    Good video, the kit is a nice one stop option for this conversion but just so you know you can get the parts from your Stihl dealer by putting the bar from HT pole saws on there. Every schematic usually has two sprockets or more. Out of all of those usually there is one that is a different pitch chain. I highly recommend this kind of conversion not only for these in tree limbing saws but also for your ground guys for their rear handled saws. The chains are cheaper, faster to file, and less exhausting to use because you’re shaving off bar weight. It’s not as dramatic as issuing a light weight 26” bar are a larger CC saw but even on those smaller limbing saws we naturally tend to reach away from ourselves while limbing so it makes a difference. Think of it like holding a 5 gallon bucket full of water near your leg vs reaching out fully extended with that same full bucket. You will definitely feel it. Nice intro song and keeping the content relevant and not click bait. Stay safe and keep climbing!

But leaks oil exhaust side of engine n smokes sporadically. Kinda black on engine where head gasket is. Is it still safe to mow grass with it. I do take multiple breaks to let it cool some. Owned mine for about a week ride it every night. Love it. One distinguishing key elements is the handlebar width which is 21 inches. Typically wider than most scooters I see including the segway. This adds more stability for the ride which is fantastic I actually like it's more than the Segway ninebot Max.. I find it more fun, and at 30 lb much easier to carry around I call it two thumbs up for Evita

    I would like to see advance vs retard on the dyno as I've always thought you would advance a saw unless really upping the compression/squish area/decreasing squish height. On removing the muffler tubes, be sure the bolts are tight cause they end up in the cylinder if they back out.

    • @DIGGINGDEEP007
      @DIGGINGDEEP007 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kraftzion love the ideas! Yes, everyone is always about advancing the timing, but depending on the build you can loose power. I do think it does favor 2 smoke saws for the most part. The only way to find out is to test and tune!

  • @kraftzion
    @kraftzion หลายเดือนก่อน

    I would like to see some of your poulans on the dyno. I just ported first two saws, a 4218 strato crafstman.poulan and a 4620 pp non strato. The 4218 was 14 seconds in the cut stock, got it down to 7. The porting was the last thing I did it took me from 9 to 7. From 14 to 9 was a combination of muffler mod, drilling the carb venturi out from 9.5mm to 12mm, opening up the slot between the fan and air box, removing safety rakers and optimizing the chain, unshrouding the air filter and intake, shaving the carb blade screws and shafts, timing advance. If you are starting porting like me these saws are ideal. I way overshot mark on my 4620 went from 143 to 165 on the exhaust. Still dropped from 6 to 5 seconds after porting. It was already muffler modded and optimized without porting. I cant believe it got faster, thought was for sure going to fall on its face. Got a lot more to say but got to go right now. Needless to say very interested in seeing these saws on the dyno and how close you can get one to that 543xp clone. Cool channel!

      @@DIGGINGDEEP007 I just dug a 2002 PP295 out of storage and got it running. I was looking at using the Husqvarna SP33G chain (.325, 20”, 78 DL), but I can’t find anywhere that says if a Pferd or Stihl 2 in 1 sharpener will work on that chain. Husqvarna has their own x-cut sharpener and I’ve used Husqvarnas roller system before on some 3/8 chain, but not .325. I’ve been using a Pferd 2 in 1 on my 3/8 chains for my Echo CS-590 and Husqvarna 455 Rancher… I’m hooked on the 2 in 1! I have a bench grinder too, but I can clamp a saw in a vice and have it ready to go with the 2 in 1 in about the time it takes me to take a chain off and throw a new one on. I can get the SP33G chain for just over $14/chain, but idk if the 2 in 1 sharpener works either those…. I’ve read a couple places that the Husqvarna x-cut has a little different profile than standard chain.
