and work fine.
And then the water collection up top. Which isn't even a thing to most riders.... if a plastic bag is on top, all that crying goes away. Just like the plastic we have to put on the Sherm/Shermax that you all know and love.
Overall, informative-but biased, and nit-picky. I'm no fanboy of any wheel- but i chose to think for myself- not to be led by the noise rings (exteme bull pun)on what I'm supposed to think. 🤨
Albert and Doug are biased toward Begode, if anything. They are massive Begode fans. We try and pick apart everything we can think of doing these tear-downs. Albert and I disagree on a variety of things so no, this video is not biased. We are just pointing out the flaws.. like we did with the Sherman S teardown. We will be posting our EX30 teardown in a few days and you'll see that it's much better!

Sort of agree with this...lots of nit-picking of tiny things. Most of the issues seem fixable. Truely annoying on any new wheel sure but the basis of a good (great?) wheel is there. The vast majority of the comments here slam EB but there is no unexplained acceleration (V12HT Chooch & Wrongway) or no unfixable 20% less battery but 10kg more weight V13 with unimprovable mediocre suspension to boot. Lukas sounds like he has container loads of Sherman Ss he has to move. It is only just out but already I read about rider crashing his new wheel when feet slipped off pedals on braking, dealer warning of several Ss having cut-outs in light rain and Wrongways S needing new bearings. Makes CP spagetti wiring seem irrelevant and as for the charge ports many riders considering this wheel already have a 140V/15A (Roger charger) which works just fine with the CP.
@user-jw7qp3qe3o you naming tings on the Sherman-S that were IMMEDIATELY FIXED such as the bearings. Leaperkim changed bearing companies. Pedals, they're working on new pedals as we speak. And I've seen no issues at all with the Sherman-S cutting out. Post that video. Leaperkim's quality is way better than Extreme Bull. So stop it.
