My kind of composer... awesome film from the Journal / Notebook team, they just keep getting better and better (says man wanting to win most biased post award on this page).
Christian Henson Music These visuals vignettes are very inspiring. I assume we will be seeing a full length musical documentary from “Spitfire Films” in the near future? (Hint Hint 😎)
Thank you so much for sharing this candid video 🙏 Chris Clark is one of the greatest living musicians and electronic producers. I’ve adored his music for 18 years now & it’s a privilege to experience
Last night I drove from Johannesburg to Pretoria while listening to Clark's "Death Peak" album. It was such a surreal experience seeing the highway lights whizz past and hearing thedance electro acoustic type sounds. Now I see that he is a TV/Film composer guy as well! So cool and inspiring!
Spitfire - you guys inspire me so much with the content that you're putting out there. I love that you all are focused on composers and the creative process - this is what keeps me coming back
Loved the film! It seems that his cello is some kind of early incarnation of the campanula cello. If you search for this you’ll find a cello with the same resonator setup, similar but not identical sides, and identical headstock. It’s a beautiful instrument... The lyrical quality of the cello combined with the resonance of an undampened piano. I’d absolutely love trying one.
@@Kevin_Kessels Thank you and yeh now obviously i know cause i posted my comment 2 years ago haha! A bit dissapointed by how it turned out. I mean Lambent Rag is great but i just wish he had kept that melody as it is here

His music is so unique
I'm So Glad There's No Dislikes, Because Who Would Dislike A Musician Like This?

Inspiring, love his music for so many years now
I think this is the most artisan and intimate edit you've done for a film so far. Loved it!
Clark is amazing - catch him live if you can.
What a really nice guy
Digging lambent rag. Awesome home studio

Just like everybody else: nothing original or inspired about the man or the work.
I did it! I found the most miserable guy!
No man, clark has the production and dynamics
