When is NVX going to promote a video showing their 'new' DSP (w/ Bluetooth audio streaming capability)? It looks like an amazing value, would be a much better deal for a few dollars more, like $30 more, if they did an app version for the platform/interface instead of just the "button" menu version. I guess I'm dropping a hint that we need a video, wink wink, if NVX sponsors the equipment... @$170 currently. Inquiring DIYers want to know :D
Hello I am just reaching out to several people I am dealing with some interesting acoustical properties that are quite complex and innovative I'd love to have a conversation about it
@@DIYAudioGuyAbsolutely 👍 I learned to be careful with the drill when installing my subs. Punctured the surround on one 😥 some gorilla tape fixed it and it slams almost 2 years later 😁 You live, you learn.
People dont realize whats cheap today was basically common place in what you found at Best Buy or Circuit City pre year 2000 and for a hell of alot more money! You honestly dont want behemoth stacked magnet subs if your working with stock electrical either. If I gave my sub $100 single audiopipe 15" its max rated power, im already pushing what my alternator can handle.
This is true. 30 years ago these would have been badass subwoofers. You could barely afford the amp to push them. A lot has changed in the last 30 years.
Nice! I ran Massive CW 12's back in 05. I loved those subs. I'm sure these sound great for the price. Btw your boxes look great as always. I love the red on black!
Been down with covid, but wake up to a vid from my favorite car audio channel. Awesome 👌 👏 👍 BTW , those subs are truly MASSIVE, it says so right on em 😂😅
Get a clicker or a snapple lid to make a pop or snap sound, then import all the audio tracks with the video. The crack pop snap works as a good sharp point to align the clips
It's a software problem. I'm using an elgato, teleprompter and 4K camera, it all runs through their software and they've got a known glitch that causes lag. A lot of people who stream video games to twitch have been complaining about it. I just updated the software and the firmware for the camera I hope that fixes the issue.
Crazy..ive been wanting to make a box almost just like this..just with a different designed front face..but same black and red colors...this couldn't have came at a better time
Recently I built a 90liter box tuned to like 24hz, decided to throw in 2 8s because the winisd graph looked promising and it delivers. Very windy with about 80w per sub. The subs are rated at 100w RMS. It sadly cant float a bag, but it does move the bag and hair well.
Back in the early 2000's, when I was in my late teens / early 20s, I had a Ford Escort hatchback that I installed a pair of 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch subs in a bandpass box, along with a good Fosgate amp. That thing hit so hard that it literally rattled your eyeballs, making everything look extremely blurry! Had to keep it turned down while driving just so I could see where I was going 😂
You can always tell when I've had a shot of whiskey before I start filming. Later on in the video I said delete the unicorn spit when I meant to say dilute the unicorn spit!
I used to include that info in the video, but then prices change and people get mad me. Just hit the link in the description to get the most current prices.
I would recommend the Keda Wood Dye kit. It’s only $25 and gives you most colors. It’s easy to alter after you have it mixed as well. Fun video, thanks!

Glad you are humble enough to both admit your mistakes & to learn from them. Good lessons here folks pay attention.
Nothing wrong with making mistakes as long as you fix them.

Yep, massive.

I've noticed the same problem with those crimpers too. I do use it like you did in the video
Apparently they're adjustable! The next time I use them. I'm going to try adjusting them.
Love the two tone look honestly, though I could never figure out carpeting boxes 😅
It takes practice.

I thought they went on. Black came out great.
You do an amazing job on these videos. Extremely informative and accurate.
Thanks, I appreciate that.
Really nice build
Thanks!

Ya I love my old p2s more than anything..
Thank you for the videos. 👍🔊🔊
Glad you like them!
Great informative video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Great video, I design rear loaded horn enclosures if you ever do a video on rear loaded horn I'll be more than happy to help you design one.
How do you get your circles? Router jig? Or draw..and router carefully?
Also after you drill the pilot holes do you vacuum the box?
What is the brand of spray adhesive that you use?

@@DIYAudioGuy ya I started to leave another comment but then I felt like I was just being an ass lol! I like the vids, keep them coming.
Spend the extra dollar and get Torqs screws instead of Phillips
FAR less likely to make an oops and slip punching a hole in the speaker
True
You mentioned that this was a budget build many times but you never broke down how much the total cost was.
I used to include that info in the video, but then prices change and people get mad me. Just hit the link in the description to get the most current prices.
Anything sold at a flea market is budget car audio gear.
Do you use the added mass method or a test box of known airspace for your dats?
Added mass.
You should have used some water with the unicorn spit. Lol
I can spend just as much time staining an enclosure, as I can building.
The dead time in between while you're waiting on things to dry is the hardest part.
IMO, always add the mistakes you/we make.
I tried to add any extra. But I don't try to hide the ones I do make.
They just watched his ass skip in front of their car and didn't hit him. He would've been on the hood
First :)

@@YellowSn0man Thanks, I will check it out.
