Just a suggestion, sometimes I like to listen to this stuff as I’m working on things, so when you say “this is much flatter than that one, and even better than that one too” makes it vague and I have to rewind the video and pause it to see what you are shooting. If you used the pistols names when you reference them in comparison it would be much appreciated! Otherwise enjoyed it!
Jake, you're the third person to mention that and I appreciate the feedback. In order to keep the videos short I kind of skipped those details and assumed people would be able to recognize the guns I was picking up. I will do a better job of that in the future. Thanks for watching.
The four inch barrel on the Shield Carry Comp is really what makes me want to switch from my Shield Plus Pro. I also have the Equalizer, and find myself carrying that more because of the extra length of the barrel.
Hey Nick, thanks again for this great content. You helped me make a decision on choosing between the metal or the shield and def going with the shield now. Hope your page blows up soon!
@@VaStreetKing we appreciate the support. The channel is off to a great start! You’ll like the new shield. Shoots great. I’m excited to put the red dot on it.
I'm a S&W fangirl. I carry some form of Shield Daily. I have the 3.1" PC and the 4" PC with ported barrel. I have a p365XL, which I also shoot well. And I have a Glock 19 that I shoot well. But for my hands, the Shield just works. I might have to upgrade my 4" PC Shield for this one.
@@averagemarksman I have small hands. So it just works for me. You would think that the p365XL would feel better in my hands but for some reason the Shield does.
Excellent comparison... however, could you please do everyone a favor and start naming the guns, out loud, when you reference them, instead of just saying, "this one" every time. Because, at the distances you typically shoot your videos at, it's nearly impossible to tell which gun you're actually talking about... Thanks in advance!
@Jayvaughn19 You should learn the difference between someone stating which gun they're currently shooting and them not referencing which gun they're talking about in the context of their comparison! I can do a little better next time. I’m not upset about the feedback. I’m sure people who are more familiar with the pistols could tell the difference but I was moving fast.
I wish I still had the X Macro Comp on hand to compare it to. (I sold it because it would randomly have a FTF every couple hundred rounds). For me the Shield Carry Comp shoots better.
Hey! When you have another video I’d love to see the fitment of the fuse in the tenicor shield plus holster. How that fits and the shield plus. Thanks! And this is what I’ve been looking for. I carry a p365 legion and its shoots amazing because of the frame weight. However for when I want something a little more concealed and lighter I wanna pick up the shield plus
Is it safe to say that u like the Fuse much better than u did before after Sig fixed the issues u were having? I kinda figured the Carry Comp was gonna shoot better because its all metal and its ported, i think thats gonna be my next gun.. An all metal, ported gun for $999 is a good deal imo.. Right now im trying to decide between the Fuse and the M&P, and your videos are really helping me make the choice
100%. The Fuse is a good shooting pistol when it shoots. I’m glad they were able to fix it. The all metal carry comp shoots better than the fuse but they are two very different guns. Very hard to compare the two.
Hey Nick! Thanks again for the great content. I purchased the comp carry shield and picking it up tomorrow. My question is how does carrying it feels differently from carrying the other options?
I’ve been carrying it around the property the last couple of days with the same holster I carry the Shield Plus in daily. I can’t tell if there’s much of a difference.
@@averagemarksman sucks because they know what we want. But they will squeeze every penny out of each model instead of just making what we want smh lol
Really?! I like the looks of the Sig but I had a P365X and traded it. Carried like a dream but man it hurt my hands when shooting it. But I may get the shield plus comp instead.
@@ResplendentRaider ... I have a few SIG pistols. While I like them a TON, my P365 in 380 isn't perfect. I really wanted a SIG P365 Macro, or Tac Ops, but the grips were just too small for me. I think that proper grip fit and correct reach to the trigger is crucial. And while I could have bought a larger grip frame from several vendors, they are very expensive. Maybe some day. For now I've had other priorities. I absolutely think that S&W has really hit a home run with the 3 new Carry Comp pistols ! That Shield Plus Carry Comp is terrific. If I hadn't bought two other guns lately, that would absolutely be next !!
Any idea about holster torment for the Shield Plus Carry Comp? Wondering if it’s comparable with other Shield 2.0 4” holsters as holsters for this are very limited at the moment. Thank you for the great content!
I’ll sit down at the table after the current video uploads and make a video showing how the Shield Carry Comp fits in the Shield Plus holster. Short answer - you’re good to go.
Nice side view. It looks to me like the Fuse rises a bit higher and snappier than the Shield. Do you know when the new M&P 2.0 non metal version will be out? Haven't seen any out in the wild yet.
One will eventually show up over the tube. Leaning towards that or a non comp 3.6" 2.0, really like the shield plus but I'm used to a P30 or 1911. Also looked at a 92X compact today. Maybe I like it so much because my pistol in the Marine Corps was the 92fs so it felt familiar. Heh
Great video. As a first-time buyer, I'm looking for the best 'do it all' compact that's fun to take to the range with my buddies but also easy to carry. Im pretty minimalistic, so I want something versatile. Personally, I like the tactical style of the Fuse, and it seems to check a lot of boxes. Am I right in thinking this is the one for me?
I'm not sure where you are going to carry but if it is AIWB smaller is usually better. A 21 round mag would be very uncomfortable for all day carry. I carry an XL and that's perfect.
@averagemarksman the thing is all day every day in most situations. My XL is 12. Been thinking about getting the kit to make it 14 though. But if you can actually forget it's there then when you go to put it on you won't change your mind. P365 when it was new meant you could carry a comfortable gun with enough rounds 365 days a year. Cheers man. Good video.
@@averagemarksman ... Well, ... I think that SIG is overpriced most of the time. I'm also a little leery of SIG as they have a history of seemingly using consumers as Beta testers. (SIG Mosquito , P290, P290RS, first year and a half of P250), and worse yet the P320 debacle !! Plus, I had a SIG P380 that doesn't always work great. I've always liked almost every single S&W pistol I've had. Hated the hinged triggers of earlier generations though. Now I'm seeing S&W making a full court press, and making a move for first place. The newest triggers are very competitive with anyone else's. My Performance Center EZ 380 is great, except it would be nice if it held 2 more rounds.
