Thanks so much for sharing your experience with PB. I may just give it a try. Can you share the name of the tea company. I love how the bags are in the shape of a dress. It's a good book club treat to share. I look forward to seeing your other videos.
I'm so glad I stumbled on your channel! I just heard of PB, I've been selling books online for 3 years now. And omg those tea dresses are just so fairy cute. Yes FAIRY cute.
I’m so happy I found this video! I have really been wanting to sell some of my books on the app. I’m not looking to earn a ton, but if I can make some money instead of just giving them away, thats a win for me! 😊
They recommend at least 50% off the list price. So I start there and decide whether it should go up or down based on popularity and the condition of the book.
@goodgravy3047 I just chose a price that seems like it will give me a justifiable return. Books just under $5 seem popular because of the frequent Pango $5 coupons. Otherwise I find new books priced cheaper than Amazon sell well.
be aware that although you don't want to be a "business" if you sell over $600 worth of books in a year you will receive a 1099 tax form from the site and will have to claim the income on your tax return.
If you look in your app on your store page there’s a button that says “Earnings.“ When a book sells you’ll see an amount there either listed as available or pending. Earnings are pending for 3 days after successful delivery and then they are made “available.” You can withdraw your earnings via PayPal, Direct Deposit, OR you can just use it as “pango bucks” toward your own purchases through the app!
Great content.

How do you decide what to price the books?

@@BookBarrista thanks for your response!
@@BookBarristaSo what average price did you sell them at? I've seen books priced at $3 and less just sit there for a long time.

you can check other listings to see what others have the same book listed at if you want to be competitive with your pricing(more likely to sell)

How do we get paid when a book sells

What apps are your favorite to sell books on and why?
I only have experience with this one. :) Back in the day (before apps) I used Half.com, but since then I’ve just donated my used books until now.
@@BookBarrista , oh I see..tysm for sharing 🌹
