I in fact did psychedelic therapy using Jon Hopkins’ album ‘Music for Psychedelic Therapy’ and it truly was like entering different “worlds” through his music. And the way that album was crafted with no dead air- you just hear a sound that cues you that it is time to leave the place your in. You have enough time to say goodbye and be carried to the next world. It was an incredible experience. I was just astounded with this album and the way it integrated with the psychedelic experience.
I have to say I'm terrified of using psychedelics, despite suffering with anxiety and severe depression for most of my life. I've listened to electronic music since my early teens and have always found it at times relaxing, therapeutic and inspiring. I've always felt that perhaps i could get more from it, so I wrote my own stuff just for me but nothing along these lines, just melodies and bass and percussion. I still feel like I am missing something and perhaps I won't make it but the fear of letting go is encompassing.
I use Wavepaths as a psychedelic practitioner and I love Music for Psychedelic Therapy as well. Never knew that these were so interconnected. Deeply moving. And can’t wait for RITUAL to come out ❤

Incredible man
I love this episode and I love Jon Hopkins haha 😆✨
Sounds really incredible! But it would be nice if Jon could show us the details and tools that he uses.
@@pianoatthirty Thank you for letting me know! :-)
Super cool
Is there a video version on the entire podcast? On Spotify I seem to find only an audio version?
is the video version available on Spotify also?
Any reason why Jon is not screen sharing like Disclosure for example? 👀
any way to access the whole episode with video?
doesnt seem they do that, i go to spoitfy for full episode audio tho
Am I the only one who can’t find the whole episode on podcasts?)
@jon_hopkins_ Everything around you is actually infinitely larger than you think.
But it's hard to notice because so are you
