heya, main dev of EOA Eternal here, i randomly felt the urge to just check out the doom community once more after years of having dropped all doom related stuff, and iam very happy and glad to see people are still enjoying my mod! despite me having left it in an unfinished and rather poor state despite my best of intentions, it is nice knowing people are still having fun with it despite it being sloppy after all this time, thanks for featuring my mod and all the kind words!
I actually remember playing all the Doom 2016 GZDoom mods back when I did not have a powerful enought PC or console to play the actual thing, managed to play about 40 hours on my brother's PC later on Now I have like 100+ hours on Eternal on both Xbox and PC so it feels nice to return to what the community cooked up in the meantime
I like EOA, but I have sprites bugs in the Eternal addon. But addonless EOA has not got some visual bugs. If you looking for "Doom eternal in doom 2" also try EOA without addons. Thats really cool mod. Cool video))
Any chance any of these are gonna get ports for the KEX version? Played with Doom4Doom and loved it and have been wanting DE Weapons packs for the KEX port
@PotaTOOM.Official the new Nightdive remaster with Legacy Of Rust. It has a full mod launcher so folks on console can play mods now (PC is still better off with just GZDoom or ZDoom or whatever. )

The only bad thing about the doom eternal mod is that if you jump up on a ledge or vault over an obstacle, the game for some reason goes down to 5 fps. Anyone know how to fix that?
- Eternal suffering wasnt mentioned - Eoa is totally not close to doom eternal, look at amount of armor after using flame belch. It also has broken asf balance. Better to play dead ascension because it isnt really trying to recreate 1 : 1 mechanics so it doesnt fuk up in every single aspect of gameplay like eoae does. - If you have mentioned brutal pack, why not mentioning project brutality? Gk addon which adds fps glory kills, crucible, blood punch, shoulder cannon. It is just more than brutal pack can offer
yeah I guess my nostalgia with eoa influence my video but then again all of this are just my opinion when regards to project brutality I didn't mention it because almost everyone in this planet knows brutal doom and pb I think they are staple of doom modding that I think there is no reason to put them in every single video everyone knows them and I want to highlight some lesser known mods

@@PotaTOOM.Official The mod that drops the framerate, is it making your gpu usage go up to 100%? The cpu should be fine since gzdoom only uses one core apparently. 4300g is a 4core 8 thread cpu if im not mistaken with decent single core performance.
I mean they are more tactical in gameplay mechanics but graphics wise they are far away from realism so again if gameplay wise I'll try and make a video about realism graphics wise is kinda hard when doom is sprite base models

And since gzdoom sucks, because it loads your system memory with tons of crap that should not exist in the first place, there is no way I'm gonna play all of these mods. Sure, it might be good port for mods creation but in terms of it's technical aspect and optimization, it sucks big time. Thus why I hate it. And nobody can change my opinion on the subject, until gzdoom team decided to fix their crap and make it actually work as it should work, and not as they want.
I mean personally I've never ran into any issues, but I don't map or make mods or any of that but for what it is gzdoom runs well on my laptop (which is extremely under-powered) and I enjoy my time, but I was wondering since you brought it up kinda, is there any other like port that handles mods better than gzdoom (and zandrium since I already know about that) that you use personally? Or not necessarily handles but like doesn't take up a bunch of memory or something? You know just curious what you use instead you know? But anyways you have a good rest of your day/night whatever
when it comes to mod compatibility gzdoom wins but if you want a low spec friendly port that still supports most mods lzdoom and gzdoom gles build might be helpful
