    Wow thanks for the prop recommendation. Just got them in today and did a lap around the house. Really smooth! Maybe add prop recommendation in your description or something so other people can find this :) Take care man.

    Excellent review! It’s great to have hobbyists like who pay for their quads do reviews because you take the time to figure out how to optimize it.

    Nice review. I only had two issues:
    1. VTX antenna contacting the props. Like you did, zip tie fixes that.
    2. Those stock props stink. I think they’re way to soft and are constantly out of shape. Luckily those are easily swapped for something else at 31mm with a 1mm shaft.
    Also, just because of all my batteries are BT2.0, I soldered on that connector.

      Hi William,
      I appreciate the feedback and agree with your comments. I think next I am going to load Emu Flight on this little guy with the "Project Mockingbird" tune.

      @@slogfpv5679 ohhhhh. I would LOVE to here how that goes for you. I've been thinking about the same thing, but wasn't sure if the difference was going to be worth the effort.
      I have some three blade props from beta fpv coming in the mail tomorrow morning. I'll let you know how those go.

    Hello, love your video and thanks for all tips. But i got one question. I really want to start fpv, but im not sure about one thing: Can i connect all ratios, drones and googles together ? Or i can connect only some drones to some goggles ? I wanted to use this combo:
    drone: Nanohawk
    ratio: FrSky ACCST Taranis Q X7 Transmitter 2.4G 16CH
    goggles: Everyine EV100 720 * 540 5,8G 72CH
    This was just what i found from some videos, so if there is anything bad with this setup, i will appreciate help.
    Thanks.

      @Kukuba008, Thanks for the feedback! On your list you might want to check out Joshua Bardwell's list: www.fpvknowitall.com/ultimate-fpv-shopping-list/
      I would avoid the FrSKy ACCST Taranis QX7 as they have broken backward compatibility with D8 mode. A much better choice would be the Radiomaster TX16S which has a multi protocol module that binds with a lot of different protocols. The Jumper T-Lite is good if your on a budget. Lastly, if you plan on staying in the hobby you might want to go with a mid-tier set of googles like the EV200Ds. SLOG

      @@slogfpv5679 Thanks a lot. I will definitely change my ratio and goggles to TX16 and EV200D. But im still not sure, if i can connect any drone with any goggles ? Sorry i couldnt find much stuff about it and im now to this.
      Thanks.

      @@kukuba0087,
      Narrowing your question to FPV drones (first person view), there are 3 main protocols, Analog, Digital (DJI) and Digital (Shark Byte). The thing that is nice about Analog is any Analog FPV goggles will be compatible with Analog FPV drones. However, they will not be compatible with the DJI Digital FPV System or Shark Byte. With Shark Byte, you can attach a Shark Byte Adapter to your analog goggles. If you want to use DJI, your best option (expensive), is to get the DJI goggles and add an analog adapter. With Digital you get a better HD video feed. See my review of the BDI Digidapter: th-cam.com/video/u36wZWvdADU/w-d-xo.html

    Good video. You said something interesting, the higher frecuency.. the better reception? im not sure to have understund that, could you explain the pros and cons of low and high frecuencies? thanks in advance

      @slogfpv5679  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Victor,
      The theory behind this is going to the higher channels in a band provides more distance from WiFI 5GHz interference. For example, RaceBand channel 8 is 5.917 GHz. Nick Burns suggested this (IT Engineer) so I tried it and it seemed to help clean up the video with these little whoop class quads.

    Put some shrink tube over the connector and wire a little bit if it's hard to unplug the battery.

    • @slogfpv5679
      @slogfpv5679  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Game Of Drones,
      Great idea. The edges on the connector are sharp and you don’t want to apply too much pressure on the side as it just makes it harder to separate the battery. Shrink tubing should help.
      Thanks,

    • @slogfpv5679

      Seems like you need to unlock your VTX if there is a channel you cannot get to. I show how to do this at 10:00 into the video. Here is a help link from Oscar Liang on VTX bands and channels:oscarliang.com/fpv-channels

    Looking at getting one, I want to use my 450s on xt30s I have. Deffs wamt to get different props, any recommendations? Gemfam 3mm 3 blade work okay? Do you think it would need a retune?

    • @slogfpv5679
      @slogfpv5679  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Slow Entropy,
      Since you are going for a heavier battery and connector, I would recommend NewBeeDrone AZI Quad or Tri-blade props. They are well balanced, have a lighter hub and are durable. As far as tune, the PIDs were already a little high so I would try the stock tune.
