I'm totally devastated by the death of Ragnar Lothbrok. I had to make a little tribute about him, such a legend. He is one of my favourite character ever. He lived an honorable life and died as a true viking.
This character was one of those who I liked most in the series.
we all will miss and think that we will see you again and you will return!

All we have is hearsay, legends, etc. Historians aren't even sure if Ragnar Lodbrok was one person, or if Ragnar Lodbrok is the sum of more than one person's accomplishments. The time Vikings takes place is one of the worst documented times in history, especially if you consider the Vikings side of the story, and that most Vikings could neither read nor write.
But the Ragnar in Vikings was a farmer at the beginning, and he did rise to the top with nothing but his own skills and mind and maybe, just maybe, a little godly help. You never know in this show. :D
@rendigmor Ragnar is not really written about but if you look at what they have documented about him is that lagerther was married to man who was exactly the same as Ragnar lothbrok and this man was related to rollo and this man son invaded and ruled of Sweden as his own kingdom. Thirdly Ragnar in real life was a farmer when he was married to lagerther but then married a princess then married a third person so basically Ragnar did exist but he was not very documented the people around him were
@@rendigmor wrong. they actually do know that he is multiple historical figures compressed into one for the series. take the fake burial in paris for example. that wasent ragnar historucally. it was björn. who was also very real and the first viking recorded to sail the mediterranean

Salman Khan I totally agree with u. Ragnar made this show great but now there's no main story line it's all over the place. After his death i stopped watching it but i have been watching TH-cam clips of newest it does seems still interesting but with the main man gone how can it ever be great.

What did you want? A super hero story like Iron Man or Captain America where the main character overcomes everything and wins?
This isnt some comic book happy story with victory. One of the main points of the show is death and Valhalla. On top of all this, Ragnar is based on a man named Ragnar who also died the same way.
I have to say this, i just re watched all seasons and it has to be the most incredible series i have ever watched, so many incredible characters, so many talented actors, but ragnar... is something else. Truly an incredible performance and will forever be best series i have seen, and will ever see.

I'm very impressed with this series, one of the best and most sincere dramas I've ever seen. All hail king ragnar, travis fimmel is one of the best actors of our time. Game of thrones is not even in the same league as vikings. This drama hits the spot in so many ways, it makes the pulse race and the adrenalin flow, which is what drama is supposed to do. Keep going with this show, it really impresses me. God bless all the people involved with this series. Xxx
