The abuse this woman suffered really warped her mind. She sounds strangely enamored of her abuser. Sprinkling GOD all over her stories of violence only makes matters worse. I really wish that she had been wise enough, to completely disconnect from the abusers in her family. 😢

If something happened to them that's on you. You can be loving without putting your kids in harms way. It was was about you but would have been about your kids.
Right! And I know that the dynamic between an abuser and their victim is super complicated and we can’t always judge where that leads someone. But allowing that man to even look in her kids’ direction…? I’m judging that. Two things can be true at the same time, so, I can definitely be heartbroken for the trauma and pain that she went through (and continues to go through) but I can also be angry and disgusted with her for putting her babies in the line of fire. She’s not a stupid woman. SHE KNEW BETTER.

I pray that none of your children experienced abuse by him , but if they did it’s now your fault for allowing him to be there. Normalize forgiving for your OWN healing process, but do NOT normalize reconnecting with pedophiles- what example do you think that sets for your children and other people who have experienced SA? Victim or not, there is work that needs to be done in order to become a worthy advocate for others and she still has such a long way to go.

I watch this channel alot and this video makes me really unsettled and it just doesn't feel right. IMO there is really something wrong here. I feel so bad for what she went through, but, no. This story brought tears to my eyes. I went through sexual abuse started with my half sibling. I did all I could even at such a young age, offering myself to protect my sister. You really welcomed that monster of a cousin into your home with your own children? This raises a safe guarding issue. I need to know if you had any counselling at all? You went through so much trauma growing up. As a child you have no understanding and the chemicals are unbalanced in the brain. You can forgive yourself but dont forget. These monsters who have no conscience, go on to abuse by using any forms of manipulation to get what they want. I have knots in my stomach for the safety of your own children. Take it from a woman who has been there and is still affected many many years later. I pray healing, love and light into your life.💜❤️
My cousin s.a me my sister and brother. He's a year or 2 older then me. I'm the oldest of my 2 siblings. I have 3 kids of my own. My cousin is still around my family. I will not let him around my kids. I hate him. He's a drunk now. My brother is a drunk aswell. My brother's is hurting I know it. Because of that bastard cousin of ours

Lord have mercy, generational abuse/trauma is a NASTY thing.. alot of people are so sheltered and brainwashed while growing up and with abuse, they don't know anything else or that there IS something else. Also, I always say, don't stay together "for the kids" having experienced my mother being abused physically verbally emotionally mentally by my father, those are some of my earliest memories, you best believe that shit scarred me for life.

I feel like we have so much in common. The abuse at home and having to protect your mom. And, why I got older I started learning more about God and the scriptures how God teaches us to love ourselves and to forgive those that harmed us. It’s not easy to forgive someone that hurt you both directly and indirectly. Me seeing and hearing the fights. Always wonder when dad comes home is it gonna be ok or is there gonna be a huge fight tonight. I was always living in the edge with anxiety it did affect me I was outgoing and happy kid, but turned into a shy unhappy to teenager. Art and music were my passions too. I always loved playing sports and weightlifting at age 12. If I had confidence I would have joined the wrestling team in middle school.
Anyways, I was bitterly angry at the people that harmed me even angry at my parents for making me grow to fast and not enjoy being a child then teenager. I would dislike some of my classmates because I just thought they were so immature and how are these kinds of people are popular? I learned they were just being children young teenagers having fun and they were the normal ones not me who was usually always serious. With my group of friends I was the funny one and athletic one. Playing sports and lighting weights made me feel strong and powerful because I had no power in my life at home. I’m in my 40s I’ve worked a lot on myself, but there’s still so much work to do. I just try to help others that are younger than me because I don’t want them to take most of their life to learn to love themselves and feel their are deserving of love. I missed out on so many opportunities because I didn’t have any support and it’s so hard to have to be my own cheerleader. I try to remind myself I don’t live in my past now and I’m an adult that has control of my life. I’ve experienced many good things also. Thanks for your story. I feel like we are sisters spiritually. The world needs more people like you.
