It’s 20% across the board - that’s fine -- the shipping labels - that’s great - like I said , Pango is new and it can take a long time for a sale … last week I had 4 sales … sometimes it takes a while -
Thanks for all the helpful information. When I sold on Poshmark, I would schedule a pickup with my post office on the USPS website and I could set the orders on my porch and the post office would pickup for free. I never had to leave my home to ship off my orders.
@@treniece111 I only did it for big orders. Ones that can’t fit in my mailbox. But I will look into it since going to Post Office is a big hassle for me. Thank you for telling me about this! 🫶
Hear hear, re picture taking! 👏🏾🍻👍🏾 Definitely the spine too.. I never buy without seeing the spine. Not the end of the world of course, but i ain't buyin'.
Recently someone mentioned about taking pictures of the paperback spines. Because they got a book and the spine was cracked. So agree! Since then, I have been doing my best to take pictures of the spine now
Is it worth it? Is not really a question, it’s completely free. It takes about a minute to list most books that have the barcode on the back. The problem is that the high shipping that they charge a lot of people get discouraged after they put it in their cart… I have about five cart notifications per day and may be about three sales a week. It’s nice that Pot takes care of all the shipping so I don’t have to figure out or charge any of that and overall it is worth it because I throw all of my value books that the companies do not buy back from Me into this so it cannot hurt
That is tough to say. I had a mix of both conditions bought from my bookstore. I personally feel that it has to have minor flaws and you are very open about it for them to feel good about purchasing for whatever price you are asking for of the book.

It's not completely free lol?
I'm new to pango books 😊
what does it mean
when someone has add a book to their private book self? Thank you so much
Private bookshelf is like a wishlist on PangoBooks.
If not Pango, what other selling options are there (excluding the obvious…eBay, Amazon, etc)?
So there is AbeBooks.com that is a good platform. I have not tried it myself but I heard it is just as good.
ABE, Biblio, Alibris, Mercari..
Fb marketplace
How important do you think condition is in people's buying decisions?
Are they willing to pay more for a book in excellent condition vs good?

Is it hard to get those first few sales??
It took a month to get a few sales at first.
I do a discount but not free shipping , but keep a good price on them
I have been debating on the free shipping. I feel like it really eats into my profit
@@BooktrovertReader I think I really does I use most of what I make to just buy more … I have more people buy like single books but I don’t mind it
Not sure it’s worth it been on there like two months and zero sales
So sorry that your experience has been like that!
