Even though those cinematic shots already looked perfectly fine before, editing the wires out really brought a new vibe/experience to the project. It was almost as if we were viewing a real Battle of Hoth, only miniature! Already eagerly anticipating your next upload. A very clean and top quality project yet again!
Absolutely incredible, and I loved the “cinematic” glamor shots at the end, but would love to get and up close of all the “important” details. I love learning all the little thing most people won’t know about a beautiful diorama. Keep doing you, love your works of art.
i wanna get into stuff like this but it just seems so deep. the way you so simple state your process within your builds rlly inspires me to get into this hobby
As a life long hard core fan that saw the original Star Wars film in theatres, bravo sir!!!!!! This stirred some unexpected feelings in me and I’m grateful. You’re a true artist!!!!! ❤
Always love a good Hoth diorama! The 3d printers really add a new dimension of flexibility to the scale model hobby, and as ever your lights boost everything to the next level. Have a great weekend!
Honestly it’s so cool how one person simply having fun making dioramas can inspire so many people to make really good looking fun to make dioramas Well done btw :)
I am a Combat Infantry Veteran of the Iraq/ Afghanistan war with two deployments. I saw the Empire Strikes Back in the theater in the Netherlands when It came out. Years later, I can honestly relate to the trench combat on Hoth. You should do an in-trench diorama of the combat the Rebels fought to show hoe fierce they were and gave their all.
You are such an amazing model builder, even if I don’t like a certain genre you build in I watch the video and absolutely love it. I love all your Star Wars builds and I can’t wait for more amazing builds.
This made me remember the AT-ATs on Kashyyyk from fallen order, that would look sick as a diorama, specially when thinking of all the weathering on the AT-ATs which I think would give it a really detailed look
I'm almost as mesmerized by all the various tools/gadgets as I am by the assembling. (I did have some phantom gum pains when you were using that dental tool. Those freaking things are torture devices!) Once again, amazing! Thank you for giving me back my SW childhood for a few minutes. Heaven knows the current SW writers have destroyed enough of it.
Art right there. I can't stop looking at it. Maybe add some mini speakers to the board and play some iconic sounds from the scene? Now that would be awesome.
Hiding the filament wires looked really convincing! Well done! definitely adds to the viewing experience, although I would keep one unedited shot of it as well to show the real thing. Just like you did! Great Video!
Never really knew about Dioramas and what not before until I got recommended your channel. It’s very cool seeing these small landscapes and etc. I think it’d be really cool to see a medieval castle siege or battlefield.
When I was in my early teens, I used to build model airplanes from the old Revel model kits. I though I was hot stuff. What you are doing is light years ahead of anything I dreamed of. This looks like a scene from the film. Fantastic job!
Brilliant work as always! I must admit though, i'm intrigued by the urban and jungle concepts you mentioned. I'd love to see you do AT-ATs or AT-STs in that setting.
Love watching your Star Wars dioramas and I’m planning to make a tatooine one over the summer, could you try to make something tatooiny so that I can see how you do it?
Because of you I made a small diorama of the Bandai at st model kit studk in the ground of Endor with nature taking it over with trees in the back ground. Because if you I have realized how much fun and I thank you for the masterpieces you’ve made. Thank you so much now I have 5 dioramas of an AT AT, a flying x wing, a crashed tie fighter, and and old imperial base
I immediately noticed the wires edited out in the end and I think it sold the battle so much more for me. I've always noticed them there in the past, but knew it was unavoidable to have them seen. Really impressed with your edit on them too, super well done!
WOW, what an amazing imagination you have, I have been blown away by everything I've seen you do please, please keep up the great work can't wait to see what you come up with next .
I wish people like this sold these, I understand how proud of them yall are but yall could make some serious money, even if you just set up a shop and only sold ones that you didn't want anymore
How awesome to picture this attack scene with the light effects used. I myself used the scene where Luke is hanging from the belly of an AT-AT after he crashes his snowspeeder.. very cool diorama ✨👍✨
I LOVE it, C! Man, all of your work is just tip-top. The little footprints, the big AT-AT footprints, the blaster marks, the wiring, LEDs, etc... So good! Thanks for the mention. : )
It's absolutely gorgeous! I love it! The monochromatic palette makes it really interesting. I'm neutral about hiding the filaments and rods in editing. It's nice to see it without, but I also like to know exactly what the piece looks like so yeah, no real opinion.
I liked the touch of hiding the wires. I never hated it in previous videos but as you say I feel It did boost that final viewing experience just that little bit!
Absolutely Outstanding. This is my favorite scene you have ever done. I love the battle of Hoth and you captured it perfectly. Your are so talented. Keep up the great work
Wonderfully recreated the atmosphere of the battle of Hoth, and the planet itself. That explosion around the bay door looks so realistic, brilliant work!
hoth is my FAVOURITE Star Wars setting and scene, out of the entire trilogy! i guess I can just relate to the snow. i just wish it had more representation since it’s just so cool, in my opinion
This reminds me of some world war 2 dioramas I saw at a military museum as a kid. Probably around 1980.. It was of the Kokoda Trail jungle battle in Papua New Guinea. Similar scale. I was in awe and it inspired my interest in not only military history but small scale dioramas as well. My grandfather survived that battle. It must have been rough.
Very impressed with your innovation and attention to detail. Loved the billowing cotton illusion. Very effective. Am working on an engineering project of my own and you've motivated me to keep going so thanks. Keep up the good work.🙂🙂🙂
This is amazing as always!! Those are really good for such a small scale and I love the blaster bolts, they just blend it all together so well! Keep it up man these videos are very entertaining and helpful as well 👍
What might be cool is to make the lights from the AT-ATs move along wires down to the intended target, it might work a bit like an electric train set track where there's a loop on each end of the light which keeps it connected to the wire. That might be awesome! Really enjoyed this one I look forward to more western dioramas!
i love that i’ve been able to watch not only your hobby skills, but also your editing and video production skills improve over time :) a new boylei hobby time video appearing in my feed is a good time :)
look... I'm 55 years old and I have seen EVERYTHING Star Wars. Behind the scenes, how it was made, blah blah blah. I saw Star Wars (not a New Hope) when I was 10 years old and this is FUCKING amazing. Not sorry about the profanity. This just takes me back. Back to when it was just Star Wars and not some new regurgitated shit. This made me actually feel something. Thank you for that. Can I buy you a coffee? A beer or a good shot maybe. Show me where to send the $$. Love your work Sir and what you do brings a joyful tear to me eye. Hats off to you. =)
Unique blaster bolt techniques from the AT-ATs. You could have extended the blasts at the gate in a similar method where the filaments align with the projectile path. Excellent craftsmanship.
Even though those cinematic shots already looked perfectly fine before, editing the wires out really brought a new vibe/experience to the project. It was almost as if we were viewing a real Battle of Hoth, only miniature! Already eagerly anticipating your next upload. A very clean and top quality project yet again!
Absolutely, you couldn’t even see the wires
Well, the "real" Battle of Hoth we saw on-screen was just miniatures! This is so cool!
Love the touch with the wires edited out. It does give an entirely different viewing experience. Love the vids man! Thank you! 🙌🏼
Really love how that turned out. Cant really tell the wires are there at all in those finished shots, the illusion is perfect.
Your creativity and skill shows, not just in the builds themselves, but also in your videos that show the builds!
Man, you always make masterpieces! You've inspired me to make a diarama myself, and it's been so much fun! Your passion is contagious!
Honestly it’s so cool how one person simply having fun making dioramas can inspire so many people to make really good looking fun to make dioramas
Well done btw :)

Very impressive! Nice job.
Fantastic work mate. I didn't see a video from you last week and I imagined that you were building something big 😉. Finally it was worth the wait 👍👍
Scale is what out then again it cant be correct as the movies never get ti correct :)
AH YE PROPER BRI'ISH
This made me remember the AT-ATs on Kashyyyk from fallen order, that would look sick as a diorama, specially when thinking of all the weathering on the AT-ATs which I think would give it a really detailed look

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽‼️13min. of pure JOY & 💥ENTERTAINMENT .......and of COURSE WAY BETTER THAN ALL THE CURRENT EPISODES after the "ORIGINAL TRILOGY"‼️
With this level of skill... aren't you a member of the Star Wars art director team?
I can't help but press this thumbnail😳
Art right there. I can't stop looking at it. Maybe add some mini speakers to the board and play some iconic sounds from the scene? Now that would be awesome.

Your subtle comedy is what makes these videos golden. Your talent is just a byproduct 🤙🏼
So good! The hidden wires in the edit was a nice touch!
Never really knew about Dioramas and what not before until I got recommended your channel. It’s very cool seeing these small landscapes and etc. I think it’d be really cool to see a medieval castle siege or battlefield.
Good job on making this video. The way you did the camera at 1:32 really made me feel like I was one of the troops looking at the ATs
another amazing piece the little snow troopers really add so much flair same with the trenches and the turrets ect
It was such a cool touch to edit out the wires for the feature shots! Awesome work as always. Genuinly one of the best youtubers out there.
Oh wow, when it lit up, I immediately thought it was real, very very impressive, awesome on the door explosion.
Love this diorama, wouldn't mind seeing more of these bigger diorama's in small scale.
Unbelievable. Beautiful craft. A pleasure to watch and see the end result.
I always love your videos and creativity especially the use of the LED lights I can’t wait to try that on some of my future creations
When I was in my early teens, I used to build model airplanes from the old Revel model kits. I though I was hot stuff. What you are doing is light years ahead of anything I dreamed of. This looks like a scene from the film. Fantastic job!
This is absolutely incredible, the amount of detail is crazy, I wish I could do stuff like this, great job
Those AtAts look amazing especially after the lasers and weathering details.
Amazing job as always!! Your attention to detail and story telling is so well thought out!! Truly inspiring!!!
One of my favorite cinematic scenes in the SW universe. As always, this is a stunning work of art! Keep up the great content, BHT!
Brilliant work as always! I must admit though, i'm intrigued by the urban and jungle concepts you mentioned. I'd love to see you do AT-ATs or AT-STs in that setting.
Noticed that sublet twenty pilots nod in the beginning.
I just love to see how these dioramas are improving as time goes by. Good job on the diorama!! Always look forward to your vids
10:40 I love the tiny troopers
Didn’t realize how amazing a diorama could be till I started watching your videos you do an amazing job!
I really like seeing both versions in the final shots, it’s cool to see it “as it would be” but also very cool to see the craft behind it!
Love watching your Star Wars dioramas and I’m planning to make a tatooine one over the summer, could you try to make something tatooiny so that I can see how you do it?

What a masterpiece this is! And a 13 minute long extravaganza to boot!
I immediately noticed the wires edited out in the end and I think it sold the battle so much more for me. I've always noticed them there in the past, but knew it was unavoidable to have them seen. Really impressed with your edit on them too, super well done!
I look forward to these!! Love your work so much.
WOW, what an amazing imagination you have, I have been blown away by everything I've seen you do please, please keep up the great work can't wait to see what you come up with next .
I have been looking for a diorama like this for so long, THIS IS WHY I SUBSCRIBE TO YOU
Your work is so impressive that seeing a few small wires or filaments is no big deal. Anyone who complains about that is not sufficiently impressed.
This is a wonderful diorama.
Can you tell me where to buy the led?
I think he gets them on Etsy from memory
The cosmetic editions in the cinematic were very well done- It was definitely pleasurable
I wish people like this sold these, I understand how proud of them yall are but yall could make some serious money, even if you just set up a shop and only sold ones that you didn't want anymore
Would love to see a wild western battle where the mech is falling of a cliff while the crew battles some sort of monster. Great videos!
How awesome to picture this attack scene with the light effects used. I myself used the scene where Luke is hanging from the belly of an AT-AT after he crashes his snowspeeder.. very cool diorama ✨👍✨
Awesomely crafted. Thoughtfully made from a true Star Wars fan. Excellent.
So cool! I think i like seeing both the wires edited out at the end, but also some footage of seeing them in. Just cool to see it both ways
I liked the touch of hiding the wires. I never hated it in previous videos but as you say I feel
It did boost that final viewing experience just that little bit!
That's awesome. My favorite vehicle, characters, and scene all in one diorama.
Absolutely Outstanding. This is my favorite scene you have ever done. I love the battle of Hoth and you captured it perfectly. Your are so talented. Keep up the great work
Awesome diorama! The machines and troops looks so nice. Beautiful.
Simply amazing! I’m a big fan of Star Wars myself so I love it when I see stuff like this. Keep it up lad!
He makes a tutorial basicly but like ten times better than tutorial and it’s super fun too watch
You certainly have earned the right to edit or not edit, but we appreciate you doing so and being forthcoming about doing it.
Always please include what it looks like in person. Post dramatized photos are great too but always include what it looks like in person 😊
Watching your stuff is like therapy, love it! Can't wait to see what's next!
My favorite part, as simple as it is, is the Blaster marks in the snow. So cool.!
Wonderfully recreated the atmosphere of the battle of Hoth, and the planet itself. That explosion around the bay door looks so realistic, brilliant work!
Favorite part of my night I unwind and watch you build keep up the good work
hoth is my FAVOURITE Star Wars setting and scene, out of the entire trilogy! i guess I can just relate to the snow. i just wish it had more representation since it’s just so cool, in my opinion
Awesome job on the diorama and editing, I think hiding the wires was an excellent choice
Amazing job you did. I think, diorama from Star Wars never gets old. Well done
This is one of my favorite dioramas of yours so far, I love the Hoth battle, it's so iconic.
This is just next level. Always loved your star wars dioramas. I been a fan of you for a very long time.
This reminds me of some world war 2 dioramas I saw at a military museum as a kid. Probably around 1980.. It was of the Kokoda Trail jungle battle in Papua New Guinea. Similar scale. bandai plamo snap-fit kits are literally the absolute best in the hobby. they are perfect for projects like these
Very impressed with your innovation and attention to detail. Loved the billowing cotton illusion. Very effective. Am working on an engineering project of my own and you've motivated me to keep going so thanks. Keep up the good work.🙂🙂🙂
This was amazing. Love the hiding of the filaments.👍🏽
I have been binging your videos since I found you last night. So amazing, just completely mesmerized at how creative your ideas and execution are.
This is amazing as always!! Those are really good for such a small scale and I love the blaster bolts, they just blend it all together so well! Keep it up man these videos are very entertaining and helpful as well 👍

looks amazing. id love to see more of the hard work that goes into the making
Lazer beam LED lights are very cool! Fantastic!
I would LOVE to see how you hide everything! It really helps me (and others I am sure) when creating our own scenes! Great work!!
This is truly beautiful. I can only imagine the time this took.
I followed all your projecs and they evolved from nice fun builds to masterpieces! Awesome work!
Just found this channel, and this Star Wars diorama is absolutely amazing.
i love that i’ve been able to watch not only your hobby skills, but also your editing and video production skills improve over time :) a new boylei hobby time video appearing in my feed is a good time :)
My favorite build you’ve done by far. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Yes, you could also use the same stuff you used for the terrain to hide the wire.
This is so dope ! I love frontline/battle at large scale diorama , great job !
Amazing work. The video editing for removing the wires was great as well. I didn't even notice if the wires were edited out, but it was worth it.
These vidoes are some the most interesting things I've watched in long while, really appreciate the details like the foot prints.
I love this guys creativity

Love it. Looks very realistic. Don’t know how I missed it on the weekend. Thanks for sharing. Happy days and model on! 😎🇨🇦

Excellent craftsmanship.
Just amazing! Such detail thank you for making.
Man. This is just absolutely amazing. I hope you do a video teaching the best way to do miniature lighting. Always a fan👍😎
I was literally thinking “wait where are the footprints that the walkers left” and then you put them in, satisfying video! It looks amazing!!
