      That is a really good question. I think this is best answered by Two Trees. Thanks for watching!

    How loud is it? More or less than a normal household vacuum cleaner?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The laser module cooling fan is less noisy than a vacuum cleaner- the air assist makes just a soft buzzing noise- hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    Hey Greg I’ve finally gotten my ikier laser together and running I’ve learned light burn some what but I’ve got a bunch of questions on light burn SO I HAD a job for a future income I hope But I ran the job cut out a few times then it all a sudden started cutting before doing engraving it drove me batey. Another question is if I use the cross hairs on the auto focus and get exactly to the corner and press auto focus the button on the bottom of the auto focus won’t connect with the work piece it will be over the edge and the Z axis will crash. Another question when framing the light would go on with the cross hairs then the next time it wouldn’t and how if I set the auto focus that’s my part zero or program zero is that right? Or in a absolute or current position I’m confused please explain

      Congrats on your K1! In the order of your questions- cutting first than engraving; this is either the cut layer was selected 1st like layer 02 and then the engraving layer was next layer 03. There's also the order in which they are placed in Cuts and Layers tab. Autofocus- some users are now autofocusing on the outer edge of the material so that just the autofocus sensor is over the material. When I run batch jobs I always run in Absolute position- the laser returns to home or 0,0. If I have a quick one-off job I'll use the current position option. Thanks for watching!

    Hey Greg, I just received my TwoTrees TS2 10W, at first all was working good but then when I tried to cover the 450mmx450mm it started hitting the frame and now whenever it send it home it does a strange noise in the X side, it seems that it turn out the boundaries, any idea?

      I tend to run project sizes a little smaller than the max machine project area- as you found out at the max project area it doesn't take much to run out of space and bump a homing limit switch or throw an error. As far as resetting the machine- other then cycling power it's hard for me tell without seeing it. I would recommend sharing your issue on the Two Trees Facebook page where you can post photos and video for others to offer their ideas. Best wishes!

    Can you please show how the "quick release" works to remove the nozzle and clean the laser lens?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure- I can make a video on that. Until than, there's 3 grub screws on the left side of the laser module- loosen them and the laser module slides right out!

    • @chuckstrunk3746
      @chuckstrunk3746 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I can get the module removed, I'm talking about the nozzle (where the air assist screws into) inside the laser module so I can get to the lens to clean it. I can't find how to remove the nozzle "thingy".@@thelaserchannel1

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@chuckstrunk3746 ok- 1) remove the air assist pipe on the side of the air assist nozzle. 2) Remove the laser module from the machine. 3) On the back of the laser module there is hole that lines up with a grub screw on the air assist nozzle- loosen. You'll now have full access to the protective lens.
