- Well, it was time to take out that China Piston and put in something more reliable. I went ahead and did a port job to the cylinder with hope to gain a little power. Stay tuned for the break in and track run’s coming soon. Also, I’m going to advance the timing to try and tweak some more power.
All the work I do is for entertainment purposes. Make sure you always refer to the service manual for which the way I do things may not be the proper way. If you choose to duplicate what I do, you are doing it at your own risk. - บันเทิง

Hi thanks for video
My cr125 2001 has no bottom end will this help as I wanted to race it but it just too slow out of the corners I feel I could run faster lol i totally rebuilt the bike and love it but very disappointed in the lack of power at bottom to mid then it rips when you get it signing
Thanks again please update on what you do with the bike
You could try advancing the timing at the cost of some over rev. The bike was still very rich in this video. I now have it dailed in and it definitely making more power and very fun to ride. I definitely feel faster in the turns and feel I don’t have to work the clutch as much. Hope this helps! Update coming soon! Thanks for watching!
Thank you keep doing the videos 👍
If I’m looking at the ignition timing do I go clockwise or anti clockwise I understand that it’s very minimal movement but unsure what way to go
Thank you
Clockwise to advance the timing. However, I could only get a few degrees on the stock timing plate. Small increments and run the bike. I believe I only went a few degrees. Remember, where you gain somewhere, you always lose somewhere else. Listen for detonation and read your spark plug. Good luck!
Thank you 👍
