I think its so funny how one of the most evil, sordid, reprehensible non supernatural organizations in golarion is just a big corporation. Like, they're just nestle.
😂

What a delightful group of jerks! I know who I can use as the big bads in a Pathfinder game.
I had genuinely forgotten that faction videos were s thing! Now I’m looking forward to a video on the Eagle Knights.
That one's not far off now ;-)
Hey man. Really want to say that your channel has quickly become one of my favourites on TH-cam for Pathfinder lore. Enjoy your approach to organising the various regions and topics in ways that flow narrativly well and help straighten out timelines and relationships between characters and events that get a bit jumbled in the official material.
Easily up there amongst the great lore channels of many other franchises such as DnD and Elder Scrolls.
Cheers!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Agreed, the level of organization makes this channel one of the best for researching whatever topic strikes your fancy.
Faction video! These are always very inspirational. You can just give the factions homebrewed names and toss em into your own lore and world building.
I like that
I LOVE ALL MYTHKEEPER VIDEOS!
Haha! I LOVE THIS COMMENT!
I appreciate the faction videos and look forward to more! I enjoy all of your videos even though I don't currently play Pathfinder.
I guess this means you’re working on a video for the Pathfinder Society. Can’t wait for that one.
I am, but its still a little ways out. ;-)
If I get to keep my job after this friday's exam, i'll subscribe on patreon dang it, this channel is such good escapism
Keep them coming, Myth Keeper. Excellent work as always!
Thanks, will do!
You have mentioned them quite often in your videos, but I never got a grasp of how powerful they actually are until I saw this video. They seem like an interesting faction, and this video gave me an idea for a storyline that I thought would just be a one-shot, so thanks for the inspiration. And Thanks for all the Work you put into these.
You're very welcome, thanks for watching!

I'm just astonished by the depth of knowledge you have and share... Blows my mind.
Well I don't know all of this stuff off the top of my head! I do have to do research when I put together these videos. 😂
@@TheMythKeeper hahaha yeah, that makes sense. It's still pretty wild to me, even that all this stuff is out there.
great video, this faction give a lot of inspiration for antagonist or even patron for adventurers.
Couldn't agree more!
thank you for your faction series! so many new informations (at least for me) and adventure hooks.
You're very welcome. These have proven more difficult than my creature feature videos, but not as difficult as my region deep dives. Its a happy balance here.
My favorite antagonists! great video
Thank you!
You do excellent work, another killer vid. These guys remind me of the mega corps from Cyberpunk.
When they eventually do Punkfinder 6077, I'm sure the Aspis Consortium will still be around and doing mega corp shenanigans.
I just introduced this organization in my Mummy's Mask game. I'm running as enemies of the two Elven siblings, so this came out just in time for me to get more educated! Thank you!
That is awesome!
It has been fun. A player of mine follows your channel, so I can't really deep into it. Lol. But I absolutely love your videos, and I would love to see videos from your own perspective in your games.
@@justinmuze1185 No fair enough! Thanks for sharing all the same
These videos are awesome. Super helpful for GM prep!
Glad to hear it!
Great to see more Pathfinder 2nd edition lore.
I like to think of it all as second edition lore! The two editions are the same setting, just a few years apart ;-)
@@TheMythKeeperI figured! Trying to use certain words to amplify what I care about.
This is relevant to a current character of mine, so cool.
Love all your vídeos. Shout-out to dungeoncraft and professor DM for the tips on how to help "non scandal" TTRPGs videos
Thank you!
A very informative video,I liked the organizational structure part
The fantasy part here is that they haven't replaced all the monarchs yet.
To be fair, that took a long time to happen in our world as well. And in the Pathfinder world, the aristocrats had the time to get really good at magic, which is hard to beat, even with lots of moneys.
@@TheMythKeeper nothing more magical than artillery. The moment they get their wizard Napoleon they can go for it. It's a campaign just waiting to be written.
@@yaelz6043When you find out 50 countries out of 200 are monarchies, oligarchies or dictatorships. With at least as many having actual aristocrats
@@muhammadedwards8425 irrelevant. They answer to the business world, not the other way around.
You don’t need to replace monarchs if you already own them.
This has been on my shortlist ones I've been waiting for.
Had to pull in content from a _lot_ of different sources to pull this one together. A lot of Aspis content is buried deep in PFS adventures. Hopefully worth the effort here.
@@TheMythKeeper Was it hard to find information on this secret organization? 😅
Well done, as always. Especially being able to show the scale of the Aspis Consortium on a map!
Oh another faction video! Amazing! Thanks once more for your work and all the effort.
Yes and more coming soon!
This is genuinely a video I’ve been waiting for a while it was so good, nothing makes for a better villian like rampant capitalism
Glad the work on this one paid off :-)
I think it's funny that the Consortium is so good at being greedy corporate bureaucrats that they were mostly able to outmaneuver a nation basically run by the devil.
Also, the girl in the thumbnail kind of looks like an elseworld Zelda from Breath of the Wild.
Like an evil, greedy Zelda!
This is great! So is there an Aspis Consortium in Absolom ? or is that dominated by the Pathfinder Society ?
The Aspis Consortium definitely has influence in Absalom, and I'll discuss this in more detail in my Absalom deep dive video, but it doesn't maintain a large office there and manages its affairs more covertly thanks to the influence of the Pathfinder Society. One of the things it does do however, is collude with the Kortos Consortium, another trade alliance, with a lot of local power in the Starstone Isles. Both the Aspis Consortium and the Kortos Consortium are funding the New Absalom political party that wants to raise taxes on land but lower tariffs on goods, benefitting the merchant class and hurting the noble houses. More detail on these dealings when that video comes out in a month or so.
Golarians version of Mckinsey & Company.
Also I bet the Kalistocracy in Druma are friendly withthe Consortium
Yes sir, you bet they are ;-)
Well, now that we've covered their biggest rival, it seems only natural that the next faction guide being one for the Pathfinder Society, no?
Unfortunately its going to be Eagle Knights, then Hellknights, _then_ Pathfinder Society. Its *SO* big. I needed time.
@TheMythKeeper I mean that's fair, it's the games namesake after all, I'm sure there's a huge amount of detail there to go through.
My dwarf wizard had a very sordid past
Is it because the elf behind you kept stealing artifacts she wasn't supposed to?
Fun fact! Google translated your comment for me to "I hate the wasp company"
Don’t we all. 😆
Could you do a video on the arcane academies and magic schools?
Yeah, this is totally something I want to do actually
ka-ching ka-ching ka-ching
I was looking for katapesh and i noticed you havent uploaded katapesh but i guess Its been done by others
Katapesh is coming very soon!
5 more vids to be exact ;-)
I always liked the Consortium, much more than the Pathfinders.
Well their do-good brothers will be up on the channel too in the not so distant future ;-)
Do skelm please
So it's literally a fantasy version of the world economic forum. Also the spy mistress seem to have a Carmen sandiego vibe
That Carmen Sandiego thing I think is a direct reference 😅
@@TheMythKeeper Inspires me to make a more direct reference NPC who is a Investigator for the Pathfinder Society who the PCs occasionally have to make sure she doesn't get in over her head
Can you talk about the Pathfinder society itself? If you already did a video can you provide the link?
Very soon... its still coming...
@@TheMythKeeper Thanks! Looking forward to it.
Is there anywhere I can access the images you are using in this video?
I'm not dumping all the image assets from my videos into a fileshare or anything like that. Even if I did, I have probably thousands of images now on my hard disk, and they're poorly named and not very searchable (which is a symptom of my overall disorganization). BUT, you can always screenshot something if you like the image, grab it off the screencap and do a 'search by image' on google. You can also use a tool like Adobe Express to rip the background off an image as well.
Can you do skelm
I'll put it on the list ;-)
Paizo slapping "ex-slavers, but actually diverse now" on every antagonist in PF2...
I don't think you have done pathfinder society lore yet.
That's right, look for it soon though!
@@TheMythKeeper Awesome. I love your work, I am new to Pathfinder and honestly had Pathfinders world existed 30 years ago when I got into D&D I would have probably played it more than Cyberpunk 2020.
@@louhodo5761 Yeah I've been playing since roughly 2008 and its been a great ride. Almost 16 years now.
@TheMythKeeper when I compare it to D&D, pathfinder is more grounded in reality while staying very fantasy. It is richly diverse without trying to force it down your throat. And you don't have to worry about a campaign module coming out that takes place 100 years before or after your character was dead or even born. Elves are different than any other elves which I like... and I HATE elves in every other setting. And the dwarves all don't have Scottish accents.
The IRS of Golarion
Let's be honest here, the Consortium is WOTC.
😂
I hate the aspis consortium
If you don't hate your villains, you're doing villains wrong ;-)
Dude pulled a rock out of the ocean and became a God... 🤿
People think Aroden had a plan. I think he just went for a swim and got lucky...
The Padisha Empire of the West?! Truly Shai Hulud‘s reach knows no bounds. 🪱🏜️
The number of teams I say west when I mean east and visa versa is unreal.
