It was so nice to see PD smile and laugh and have realisations during this reaction. Kinda similar to what PD said, it's so powerful when a song or performance can make you think 'wow I needed this' or 'I didn't know I needed this', like you finally let go of a breath you didn't realise you were holding. BSS really highlighted that with 'Fighting' and 'Second Wave'.
The best description of the role this song played in my life is “I didn’t know I needed this” Lmaoo
I live in Korea and this cb has been everywhere. One of my labmates (I'm a grad student at KAIST) turned to me one of these days "I heard that happiness doesn't come from grades but from BooSeokSoon". Another labmate, upon hearing me talk about my experience seeing Hoshi live for the first time at Caratland, asked me "oh, so your bias is from BSS?". It's been playing everywhere in restaurants, convenience stores, even the other tracks they released. So overall it was amazing to witness that, as a Hoshi-biased carat who loves BSS!
I feel like this M/V was exactly what we needed. I feel like kpop has been I guess so much more “serious” in a sense and I just love fun kpop. You can tell how much they enjoyed filming and making this.

Hoshi said in the interview with Suga that they (BSS) just want to have fun and give everyone especially carats the positive energy. They don't really want to care about the results and all thats why you can see them being shocked from time to time everytime they win on music shows. They're genuinely just want to have fun and enjoy this comeback. I love them so much for that!!!!
Their album name "Second Wind" actually means a lot-
"Second Wind used to describe the phenomena of magically gaining significant energy and strength during distance running at a stage when the runner feels out of breath or that he or she appears to reach a fatigued state and the feeling of not being able to continue."

Their album starts with Fighting which you can listen in the morning, Lunch during afternoon, and 7pm in the evening. It's really so good, a well-planned comeback with incredible intention. BSS came back just on time when we needed it the most! 5 years? Worth the wait.

'Fighting' both the song and MV is so fun, light-hearted, and theatrical that it feels like I'm experiencing a musical and BSS is the trio of the show - like I truly feel as if I'm in an audience watching a musical production command a massive stage with so much energy, it's really refreshing

this is tbh my first time properly listening to a SEVENTEEN song and i'm glad i did! this is such an important topic right now and i'm glad a group that's this popular is adressing it, while everyone else is doing grind culture songs like "I'm so cool look what i got because i work nonstop" and its pretty annoying

I had no idea how badly korean needed this song, and now I understand why woozi was so confident about this album doing well, and booseoksoon energy is definitely one of the reasons as well. In fact, I enjoy a song because of the lyrics, so it's great that koreans enjoy and appreciate it as well. Everyone deserves this uplifting spirit, thus I hope we can see another booseoksoon comeback soon :)

The comment about SVT coming into your life whenever you need them...I really relate. They released Heng:garae during a personally difficult time and the lyrics were exactly what I needed to hear. Semicolon was as I was getting back into things, Face the Sun in a moment of strength, change, and progress,...and then this dropped right as I'm struggling to motivate myself to write my senior thesis! They are so special for living such unusual lives and still finding a way to make music that gets everyone through all kinds of struggles...that's why no one can top them for me
Theater group + healing group = Seventeen.
I agree that this is a very quintessential seventeen song and even more so in tune with booseoksoon's brand. Seventeen always gave us songs that cheer us up like clap, left and right, home run, just do it, kidult, circle and a lot more. But they made the perfect decision to save this song for bss which is a subunit that consist of energetic members. I love the message of this song so much. I think that's why it gains a lot of attention by korean netizens and got a lot of wins
From the day I discovered BTS for the first time I also found Seventeen, and have loved them ever since. Over time they went from being my second favourite to my clear favourite. SVT Fighting. Oh, and in case you do not know about it, BSS performed a double bill of ‘Fighting’ and ‘just do it’ at the circle music awards, you have to see it, [reaction or not] they blew the roof off the place.
It's when you find out, and spot, little details after watching the mv a few times (like Woozi being the kart rider or Seungkwan chasing the coffee that Young-Ji yeets) ...it just gets better and better ♡♡♡♡

This has been such a healing song for me. Last year one of my best friends passed away very unexpectedly in hospital, followed by my dad a few months later. Grief is a really overwhelming feeling and this song is such a breath of fresh air. I really needed it.

I found seventeen in June 2020 during Left & Right era. Then Fall 2020 became the worst time of my life, and then Semi Colon album came out. I heavily relied on that album. I don’t think I’d be in the improved mental state I am today if it wasn’t for the comfort, healing, and escapism that SVT gifted to me. I’m forever grateful to this group, and they will continue to be my number 1 group. There is something about them that is so passionate, driven, loving, and wholesome. I follow/listen to many groups in the Korean music industry, but this group is just different in the best way possible.

gosh what a treat, thank you for your review and happy belated birthday! As I was watching this reaction I started to think about this MV more and more and like it's just too good. All of the videos highlighting the lyrics are fantastic. The Beethoven and plenty more pages left to play lines from Youngji (i'm assuming she's talking about sheet music) and then cutting off the music to bring in the piano was just so, so nice. Another thing is Hoshi's development as a singer. It's been acknowledged by the members a LOT (and we saw it with Spider) how hard Hoshi has worked to not just be a great dancer but a great vocalist too, and to see him be the one to belt out that amazing high note in a small group where the other two members are the MAIN VOCALISTS of svt was really inspirational and I think really nicely wrapped up the meaning of this song. Almost everything w/ SVT is always so... juvenile. And they have the youngest fandome age-wise which is mind-boggling considering them being a 3rd Gen group. GoSe is entertainment created solely for 8 year olds in mind by grown men who act like a bunch of wholesome 12 year olds.
