I didn't know other people fantasized about being kidnapped as a child, like I did...it's awful being subjected to so much abuse from such a young age that you imagine kidnappers would treat you better than your own parents. Because at least to them you have value.

My heart goes out to Kisha. I’m so sorry you weren’t protected and cared for the way you deserve to be. Just remember that the way you were treated doesn’t have anything to do with your worth. Some people are just mean, some people are just selfish some people just don’t know how to be parents and for some it’s all of the above and other things. It has nothing to do with who you are. You seem like a wonderful woman. God has blessed the earth with your presence.

I understand where you're coming from. I was being violated by my first cousin husband at 8 years old .My mom had passed away and we went from pillar to post living with different people. Finally we ended up living with our father, then he remarried when I turn 12, thought things will be alright , but that's when all hell broke loose. She mistreated us badly.Her brother who was a couple years older then me would come into the room and kept trying to touch me.He even did it to his own brothers wife.When she told my stepmom about it she said that it couldn't have been him that it must have been my brother who was two years younger than me which makes him ten years old who had no knowledge of sex.Then I knew that if I told her what he had tried to do to me every night , she wouldn't believe me either.So being scared when he was around I wouldn't sleep, I grew my fingernails very long and when he would come in and put his hands on me that's when I would claw him very deeply with my fingernails, after a couple of times he stop.But where was my dad, he was there but I didn't tell him because I didn't want to cause problems between him and her.I know in my heart he would be dead and she would no longer be his wife.I found it in my heart to forgive her at least I thought I did, butbwhen my dad passed, she resurfaced doing and saying evil things.Once again I forgaved her.But when my little sister passed and we wrer supposed to get together for Thanksgiving, she manage to not come instead she invited all the family to her house saying that was to far to my house and she don't know why I want to buy a house in the country Basically she just down right degraded me.Then the passed resurfaced again. So to keep my santity I have decided to just stay away and just love from a distance.I have decided not to give family functions and invite her because she 'll say she's coming and not show and at the same time convince my half siblings , neices and nephews, not to come and for ever what reasons she might present to them. But guess what I'm good because, SOMEBODY OUT THERE DO CARE .AND I THANK GOD FOR SENDING HIM INTO MY LIFE AND THAT'S MY HUSBAND WHO HAS HELP ME LEARN HOW TO PRAY AND ASK GOD FOR HELP. I understand now that I don't have to hate her or anyone else , all I have to do is hate the sin and keeping loving her but from a distance. Amen

That's crazy. My kids were kidnapped by their mother and the family court system allowed it for 3 months. Fast forward about 15 years.I still won.

I swear these damn cops who treat children & SA survivos like they're the criminals in these situations r POS. I have heard 2 many stories of officers being AZZ holes towards victims. Blaming them 4 the assault, calling them whores, or just denying their story entirely. But If it their daughter, sister or mother I bet they wouldn't appreciate their family being disrespected in that manner. Glad there has bn some progress on how 2 ? Victims but it shld have bn that way from the beginning.

MY MOTHER GAVE MY FATHER THE OPPORTUNITY; BOTH LIVED IB BROOKLYN NEW YORK. MY MOM LIVED IN RED HOOK AND MY FATHER LIVED IN FORT GREENE.
MY FATHER TOOK ME OUT OF THE COUNTRY (INTO JAMAICA) TO LIVE HIS FAMILY.
THE FEDS HAD TO SEARCH FOR ME AND WHEN THEY FOUND ME, SHE SENT ME TO LOUISIANA.
I'm so angry that this woman and other children were violated. Adults should protect children, and these adults definitely failed them. The father should have been in jail.
