      I use Bard silver coated (I have an suprapubic catheter)...I’ve used them for a few months now because I keep getting infections and Bard dispoz-A-bag for the leg bag and the Med Line with a metal clip for the night bag. Does anyone have the JB 3 leg bag emptier?

      I have all my Catheter Supplies Delivered to my house now Mason but when I go to Urology to get my Catheter Changed they would give it to me there too because I guess that some people do not have their Supplies Delivered so the only way they get Supplies is from Urology I found out. My Doctor and Nurses set everything up for me to get my Supplies Delivered because they know that I need it and I did not do anything and they do everything for me now having to do with my Care and they Schedule everything for me too and they always have done that.

      @@morgancalvi6675 I tried the leg bag emptier attached to my Powerchair and they work great for a little while and then they clogged up and it would not work and you get it cleaned out and then it happens again. I thought that it would be a way I could do it Independently but they are not really used much now because everyone else has the same problem I have with it. And you need to have a place to go to and empty it so you are more independent but it does not make you completely independent at all because it needs to be cleaned all the time to keep it from clogging up. Urine makes Calcium Deposits and you make Mucus buildup that plugs it up.

    Hi Mason.
    Another great informative video my friend that’s going to help so many newly injured friends.
    Like you once I discovered the catheter that worked best for me it opened up my life and gave me the independence I had be so desperately seeking. I use the all enclosed Coloplast Spedicath and it’s been an absolute life changer for me.
    Sending love and prayers from the UK 🇬🇧, God bless you brother 👏💜👍🙏🤗♿️ #ForeverPromotingPositiveDisabilityAwareness #Accessibility #Ppda

      I know a lot of quadriplegics who use intermittent catheters use the Coloplast Speedicath. I have never used it, but I honestly don't think I would like it more than my MTG EZ-Gripper. I don't see any advantage it has other than its size. I'm glad it works for you though. Thank you for watching and commenting!

      I know that is a common intermittent catheter for quadriplegics to use, but I have never used it. I don't think I would like it as much as the MTG EZ-Gripper. I'm glad it works for you! Thank you for watching and commenting!

      @masonx54 I really like it. Started off with Speedicath and IQ. The VA pro is not only convenient but also seems to empty my bladder completely, therefore aiding in the prevention of kidney stones.

    Thanks for sharing your own discovery, regarding, Mason. Twenty years ago the Urologist offered the only option at the time as it applied to my circumstance after further injury in a emf incident. Supra pubic catheter 24/7

      I planned on getting a suprapubic catheter a few weeks ago because I was experiencing leaking for a few months, but found a new medication that solved the issue. Thank you for watching and commenting!

      @@masonx54 I'm glad you found a medication that resolved the issue, provided it checks out with any other meds you're taking (PDR). Long down the road, the suprapubic catheter is bullet proof in ease, convenience, uti prevention, and cost. The Compression socks, bullet-joystick knob, the 32 oz. CamelBak stainless water bottle(s), and other recommended items you've endorsed have Greatly Improved my life, and I just want to say, "Thank You!" ...how to find a Toy Sienna that meets VR criteria for vehicle mod for less than twelve thousand - next. So for me I did not have a choice of what kind of Catheter I have Mason. My Doctor pretty much let me know that this is it for me now except for an Ostomy but you do not want that and I kind of already knew that but you always hope that something new will be available that will give me a better quality of life.I think that this is the way it has always been for people who have no Bladder Function because you need a way to do it somehow. Maybe someday they will find a way to restore Bladder Function and reconnect the Nerves so you can do it Independently and that would be awesome.

      @masonx54  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah, that would be great. Bowel and bladder function are the top two things I want back. Thank you for watching and commenting!

    Mason i have a Foley Catheter and they tried to give me a Suprapubic Catheter but it would not work because I had Bladder Augmentation Surgery because of my Bladder Spasms so I am stuck like this now but they thought that giving me a Suprapubic Catheter would give me a better quality of life now so I wish that it would have worked for me. Last month I had an Issue and my Catheter fell out of me because the Balloon Deflated by itself. It only happened once before and I had to go to the Emergency room to get a new Catheter and up and running right again but it is kind of scary because I need a Catheter to do it for me.The last time it happened i just got home from having my Catheter changed. I am not able to feel anything but there was like pressure because I was not Draining and I found out it was because my Catheter fell out of me. I guess that it was because it had a Defective Balloon but Urology made me take an Ambulance to the Emergency Room right away because I could not go without a Catheter and they know that. But that is what can happen when you have Medical Equipment doing my Body Functions for me and it can happen to me again at any time. But now because I have been having problems with my Catheter and my Bladder Spasms they scheduled my Catheter Changes sooner now because they think that it will work better for me if I have a new Catheter and they will not clog up as much now and I need to be Irritated again as much now so hopefully that helps me.

      @masonx54  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I have always thought about having a Foley catheter rip out. I'm glad the balloon deflated before coming out. Hopefully those changes will help you. Thank you for watching and commenting!

      @@masonx54 Both times my Catheter came out I had no idea it happened because I am not able to feel anything. I just get some pressure because it is backing up and I am not able to Drain properly. The Balloon Deflated so there is nothing to hold it in me and it just fell out of me. But if it got ripped out of me it would be a lot worse and do more damage and blood and they let me know that has happened to some of their Patients but mine the Balloon Deflated and it just fell out.

      @@masonx54 I have thought about my Catheter coming out a little bit too Mason but you never think that it would actually happen to me until it did. It did really scare me for a little while because it can happen to me again but you cannot let yourself think about things like that all the time. It was like having part of my Body disconnected and I was thinking what will I do now because I need this to do it for me? Luckily I only live a couple of Houses away from the Fire station and Paramedics so they got here really fast and to the Hospital and they waited for me to get Hooked up again and took me Home. Now they know my Situation so if it happens again they know what to do. I was kind of freaked out but The Chief was taking my Vitals and letting me know that they really like the TV Show Chicago Fire because it is very realistic except when they use The Jaws Of Life it does not go that fast because it takes time to start it up. When we got to the Hospital he opened up the back Doors and went your Chariot has arrived Sir and smiled.
