This is one of the best short video about the yoga practice I have across. Thank you so much Kino, truly appreciated 😊

    Thank you, Kino.
It seems that many spiritual practices have suffering in common. Yogis, along with Shaolin monks plunging their hands in hot sand, Jews suffering on their different holidays, Muslims fasting, and Catholic monks depriving or beating themselves. What I like about Yoga is that the suffering is stated so openly and with honesty. And it is entwined with serenity.

Watching this and getting a little teary eyed. When I first signed up for Yoga Teacher Training Ashtanga, I was doing it for a spiritual means. I did my training during Covid and it didn’t help it wasn’t vaccinated therefore I was not able to attend in person and did it online which was hard. I did not get the same feel as you would in person. I believe due to the experience I had without much help from teachers or lack of feedback, I slowly began to regret my decision, began to look at Ashtanga as hard, I can’t do this etc. I am trying to get back slowly by doing the sun salutations only before I move forward to the standing sequences etc. I still need to finish my training so I can get certified too. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us.

I've been running from my practice and doubting my teachers. Amazing how you connect through this medium and reach students in need. Thank you!

I was forced to suffer with lung disease ,double lung transplant and six months in the hospital. I had to learn how to walk again. It humbled me and I’ll never take life for granted again

Bhoga without yoga creates roga. Just as yoga without bhoga creates roga. The enlightened person experiences pain and joy, that is the basis of life's duality, his attitude and acceptance makes the difference. But it is true that if the mind does not sink into consciousness then there can be no good Ashtanga Yoga or beautiful Jnana Yoga.
