my thoughts exactly, this brave soldier survived the 3 long years of war then this cocky goblin that was up in his temple kills him, the jedi are traitors to the republic, FOR THE REPUBLIC !!!
You're a master at these Star Wars builds, all of which are quite complicated. Such an excellent job...and you even managed to get in a "Buster Scruggs" reference! :) Thanks for making these cool videos!!
the imperfections as in weathering or scratches add so much to a piece, its really astonishing how much effort we try to make things perfect which in doing so we forget what beauty really is.
What you could do to fix the ends of the filaments could be to give it a green coloring or color of whatever you decide to use with something translucent to give a glow to the tip
Instantly recognized the scene. I watched that 5-10 second clip a hundred times. The Obi-Wan and Yoda taking back the temple. Imagine the damage they inflicted on 100s of clones by them selves.
You never disappoint. Your dioramas just get more crazy and amazing. I know Starwars is your preferred subject and thats great but I would really like to see how creative you could be by stepping out and doing something that you want to do but don't are hesitant about. Again great work can't wait to see what you have planned next.
Just awesome. To hide the tip of the saber, maybe you could of had the trooper close to a wall or a boulder and the tip of the saber entered (whichever).
Or, with a display like this, maybe you could of buried a green LED in the trooper's back and used an acrylic rod as the saber. The LED would light the rod. Maybe not a brightly. Just my 2 cents. Love watching your builds.
4:50, idea. You could use micro LEDs as your light source and an acrylic rod for the blade. Sanding the rod may help intensify the illumination and will eliminate the dead end of the saber.
For the tips of those filaments, maybe you can using a green microdot LED? At the dollarstores around here (Dollarama) every Christmas they sell these strings of multi coloured microdot LEDs that run on 2AA batteries. If you had one of those, you could probably solder it to the end of the filament and maybe use hot glue or something to make it seamless and to spread out the light, if you are going to paint it. The dots with an epoxy bubble around it are approximately 2mm wide, 4mm long and 2mm thick, excluding the wire. They are pretty bright too.
Great scene, and it was awesome to watch you bring it to life! Always enjoy the bits of stop motion that you incorporate into your videos. And you continue to make it look so easy. So cool that you can just 3d sculpt your own Yoda to print and paint. He looked amazing! Another entertaining video Caleb. 50k is right around the corner!
This is really impressive. I would say if you could add some "burning marks" around the armor where the saber is "melting" the armor it would be perfect.
This is really good and all, and I hate to nitpick, but the clone trooper get's impaled first via lightsaber throw, then falls to his knees, that's the moment when yoda would be on his chest.
Because most diorama channels use original assets and not kit parts. Easy to beat out 2 a month when you only have to do 10% of the work as others, just look at that dude who makes the underwater diaromas. He makes everything from scratch and still pumps out like a champ.
Well about 3 years too late but for a while on Amazon the Bandai clone models were only about $15, I bought 2 with the initial intentions of displaying 1 in phase 1 and the other in phase 2, but I ended up painting one like the 501st and enjoyed doing it. But then the price went back up to $40 right after, but has dropped to around $27 and I bought 4 more, 2 to paint in phase 2 and 2 to paint phase 1, I’m going to do 2 of the ranks from attack of the clones (I don’t know which yet) and I’m doing the coruscant guard shock trooper and 212th attack battalion trooper for the phase 2. So if you’re still interested in these clone models they should be cheaper and easier to find now. They seem to be stocked up pretty regularly from the seller.
Digital cameras capture 2 green pixels for every red or blue pixel produced by the sensor. Could explain the neon green. (or just oversaturation in the camera's factory settings idk lol)
My suggestion for the lightsaber would be to try using clear acrylic rods (you can find them through various hobby supplies/amazon) over a single LED embedded wherever you need it. The end of the rod can either be left unchanged, or you could sand and round it, depends on how you want it to look with the light off. An airbrushed translucent paint sprayed over it will let you get the color you want. It might not glow quite as strong as the filament you used, but the entire thing will be lit instead of having a little dead zone at the tip, and it doesn't need a wire running behind it, so your circuitry can be more discreet.
I have some double strand Kynar wire its as thin as one of the strands you are using, so is easier to hide. I use it when ever possible. Its cheap and comes on big rolls.
The camera was set to" cool" either in a color setting or a kelvin setting depending on the camera 3400 kelvin makes a warm appearance ( reds ,yellow etc) like for sunsets etc. The higher the number the "colder" the picture. I hope this helps Btw, another awesome diorama
You’re nearly at 50k subs. For that video are you gonna do sometning big? Perhaps a battle scene between multiple clones and droids? Blaster shots all over both red and blue
Ahsoka: *"Set those blasters to stun, we don't want to hurt them"*
Yoda:
Yoda kinda goated
Ahsoka knew that the clones weren't doing it purposefully though, Yoda had no idea about the inhibitor chips, which is kinda sad
"Mercy. I know not."

The rank of hobby master, you have been granted
Love the stop-animation on him growing!

the fact u can make then print out ur own 3d models is so cool to me
Very satisfying to watch especially when you say, “ and I called it good!!!!!!’
Denver, huh? I'm just getting into customizing/ building dioramas and such. A little inspiring to know there's some local hobbyists as well.
Can't stop watching you work now, I love it, I wanna be like you one day. Please do more of these, I will always support you. Cheers.

1:15 Now you have to do a stop motion animated SW movie. That looked great and set sparks for stories in the SW stop motion world.
Comment to the past. One of my favorite ones. I had forgotten how far you’ve come with dioramas. I enjoy watching everyone. Nice work!
I'm always amazed at how easy you make this process look.

What a talented guy. Even liking the ballad of buster scruggs. These dioramas deserve more attention.
Keeping in mind the first episode of the clone wars... this epic diorama kinda hurts. RIP 501st trooper.
When my son was small he used to call Yoda the flying frog from hell. Go Yoda go!!!
4:50, idea. You could use micro LEDs as your light source and an acrylic rod for the blade. Sanding the rod may help intensify the illumination and will eliminate the dead end of the saber.
Man that's an impressive diorama, you have incredible skills of making Star Wars dioramas of action.
I am convinced your channel is singlehandedly the reason I cannot find these Bandai model kit clones for a reasonable price anywhere.
That is a beautiful model, but also there is a great feeling of sadness about it. I loved your stop motion too. Thank you for sharing your work.
Yoda: what sadness mean do you?
That little green demon at it again I see, the build looks great.

If you dip the lightsaber led in white wax a couple times, it'll act like a diffuser, and almost completely hide the wire running down it.
This is really impressive. I would say if you could add some "burning marks" around the armor where the saber is "melting" the armor it would be perfect.
the bits of stop motion is really fun, man. this came out great, especially your forged Yoda!
