@@TheMythKeeper Looking forward to all of these Amazing deep dives. But why a Varisia Part 2? The first one, one of your earliest videos, was an awesome video.
@@rune5916 Because my approach to Deep Dives changed after making that one. That video basically just covers 4 cities, but there's a lot of detail around many more points of interest. Basically Varisia P2 will be the Varisia Gazetteer.

Congrats on the 100 milestone! As someone who has only ran homebrew campaign settings, but are currently seriously considering using Golarion for my next campaign - your channel has been a godsend. Your hard work is very much appreciated. Here's to 100 more! 🥳
The transition from homebrew to official setting feels daunting at first as a GM, because you feel like you have to know everything about the world. You don't. What you don't know, you make up. Every single game of Pathfinder out there is at least slightly homebrew, but weirdly playing in the 'official' world, if you do it right, will make your players feel like what they're doing actually matters. Your version of reality, will be the true reality of the Pathfinder world, and everyone else just doesn't know it yet.
@@TheMythKeeper Very true, and very good advice. It was precisely that initial feeling of having to know everything that kept me from using Golarion. But your videos, as well as a more thorough reading of The Inner Sea World Guide, opened my eyes to just how packed the setting is of potential plot hooks (or just background rumors for the PCs to discover and make the world feel that much more alive.) It's a stark contrast to other published campaign settings that feel more like a geographical layout where the GM has to work to fill in all the blanks.
Finally, I love this and have been waiting for it for a while! I’m thinking of running a pathfinder campaign and I think I will just rewatch your videos for research so keep going!
Thank you for this video. I have been playing in PFS games the last few months and really didn't understand what the society was in game. I got it, but not really. Anyhow, this helped a ton.
Would be great to see video game for management of some small pathfinder lodge somewhere in Gollarion wilderness. Owlcat games - we looking on you) CRPG with management elements - same genre for them but with new idea within same world.
Hello MythKeeper! First I want to state that I love your videos, and very much appreciate the work you do. Second, as a partially deaf person, I would very much appreciate if you could put "proper" English subtitles on your videos. I assume you are reading from a script and this wouldn't be too much additional effort - if this assumption is incorrect - then no worries. the auto-generated captions don't capture the Pathfinder related names quite well, and I find them hard to follow with their weird word by word appearance (does anyone know if this is possible to change automatically? perhaps a Chrome Extension?). anyway keep up the good work! Signed - S
Thank you for the feedback. I'll explore my options for this again. I did try in an early video to paste in the script, and the system couldn't match the script to the audio file. The only way to fix this is to go in and edit the generated text file. I can do this copy/paste sentence by sentence, but not with larger blocks, so it ends up being a ton of effort because of the length of my videos. Let me explore some options to automate this and I'll correct this if I can.
I know you primarily, maybe only, cover lore videos (and I absolutely love them), but will you be covering videos about any prominent lore changes for the 2e remaster? For example, I think I heard Drow are being partially or completely retconned and reolaced solely by the seprent folk, instead of cometing with them for the dark lands
Absolutely. Specialists from Alkenstar and other more remote steam-punky places abroad. These days since the defeat of the Technic League, probably some experts in Numerian technology as well.
Yeah PFS in general made this a very difficult video to make. The society is constantly evolving. Also, it take several weeks from the time I write a video to the time it airs o the channel. So, Pathfinders vs Aspis consortium, as archeologists: Pathfinder society would be Indiana "belongs in a museum" Jones, while Aspis would be Lara "belongs to the highest bidder" Croft.
Yeah I think that's exactly right. Although Croft (and Aspis Consortium) only sells certain artifacts, because there's value in keeping a private collection too...
I'm not complaining but whenever you're doing your camera view the audio for some reason in the right speaker when you're using a headphone at least for me. 100 videos already? I wasn’t there from the beginning, but it still seems like the time’s flown by. And now we finally get arguably the most important element of the game: The Pathfinder Society itself. I love the Society as an idea. Firstly, it provides a decent excuse for characters to go on adventures (“You’re Pathfinders. This is your job”). But I also enjoy the subdivisions of the Society-the various individual lodges and the 4 factions within the Society. Especially the Seal which acts almost like an inverse Pathfinder Society (though I’ll bet all 4 groups will work together to fight the Aspis Consortium whenever the need arises).
I know! 100 videos! It does feel like I started this channel only yesterday. The fact that I've kept to 1/week (sometimes with even some bonus videos!) is the really wild thing.
Been loving your channel from the start. Pathfinder 1e was the first TTRPG I ever played and seeing your channel grow has been fantastic. Here’s to 100 more videos! 🍻
I would like a sequel to this eventually for the less prominent or more distant lodges and factions. So many continents and planes. There must be more?!
Yeah there's an overwhelming amount of society content because of the annual season of the PFS which is Paizo's organized event play. If I do this, it will be a ways out, as its a lot to sort through.
I’m still unsure if the concordance of the elements is part of the society or just an allied organization whose members often possess membership in both. The pathfinder society may well be interplanar if the former.
Congrats on 100 videos! I am curious, are you at all interested in diving into Starfinder lore at all on this channel? Considering it is somewhat connected to Pathfinder, I'd be curious to know your thoughts on doing Starfinder lore videos.
47:00 I ran Shattered Star from start to finish and Krune never appears in the adventure path. Quick research says that event happens somewhere in the Return of the Runelords AP.

Yes!!! Thank you so much. I have been so confused about who the pathfinder society is.
👏👏👏
Congratulations for 100 amazing videos
Thank you so much 😀
100 videos already?
@@TheMythKeeper I am definitely envious of your work ethic.
Holy crap. The big 100! Nothing but massive congratulations and to a bright future for you
Thanks so much!!
I love all MythKeeper faction videos!
This has been a fun series
Been loving your channel from the start. Pathfinder 1e was the first TTRPG I ever played and seeing your channel grow has been fantastic. Here’s to 100 more videos! 🍻
Cheers!
The video we've all been waiting for
Hope it lives up to the hype!
I have the Pathfinder Society book. It should be helpful to use this video along with the readings.
🎉happy 100!!!
Cheers!
Congrats on 100 videos! I am curious, are you at all interested in diving into Starfinder lore at all on this channel? Considering it is somewhat connected to Pathfinder, I'd be curious to know your thoughts on doing Starfinder lore videos.
I think eventually but it may be a while as I still have a lot of Pathfinder content to get through
I'm as excited as the next guy for the next video but take a break man you're spoiling us hahaha
🤣🤣🤣
47:00 I ran Shattered Star from start to finish and Krune never appears in the adventure path. Quick research says that event happens somewhere in the Return of the Runelords AP.
Oops! Thanks for catching my error
@@TheMythKeeper No worries. A speckle in a sea of spectacular work.
@@Nolinquisitor Haha! Thank you!
