How do you feel about the electronic viewfinder? When I look through the optical viewfinder on my dslr, I always feel like I was in the scene that I’m taking pictures of. How the artistic experience changes with a mirrorless camera?
    Nice video, by the way!😊

thanks! :) Honestly I LOVE the electronic viewfinder but I actually just use the live view now vs the viewfinder. Definitely a big switch - I also don't tend to have time during sessions to feel particularly artistic and am usually working off a shot list to make sure I don't miss anything. If I were doing photography in a different setting I might feel differently!

That’s a really good point! The type of photography or videography is important. Thank you for replying!:)

The weight issue is big for me too tension wise.

No compelling reasons for me to switch. Both are interchangeable lens digital cameras. My old model workhorse DSLRs are fully capable of doing anything that R5 can do.
Hey, customers are interested in photos, not eye autofocus of the camera!

Sounds like you're throwing out a pretty big hyperbole there about old DSLRs being able to do anything an R5 can do.
Obviously if someone is well adapted to focusing and getting exposure correct with a DSLR, then they can get the job done. But to say that something like a 5D mark iii can handle fast action the same way the R5 can is a bold and unsubstantiated claim.

Sony A1 is even faster. So, throw out your R5 and get the Sony now. Few months later when sth else comes up with more juicy features, then grab that and ditch the Sony A1!!! This way the game goes on but never learn photography.

Also please note, all photographers are not doing sports. And sports lovers watch TV Channels, not still images.
