Been searching for a good video that showcases the kind of ebikes I'd be interested in, and this video undoubtedly delivered that. Great stuff, keep it up!
I just got the motor goat V3 in the black edition and it is honestly so worth it, especially for the price. It has so much power and the battery is very good. Honestly top ebike in its class right now.
I have the Ariel Rider Grizzly & none of the bikes in this video can climb hills like the Grizzly can. The dual 1000 watt motors, dual batteries & dual suspension makes it my favorite for on or off road. What it lacks in top speed (38 mph) it more than makes up for in hill climbing. Nice video 👍
@5lim.0 goat is a fine bike indeed. I think Ariel Rider needs to update their lineup to compete with some of these newer bikes coming out these days. I personally think they should make a model that's above the Grizzly and call it the Kodiak to compete with the Surrons and Talarias of the world. Then they could also come up with a smaller 1000w 20" folding model and call it the Cub. I kinda like the references to bears. I think they should keep that going.
The goat seems nice I don't know a lot about it but I see it come up often highly spoken of but the grizzly for me works better because it has better twerk and the dual wheel makes it better to use it in the snow just having front wheel drive by itself will allow you to use it in the snow but it's like having a four-wheel Drive equivalent to bikes making it a year-round bike but dress warm I suggest using electric heated gloves in vest or jacket

for fatbike style mopeds, the GO60 and GO62 motors from BAFANG are the best, with a 52v/30 amp controller from Acolyte, this gives you upto 160nm, 1800w, so you can see why many bikes have this motor, its also bombproof, once sealed, greased, and steel planetry gears fitted, the max you will see out of this sytem is 32mph, pefect for a moped style bike.

When I lived in a pretty flat area, the comfortable, real-world range was more like 20 miles; it could go further than that, but that's about when the battery gets low enough that the power drop is noticeable, and youll start getting concerned with just how much further it fan go before dying (and you dont wanna get stuck with a dead xclass, cuz it kinda sucks to pedal). Now that I live in a hillier area (and after a few years of use), I'm usually not comfortable counting on it for more than maybe 15 miles between charges. This discrepancy between states and real-world ranges probably holds true for most ebikes, but the X-Class is the only one I've ever owned, so the only one i can really speak to. It's still a great ebike! I just wouldn't count on actually getting that 40 miles of range (and I wouldn't count on using it without the throttle, either, because again, pedaling kinda sucks on the bike)

Also they have fully working turn signals front and rear. Goat bikes are also equipped to have a second battery option if you do choose to do so. I was shopping for a wired freedom when I came across someone who was selling a $2000 Onyx CTY2 with less than a mile on the odometer. It's hard for me to compare it to the competition, because it's the first e bike I've ever owned, but I'm starting to realize that it's more of a motorcycle than it is an e-bike, because it'll do 50 miles per hour with no problem, and while it has its quirks, it is more than capable when compared to $3,000+ eBikes. Now if I could only manufacture a seat that will comfortably hold my daughter and I, because riding with her is the whole reason I got an ebike to begin with.
there are a decent amount of passenger style ebikes, good amount of looks to choose from too if you care about that. and if it comes to lack of choice, you can still buy rear racks along with child seat kits. i done a decent amount of research so theyre for sure out there
Avoid Droog - Owner is a scam. He uses cheap Alibaba parts and charges ridiculous amount for labor. Paid him do work on my 72 Suzuki RV90, he said he was using quality parts, everything was cheap Chinese motor and harbor freight parts. Parts were less than $2k and charged me $12k for what. He made a few cheap motor mounts, and a horrible unsafe battery box. Wasted my money - saving you guys the trouble. Go with someone else. Avoid Droog Motorcycle - Max.
The only problem with Ariel Rider is their seats. Their seats are comfortable for maybe 15-30 minutes. After that, your butt starts hurting. I spent 300 bucks on JB custom made seat, well worth the purchase. Ive had the seat for a good 500 miles, still brand new. I highly recommend that if you buy any ariel rider bike, to leave 300-600 dollars for a comfy seat. It's an amazing bike. Just the seat is more important than you think.
I have the Samebike Pilot SE & SR, and they seem to be made in different factories (the welds, possibly motor, and frame are slightly different/upgraded on the SR) but out of the 14 e-bikes I own they are the most comfortable (engineered/balanced) to ride. The SR is the clear winner even better than my Bandit X-Trail Pro.
Not been following e-bikes a lot in past few years have 10 different models in family. However our first was a samebike lo26 circa 2018/9. Upgraded with rear air shock and cable pull hydraulic brakes. Sweet ride. In city/ level ground light enough to cycle without power. Often rode off forgetting to turn on battery. Live in a hilly place so the fit people in the family found it perfect. Sadly was stolen a few weeks ago however at that point it had near 20k on it and never needed anything other than pads and tyres. We’re only getting 500 miles on a set of pads because of all the hills. Now looking to replace however here in Ireland they have made it near impossible to legally ride an e bike in public. 25kg max weight including battery. 250w max power. Speed limited to 21 mph even coasting down a steep hill. The have these laws in place since last year however they are still trying to figure out how to implement them plus since we are in eu there was an intresting judgment in the European court on the designation of an e bike sadly in a case where a cyclist died in a crash. However that court ruled that once an ebike was fitted with pedals and no throttle it was same as a push bike no mention of power and weight. So have to see how it goes. Currently our top mileage bike is an MX02s and with change of jobs its weekly work commute is in region of 240 miles each week alone. So has without checking in region of 12k miles on it again no maintenance issues except pads ever 3 weeks however shortly hope to fix this issue by fitting motorcycle grade calipers with the larger pads. Think these have 10x pad material
The Ristretto looks good but I have Used that same motor before its a CYC gen 3 5000W mid drive I had with a 72 volt battery it is very easy to overheat that motor going up hills using more then 2000 watts and once it overheats lots of problems. Even after I fixed it the throttle would not respond, or worse it would go full power at random bursts without touching the throttle sending you out into traffic. I also snapped 4 bike chains on the 1st day owning that motor.
I got the Raev GT, & just ordered the GTX, for under $2,200 you got a 1kw emoto with 52v/28ah battery 4 piston brake, air shock in rear & a speed of over 35+mph. I think with either code SLOVE or REVOLT I saved $100
Your doing an excellent review job... Very clear & concise, spec wise, super informative. Plus, your passion for bikes, is truly noted... Great review.... Hats off to you man... Peace
Great review man! Really torn between the Bullet GTX, Revv1 and the X-class. All three are such solid bikes. Its amazing how fast the innovation is happening in this industry. Thanks for doing the research and putting it into a clear and concise vid!! And just to throw another bike into the mix..... Wondering if you or any of the viewers have looked at the Ghost Cat F2? and have any thoughts....or comparative analysis between the x3 bikes I mentioned. Ghost Cat "seems" like a real interesting blend of the moped style ebike and Suron style Edirtbike without $$$ price point. Thanks in advance
Can't go wrong with the Ride 1up... Great performance, very good value, and local customer service... The other brands may have 2 of these but not all 3!
Those rotors, though big, once they heat up they can snap and then warp. I've had it happen to me numerous times. Try the Magura heavy duty rotor it has additional support. Also, as someone who has owned numerous E-Bikes, the chain is the weak link, they stress and eventually start slipping. Start using Gates Belt Drives.
Check out this story a few months ago my medical took me to a place called Pacific eye because I need laser eye surgery right and I get there and because I'm so sensitive to light they couldn't read my eyes and then I walked into the office and said can you get my ride and they did everything they couldn't they couldn't so they left me 11.7 mi to my house and I'm disabled and I don't walk real well and as I was walking about 200 yards to Bear valley there was this square hole in the middle of the sidewalk and I fell in that hole and I ate s***because Pacific I put some stuff in my eyes and it blurred my eyes out so I couldn't see so now I created a lawsuit against Hesperia they never should have let me leave that building they should have called an Uber for me I will never trust United healthcare again f*** them take care and God bless
Ppl argiung over what is a moped is hilarious... 😁 mo=moterized, ped=pedals In my State you do not need a license or insurance to road travel on a moped ebike if it doesn't qualify in the way that the usual motorcyle or scooter does because it can move by pedaling and not just by motor function. If it's under 50 cc and less than 30mph. This type of motorized E bike can be road without having to register. A lot of ppl are buying ebikes because they are defined as a motorized bike that can not be taxed as a motorcycle or scooter.
What would you all recommend for beach sand riding? This looks like a great addition to getting around out on OBX which is a mixed of stone roads, packed wet sand and fluff sand depending on the day/hour/minute you happen to be out there
I did not know there was such of a variety of these things. hell, now I want one or two. I like the G-force, 60 miles is great. Ok I'm an oldfart, does anyone remember those pedals for mopeds that adjust to the center? back in the 60s or 70s, they had a button to unlock them, you know you had to pedal to start them, then you stop and adjust the pedals. so, you had pegs.
The dual motor, dual battery Meelod DK300 max... on sale for $1,600. I've watched a lot of videos. Wonder if this is the best moped style ebike for under $1,750. I need to buy 2 so thats my limit! This bike looks legit.
Would love to see you test the Roll Road Emma 3. Specs are almost identical to Revv1. It has two batteries standard and better suspension for a few hundred less. Doesn't have the bad boy CAFE Race look.
Oh yeah Ariel Rider is definitely the best this is my first bike so I'm not really sure about others but this thing has plenty of power and it will climb hills like no end dual motor dual battery the best way to go having that front motor is a 1000 Watts gives you that little more power to climb I think it makes a whole lot of more difference two-wheel drive wow 😲

Ariel Rider has 3 colors for X-class, Red, Blue and Black. 👍👍 Also, Lyric Voodoo looks like it's gonna be awesome, but, its not yet released.. that's still a few months from now.
im 350lbs and ive been riding a delfast top 3.0 for the last year. its not a moped but its been so amazing im able to get very good range on the bike with throttle only. ive been on 30 mile rides and still had over 76v out of 84.3 fullcharge its crazy. and its so comfortable i got a extremely good deal on fb market for 2600 when it only had 300 miles on it. it actually got me into ebikes. now here comes the moped. i was looking for something fun and comparable to the delfast so i was looking online and came across the lyric graffiti x in january. i fell in love everything checked the boxes i was looking for. power, style, comfort, and parts. the delfast is 72v 48ah battery. lg cells 3000w peak 6000w and has dnm rear suspension with 1000lb spring. now this is a 5500 dollar bike new. the lyric graffiti i got on presale for 3000 dollars and for some reason it does not have tax on ebikes so i didnt pay any taxes im in washington. such a steal for the specs on the bike. magura mt5e brakes. 3000w motor peak 7200w. 60v controller. 40ah battery. samsung cells. its just so nice. full color display etc. im absolutely in love i cannot wait for it to arrive in august. i just watched your review today. i was amazed with how much detail you go into. this channel has huge potential your very good at showing people everything they want to see. i would thought this channel had 300k subs or more. sorry for the long comment wish u nothing but the best in life. good content.
Oh man! Tough choice! It might come down to when you need the bike… the Goats are sold out and filling orders in may and June right now… The Revv1 is in stock and ready to go! Both great bikes! Honestly can’t go wrong with either one.👌🏻

Man Brother. Thank you thank you. What a great help. This was wonderful. Have any best suggestions for Moped e bikes that do best in the rain ? I Live in Vancouver, Canada ( rainforest ). Thx man. I subbed
I dont care for super fast eBikes (I'll just ride my motor bike) I do like a bike that's easy to maintain and is reliable, and I can just ride around the trail, and the development.
Ebikes are so much better than gas powered bikes for short commutes because you can park them in your office and then everybody wants to talk about gas prices when they see it
One of the best videos I have ever seen regarding moped electric bikes. Easy to watch, great content. Great job and thanks for the info! Will be pulling the trigger on the motor goat soon.
Thx for the kind words! Consider helping me out by clicking on the link in the video when you do pull the trigger! Free way for you to support the new channel! Thx brother!🤜🏼🤛🏼
Not to be that person in the comments hating, but for the amount of money that these cost you could build a super powerful stealth bomber clone ebike. And I get that a lot of people just want to buy a bike and not have to build it, but it still just seems like a waste of money speeding thousands on a pretty basic ebike that you will still have to pedal if you want to go at a reasonable speed.
Not everybody is knowledgeable or skilled enough to be building an ebike. I don't think the "average" consumer should be messing with all the batteries and wiring and all that. Pre-made bikes are best for "most" people. Ebikes already have a bad enough rep as it is. The last thing we need is more people who don't know what they're doing trying to DIY and inevitably mess something up. All it takes is one.
Also do what others mentioned. The Bombers/Surron/Talarias are gonna get cracked down on hard. Everybody knows it. To many people acting a ass on it. When u ride them they are screaming to get stopped by police. These bikes can atleast look like a regular bike.
Fantastic video. Well done. Subscribed. Can you do a similar video for the best "bicycle-style" e-bikes that have a throttle (e.g. the Ride1Up Gravel Roadster v2)?
Hi there I am looking to purchase my first ebike and I really like the ride1up revv and I'm wondering if this is a good option for shorter riders and good for all road back gravel roads and some hill climbs. I live in Montana and will be doing a mix of in town and mountain dirt trails. Would this be a good option for me or are cafe racer style bikes not suited for this?
The bike is amazing at hills, super powerful, and great for short riders. I’m 5’9” and can touch the ground flat footed. Tires are better suited for road but are more than capable off-road and can be swapped later on if you want something more aggressive. Get it! You won’t be disappointed!🤘🏻 If you decide to order one… consider using my link in the description, it helps me build a better partnership with the brands to bring awesome people like you more bikes and content!🤜🏼🤛🏼
Just being pedantic, but when you mention that the Ristretto is legal on any bike path, in any city around the world at 20mph, we're stuck in the Stoneage in the UK and our limit is 15.5mph and 250w.
Hey Just subscribed I’m new to the world of EBike coming from Klein mountain bike. I would like Support American Made. Looked at Super73 but they pricey I like the Ride 1up or Raev . It’s going to be one of these. My concern is warranty support, delivery. Excellent tutorial
Worry not! They’re local in the US so warranty is swift and as for delivery, they use a freight service. Those guys don’t mess around, they call you to schedule the drop off and the bike has its own truck! It gets hand delivered to you and you sign for it! Top notch!
Was this a bike that you built?
Dont forget the Ghostcat Bike! Gonna be a beast bike 40mph!

I got the Raev GT, & just ordered the GTX, for under $2,200 you got a 1kw emoto with 52v/28ah battery 4 piston brake, air shock in rear & a speed of over 35+mph.
I think with either code SLOVE or REVOLT I saved $100

Everyone is talking about moped style. I like it. Search for "Casal II, sashs...". Thats the style the are basing on.... Thats beatifull
Super 73 way to expensive
And underperforming you get way more from Raev for 2199
Not to mention they don’t have any durability or reliability. The only reason people buy them is for the brand name and looks
Rumble Motors Apex comes with more power than the Super 73
The fluffy thing on your microphone is a windsock used for reducing wind noise. Its not necessary other than for that. Nice work

Samebike Pilot SR $2000; way better than half your picks

Those rotors, though big, once they heat up they can snap and then warp. I've had it happen to me numerous times. Try the Magura heavy duty rotor it has additional support. Also, as someone who has owned numerous E-Bikes, the chain is the weak link, they stress and eventually start slipping. Start using Gates Belt Drives.
This was great. Well done

I like this guy, he didn't say "wassup" or "badass". Not annoying. Great
Ppl argiung over what is a moped is hilarious... 😁 mo=moterized, ped=pedals
In my State you do not need a license or insurance to road travel on a moped ebike if it doesn't qualify in the way that the usual motorcyle or scooter does because it can move by pedaling and not just by motor function.
If it's under 50 cc and less than 30mph. This type of motorized E bike can be road without having to register. A lot of ppl are buying ebikes because they are defined as a motorized bike that can not be taxed as a motorcycle or scooter.
What would you all recommend for beach sand riding? This looks like a great addition to getting around out on OBX which is a mixed of stone roads, packed wet sand and fluff sand depending on the day/hour/minute you happen to be out there
This is what I came here to ask.
Cheers Craig! Thx for taking the time to comment!
Sadly I wasn't around in the 70s😂
The dual motor, dual battery Meelod DK300 max... on sale for $1,600. I've watched a lot of videos. Wonder if this is the best moped style ebike for under $1,750. I need to buy 2 so thats my limit! This bike looks legit.

im 350lbs and ive been riding a delfast top 3.0 for the last year.
its not a moped but its been so amazing im able to get very good range on the bike with throttle only. ive been on 30 mile rides and still had over 76v out of 84.3 fullcharge its crazy. and its so comfortable i got a extremely good deal on fb market for 2600 when it only had 300 miles on it. it actually got me into ebikes. now here comes the moped. i was looking for something fun and comparable to the delfast so i was looking online and came across the lyric graffiti x in january. i fell in love everything checked the boxes i was looking for. power, style, comfort, and parts.
the delfast is 72v 48ah battery. lg cells 3000w peak 6000w and has dnm rear suspension with 1000lb spring. now this is a 5500 dollar bike new.
the lyric graffiti i got on presale for 3000 dollars and for some reason it does not have tax on ebikes so i didnt pay any taxes im in washington.
such a steal for the specs on the bike. magura mt5e brakes.

*Pro Detroit Tip* : _The cooler your bike looks, the sooner your bike lock is cut. Buy none of these_ Be a real man & build a Mid Drive Bafang. Nobody wants to steal a stolen bike. Also keep a slip of paper in the seat tube with your name on it for police.
*_Prices are with tax & shipping_* : Samsung 30AH 35A BMS = 420$ -- Bafang BBS02 52t chainring kit with 500C screen = 465$ -- *Upgrades* : Dual crown 4.5 inch travel COIL fork = 200$ -- Zoom quad piston hydraulics 203mm = 120$ -- Rear 10 inch hydraulic dampened coil shock DNM 2 & 3/4 inch travel = 140$ -- Zoom seat post suspension = 25$ ------ 885$ + 485$ = 1370$. Way cheaper and my bike sh*ts on all of these.

I dont care for super fast eBikes (I'll just ride my motor bike) I do like a bike that's easy to maintain and is reliable, and I can just ride around the trail, and the development.
Ebikes are so much better than gas powered bikes for short commutes because you can park them in your office and then everybody wants to talk about gas prices when they see it
What about Movcan?? They have Ebikes well under $1000. They have 1000 and 1500 wt motors. They have many amenities and are very comfortable to ride

Yeah another Revv1 owner!! I run the MOUS mounts and the one on my Revv1 is the stem top cap mount.👌🏻
Yo my Ride1Up Revv1 should be arriving any day now so this is helpful thank you so much for helping me pick a bike.
Moped style is the key word. You don't have to pedal these bikes to hit top speed. The pedals are just so you look legal
Definitely but very few people have the time and know how….
Stealth Bombers are UGLY... not everyone just wants SPEED and could care less of what the bike looks like.
Subscribed good info brother

would you recommend the dynalion k7-2?
Get it! You won’t be disappointed!🤘🏻
