love the new recipe for your bread i will certainly be doing this. i just want to say thankyou very very much for your book which i received yesterday, it is a great book for everyday use. i just used your method for cooking my roast pork joint and i must say its come out perfectly, crispy crackling as well. cant wait to have the rest of the dinner. thankyou so much for taking the time , and all the stress to turn the book out, it a marvel. xx
Ooh I can almost smell your bread. I’ll definitely be doing that! It looks wonderful 😋 I might add some wholemeal flour on a future loaf bake too. ( love the book )
@@michaelkennedy5117 I can definitely try a whole meal loaf. I have tried making a starter and sourdough a few times and in all honesty gave up! The results just weren’t good enough and I ran out of patience. I think I’m just super busy at the moment so to keep repeating recipes becomes quite frustrating. I only like to publish recipes im happy with. It’s been the same with cinnamon buns, tried twice now and still not 100%!!!
Hi Sussanah, thank you, I enjoy your videos and have tried many of your recipes which are to the point, and with no unnecessary waffle! I've been making bread 2x a week using the crisp basket (Ninja cookbook recipe) which is fine but results in a round loaf which in turn gives unequal slices. I like the look of this more regular shaped version and will try (now that I have a bread tin that fits), but have 1 question, can the sugar be omitted or do you think it is essential?
@@boerwolf2326 I’m not professional but I think it changes the moisture level in the bread (I may be wrong but that’s my understanding). I think you could remove it without too much issue. It will be worth a try
Hi Susanna please can you tell how I’d be able to make this in my Ninja foodi (the one before yours with the separate lid). It does have the steam facility but only steam and not steam bake? xx
@@heathertoms4188Hi Heather, I guess you could just bake the loaf. The result will be a little different without the steam but it would be interesting to see how it comes out. Should be no different to putting it in the oven
My Ninja Foodi Max doesn't have either prove or steam bake, sadly. I used bake for my wholemeal, seedy loaf and it works well although my silicone bread tin makes the bottom a bit sweaty so I turn it out and pop it bake in for about 4 mins on the rack. I wish I had all the features of your Ninja because that loaf is outstanding!
@@christiner302 Hi, prove at kitchen temperature and it will fine just takes a bit more time. You could then bake. I’m sure it will come out lovely still
Hi suzannah did you use some of the measured water in your yeast, got my cook book this week loving the layout and lost of choice I buy loads of books but they contained too many things I don’t like but even tho I’ve only flicked through quick I love it, I’ve also just received a replacement ninja as I was having problems with my other one getting too hot and burning everything x
Hi, I just used enough water to dissolve the yeast. This is a little extra. I'm glad you are liking the book. Good knew you got a replacement, something clearly wasn't right. They are amazing machine but unfortunately do go wrong from time to time
So i made this the other day ready for the next day for work i found it was really stale the next day, and I've re watched it and thought there was no oil in it could this be the reason or the quick rising , ive never made any bread without oil or butter so just checking this is correct
Hi Susannah, the bread looks delicious. Just one question, is there any particular reason for using the steam bake setting instead of the steam bread setting on the Ninja 15 in 1. Does this make any real difference? Love watching your videos. Thank you.
@@Jay-mf2kf no reason other than I wanted to try it. See if there is a difference. Bread came out well… I haven’t noticed anything to report so use whichever you prefer
Why all the sugar ? I bake bread every week and dont use any sugar ? why didnt you do the first prove in the Ninja ? and why did you use "steam bake" as opposed to "steam bread" ?
@@gsnmeyer I wanted to change it up from my other loaf and some people like the sugar in it. Of course you don’t have to add that, it’s better for you without. I wanted to try steam bake to see if there was a difference to steam bread. The result was really good. You can do the first prove in the ninja if you prefer. I’ve heard that a slower prove at kitchen temperature can improve the flavour of the bread. I had the time so again I thought I’d experiment.
You give really great easy to follow instructions, I am looking forward to making my own bread in my Ninja 😊
Hope you enjoy
