Excellent video. One additional feature that I found while trying this is that if you hold down to lower right button a little longer the hand will start moving continously. This saves you a lot of pushes if you have to move the hands a long way.
This was SUCH an instructive video. The manual doubtlessly goes into this, but requires a lot of reading to get to; and even then not always clear. So a BIG thanks for showing how to do this. BTW I accidentally discovered that you can easily move the hands 'fast', for doing the hours (mine was 1hr adrift on the digital versus analogue display), by HOLDING (depressing) the button used to move the hands incrementally (6 presses = 1min), and it suddenly moves automatically, and fast, which saves pressing the button 360 times to alter the hands by 1 hour. JUST before the hands move forwards or backwards (according to the + or - on the digital display) by one complete hour, quickly press it to exit the fast hand mode. Then adjust in the 6-increments per 1 minute manually. Thanks again. I've given you the thumbs up, and subscribed to your channel (though perhaps won't be needed for a while, hopefully, if the watch keeps its hand alignment as expected). But my way of saying thank-you and showing due respect :-)
This video is a godsend. I packed my watch in the side compartment of my suitcase and thought I broke it. I even ordered a new one. I was able to adjust it, though. It went out of alignment again for no real reason and I fixed it again. Looks like I need to bookmark this vid. Thank you

This video helped a lot, thanks! But as a tip, in the + or - 0 screen, you can actually hold that bottom right button down, and the hands will start move faster, and will stop when you let go of the button. If they don’t stop, they should after another quick press of the button

I had lost a little over one minute (over 8 years), now I gained the lost time! and now that my watch is adjusted back on time, I will be 1 minute late until I get adjusted to the new adjustment, all thx to you. great video!

This awesome guy helped me correct the alignment on 2 of the three casios I recently purchased. The 3rd is a casio square with no hands to worry about, being fully digital, with bluetooth, so my phone just automatically makes sure everything is right with the watch.

I left my watch in the washing machine, and it experienced the same process with my clothes...washing, rotating, drying... it turns out the anolog is 5 min slower than the digital one, it makes me frustrated. Now i repaired it using you method, it works again, I love my watch..cool.😁

Great video. I'm a big Wave Ceptor fan. On my 3747 movement, from the time keeping mode, I had to press the lower left button (C) six times to get to Hand Setting mode, then upper left button (A) until the digital time started to flash, then adjust with the lower right (D).
Thought my watch was done for but I was able to fix it after watching this video. Thank you! . . . Next time I"ll check my pockets before doing laundry . . .

Thanks... watch out for the charging button dock for an Apple Watch I think that is what messed with mine. Might be cautious for other magnetic charging tricks and tools for new phones.

I don’t have that watch so I don’t have a video about it. Also, that one has 4 buttons so the method is just a bit different. But if you look up the module 5110 on Casio’s website you can download the manual. The hand alignment instructions are on page E-64.
It worked like you said, but in less than ten minutes, when I checked my 640 again, the seconds hand had gone out of alignment by 40 seconds. Any thoughts on this would be highly welcome. The battery light comes on strong, so the battery is not an issue, and the watch is only 2 years old. The minute hand stays correct. It is only the seconds hand that gains and loses everyday. The problem is about a week old.
I had my first digital & analog wacth back in the mid to late 1980's I stll have it and it work on the analog rime part but the battery dies a lot sooner that it should and the digital doesn't wok or display at all A brand called Armitron , and the watch was called Durasteel and it was a tough watch back went it was new and looke great too.
I have a WVO 140 (4756). I have watched the video several times. Two questions. Will the instructions given here work for my casio? Also, my seconds and minute hands are fine, but the hour is off by 4 hours. You don't cover hours, but I assume If I keep pressing the lower left it will adjust the hours? I like to wear a watch 24/7 but someone told me you have to take Waveceptor watches off on a night in order for it to correctly gather the precise time with the auto correct set after midnight. Is this correct?
I suppose it depends on where you are. Some have told me that they actually have better atomic time reception when they wear the watch. Generally, however, it is recommended that you leave it in a place with better reception overnight AND that you keep the watch from moving around while it’s trying to receive. Often, it’s more reliable when you leave it next to a window if you live very far away from the transmitter. Every now and then I will activate atomic time reception while I’m sitting in my recliner in the middle of the basement in the middle of the day AND while I’m wearing the watch... and it works!

Just to me, a watch should be on the wrist constant, if not meant to be worn through the night... why do they give you a button that lights it up and put an alarm on it to wake you, there is no way I would like to hunt for a watch when alarm goes off 🤣 I am a person who likes precise time. I normally check Quartz watches on a weekly basis and set minutes and seconds. Never had a Waveceptor watch and ordered my very first which is a Casio WV-200E and arriving tomorrow.. I will have to look at how to activate atomic time if unsure of precise time through the day if needed, but hoping not having too 👍

This is the most important video any Casio Waveceptor owner must watch because the watch is often out of alignment!
Only one of my watches had the hands go out of alignment on their own and it only happened once. But this fixed the problem.
