One of the many handhelds you already own would surely be more convenient for your user case, but everyone is free to do what they prefer with their money.
@@torom86 totally agree. Now, when I do plug it in and play in bed it’s an absolute BEAST. Max settings and resolution on everything. Super high FPS. It truly is a great machine. The G16 with the new Ryzen AI HX 370 with the 890 integrated graphics and 4070 will be coming out at the end of this month. I’ll be getting that as well. Can’t wait to review that one.
@@GamerVsTech I really don't get what you do with all those devices, I only need 1 😆 In fact I'd love to get this one but I want to wait for next generation as I need something with AT LEAST 12GB VRAM (current models with the 4080 are way too expensive) for it to be future proof for at least 5 years. I don't want to pay €2k for a premium laptop just for it to struggle with 4k resolution (as I have a 4k TV) and be obsolete in a couple of years.
@@torom86 the new g16 with the new Ryzen ai hex 370 cpu with 890 integrated graphics and 4070 is coming out at the end of this month. I think that will be the best device considering the price for 32gb at $2200 USD.
HAHA but you are right. I have way too many devices. Most of them I upgrade and sell o and move onto the next one. Some I keep.
Bro can u pls help I have a 4060 and 16 g ram version and ı cant change the colors of keyboard
@@jondoe297_ are you using armoury crate or ghelper?
@@GamerVsTecharmoury crate
@@jondoe297_ hmm. I’ve never had that problem. But Armourycrate can be buggy. You can try using the Armoury Crate uninstal tool from Asus website. Then reinstall. If it doesn’t work after that I’d suggest doing a clean install of windows.
@@GamerVsTech Okay thanks
I wanna buy the version with the 4060
0:06 asus rog strix :skull:
lol I know. No sleep with the baby. My brain wasn’t working.
Why do you use 1080p??
@@JoonKimDMD my review was strictly on battery. So lowering the resolution allowed me to game with higher refresh rates and graphics settings.
@@GamerVsTechand lastly the max res from display itself is up to 1600p aka 2.5k? Not able to run 4k? And for a small screen like this laptop is it necessary gaming in 4k?
@@dagreatkahn no not a 4k screen. No for a small screen like this 4k is way overkill. I usually set game resolution to 1200p and it’s perfect.
@@GamerVsTech ahhh gotcha thanks mate, so far have you encountered any hardware issue or performance issue with fps dropping while gaming while unplugged?
Lastly please share another follow up video how you like with the laptop after running aaa games intensively from full battery till 20%, just wondered if there will be dropping on fps due to thermal /heat issue and if you can get >1 hour ?
Thank you and enjoyed watching the review you explained in the video
@@dagreatkahn yes. I even thought that I bricked the software a few times and did a few clean install. But it was a combination of driver issues. I have found that the more you use the g14 things tend to get better and smoother. But since the last bios update and nvidia driver everything is running smooth.
Beware it's 144 refresh rate stops working in one year and display gets distorted. Now mine working on 60 hz only
Have you had the G14 2024 for a year?
use ghelper
R O G not ROG
didnt know that been revealed
Why does new content creators show more face they should show more off a product
nice machine, but terrible trackpad, isn't responsive enough, not matter how you configure it it and it is only clickable towards the lower part, ( which i could understand if it had physical buttons ). so overall for productivity without an external mouse it is not a good fit. better go with Lenovo's
I kind of agree. The mouse pad feels a little clunky. I’ll be doing a productivity video soon and this will be one of the points I talk about. It feels nice to the touch but clicking feels very unnatural.
still wait for Lenovo releasing slim, lightweight laptop with RTX like G14 2024 😢
@@fishqwq I’ve test quite a few Lenovo slim devices. They are very nice.
@@fishqwq There's the 14" Legion Slim 5. Look up some comparisons with that but it's gotten really good reviews.
