  • In this scenic travel documentary I take you on an aerial journey through China, one of the world’s most fascinating, beautiful, complex and diverse countries.
From rugged mountain landscapes and beautiful nature reserves to modern skylines of seemingly ever-growing cities. From small, tranquil villages nestled among green rice terraces to walled cities steeped in history, traditions, and culture. From massive industrial complexes and factories to modern office towers and awe-inspiring architecture.
I filmed all footage for this 4K video between 2016 and 2019, on four independent journeys through China. It is accompanied by calm, relaxing music, sometimes with a cinematic, upbeat, or mysterious undertone. For other travel documentaries click here:

Here’s a brief overview of some of the places visited in this video:
After a short introduction, we begin this journey near the spectacular rice terraces of Yuanyang, before moving on to the captivating Buddhist temples of Dali. Via the peculiar Shilin Stone Forest and the ‘Rainbow Mountains’ of Zhangye, we arrive in Guangzhou (Canton), one of China’s largest cities. After the Yellow Mountains national park, and the intriguing ‘tulou’ buildings, we visit the Great Wall and the Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest such statue in the world.
After flying through the ice and snow city of Harbin, where people enjoy a unique Winter event, we take a brief look at the imposing Yellow River, Hukou waterfall, Zhengzhou and Changsha cities, before stopping at the breathtaking Jiuzhaigou national park, filled with crystal clear blue lakes. The next place is the countryside in between rural Yangshuo and urban Guilin, easily one of the most popular tourist destinations in China, where the Li river meanders through bizarre karst scenery.
For more diversity, we travel to Dunhuang to visit the arid Gobi Desert. We also have a look at a solar panel field and windmill park, before we fly over some heavy industry, including a steel factory, coal mine, oil refinery, concrete dam, shipyard, an oil rig, and a massive bridge. Hong Kong is our next destinations, before moving on to several places along the Yangtze river (or its distributaries), including Tiger Leaping Gorge, Chongqing, and Wuhan.
On Hainan island we see the ‘tropical’ side of China, while in Xiahe and Tibet we visit the country’s highlands. From the frozen cities of Jilin and Xining we arrive in Qingdao, with its German colonial architecture and coastal vibe. In Macau we fly over the famous casinos, but also visit the Portuguese quarters, and after the rice fields of Longji (Dragon’s Backbone), we increase our altitude in the Yulong national park.
After Hangzhou and Shenyang, we briefly look at one of China’s many ‘ghost towns’ and construction sites, before flying on to the surreal pillars of Zhangjiajie, and the (perhaps) equally stunning skyline of Shanghai. After showing the modern part of the city and the port (harbor), we also explore some of the disappearing neighborhoods, destroyed factories, and the strange looking ‘bicycle graveyard’.
From the freezing ‘Xuexiang’ village and walled city of Pingyao we continue our journey in Xian, Shenzhen, Suzhou, and Changzhou. Finally, we take a look at the mesmerizing Yuanmou ‘Earth Forest’, Kunming city, and Lijiang, one of China’s most famous historic towns.

@@ethanzhang1238 Hello Ethan, I think it's way more serious than most take it, sales of personal items drop and it must hurt the workers in China. Then you have how easy it was change people from being friendly towards China until 2017 then the propaganda war began and without showing any evidence the western media turned the majority of the west from friends to hate filled morons by telling lies, if you read what happened back in Germany in the 1930's you will see the exact same process, then the people were told the Jewish people were a problem and look what ended up happening then, it's happening again where people are not only allowed to be racist towards another peoples but it is encouraged and this time it's we in the west who are in the evil nations. that's why I take more seriously.

I'm a native of China, and I'm glad to see such a wonderful film here. The real China is even more beautiful than the film. When I see the western media constantly smearing China, I'm actually very sad. In fact, China people are very friendly. As long as you respect China people equally, you will feel our enthusiasm in China. I hope foreign friends will not look at China with colored glasses, and finally welcome everyone to visit China.

Ninguna. Cero. ¡Nada! China no ataca.

Why are we all trying to fit in and be again and again part of this insanely fallen world?
Why not listen OUR MAKER and come and keep being fully out from BABYLON which is this soon to be fully digital world?.
Bible verses related to Not Fitting In from the King James Version
John 15:19 - If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
2 Timothy 3:12 - Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1 Peter 2:19-21 - For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. (Read More...)
Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
2 Corinthians 6:14 - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 - Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (Read More...)
Genesis 1:26-27 - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Read More...)
      2 Thessalonians 2:3 - Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Hebrews 10:25 - Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Believing not the lies of this world nor taking part from it`s affairs (stop voting for good, stop protesting, leave 9 -5 jobs, schools, throwing out the TVs from the households to keep themselves far from consuming this worlds entertainments).
      Revelation 18:4
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Many souls, quick to call themselves “christians” but are not busy being one In reality also:
GOD expect the souls who follow His son, CHRIST JESUS to do the WILL OF HIS HEAVENLY FATHER:
      - keep the 10 commandments (including a resting in every 7th day of the week),
      - preach the gospel to all creatures (a job for the male side of human population as we read that females: 1 Timothy 2:12
      - watch the signs which GOD shall send,
      - expose the evil doers (the masons and their master)
Why many don´t bother to seek out what Christianity is truly about?

Amazing! I wish China 🇨🇳 and America 🇺🇸 wasn't such adversaries. Well, not the people, but our lousy governments.
Imagine the tourist industry if Chinese would visit America and America visit China.
Maybe one day we'll all get along.
Great video, and thanks for sharing.
Love to China 🇨🇳 from Florida USA 🇺🇸.

In fact, the Chinese also appreciate the United States very much. I think Trump and Biden should learn from the great President Reagan how to establish a friendly relationship with China

@billchan768 I know, right? Why do we have to be adversaries? It's all in the leadership. Reagan was a real leader.

China is the most beautiful, it's people are the most amazingly talented and high IQ individuals! The architecture is the most advanced in the world 🌍! China is just so amazing! It's military parades are a marvel! China maybe the first Nation ever to reach a level 2 civilization one day 😂! But if not, they are A+ in achievement and hard work and talent!😅 China is indeed a role model for the entire global mission! We love you China!❤
