If you got liquid leaking from that hole next to the oil pan it means the seal in the oil/water pump needs to be changed. Oil is mixed with coolant. It could be expensive because the impeller shaft could be damaged. I had the same problem on my bike. In UK cost me about £250. I can't wait to se the end result.

Hey Mate, thank you very much for the feedback!! 😎🙏🏻
I didn’t consider the pump itself because the opening did also leak while the engine was not running 🤔 But if you had kinda the same issue I have to take a closer look on the pump again 🔍Thanks again :) BR Patrick 🤘🏻

No problem. In most cases the impeller shaft is in good condition, mine was very bad and just the shaft cost me about £120. Good luck and if I can help with more information I will.👍

As Alex says, oil/water pump leak. Hopefully just need a seal if not you'll need a new shaft too.

It's like the other guys said. This weep hole below the water/ oil pump was designed to drip if the interior seals fail. I am speaking from experience as well as online research. I, too, thought it was initially an oil pan leak. My bike is a 1986 K100. 72,000 miles. I was getting an intermittent squeak - chirping sound from the oil pump area (it was leaking pretty badly at this point). Pulled the pump. The seals had turned to mush and, unfortunately, my impeller shaft had corroded around the seal seats. Don't bother trying to get by with this corroded shaft. You're in for a new shaft and pump rebuild kit. Got my from Euro Moto Electrics out of Denver. As you will discover online, you need to be very gentle when pressing the one seal onto the shaft. It contains a ceramic component which can be easily cracked. Best method would be to press the seal onto the shaft. And Euro Moto recommended very lightly lubricating all seals before installation. Literally just a film of lubricant and no more. Good luck!

Hey buddy thanks for the explanation 💪🏻
I have meanwhile gained my own experience 😅 I had to do it 3 times until the shaft was sitting correctly without leaking anymore. If you know how to do it it’s not really bad but the way to figure out was 😂 however not it is good 👌🏻 BR patrick

Hello, I watch your videos on TH-cam. I will buy a torque wrench for the K1100lt motorcycle engine.
20-120 N.M Will an adjustable torque wrench be enough or should I buy 25-220?

    Hi,
"How To - K100 K75 - Pump Seal Service

PS:ich bin auch gerade an meiner k100 drum und ungefähr auf dem gleichen Stand wie du
