One of my favorite pipes!
I have that exact Bings and I love it. I didn’t think I would, because I tend to like shorter smaller bowl pipes. But the Bings Favorite is awesome and fun to smoke.
@@TalkinTobacco Right there with you! It’s elegant and, as you said, a fun smoke.
Great Music with a beautiful pipe!! Living the Dream!! Thanks for sharing...........Jose from Texas
Thanks! My wife and I used to live in Austin, and we still have friends there.
A lovely Bing‘s Favourite 😊👍👍…and…great chat in this video too 😊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 My condolences for your loss…may your mother rest in peace 😔
Thank you, my friend!
Such an elegant, classic shape.
Good evening and hello from North Yorkshire 🇬🇧 love that pipe buddy, I’m a sucker for a good billiard. Great video and memories of your dad and so sorry on the death of your mother. Bing now you’ve got my memories jiggling I loved his films, all of them either with Bob Hope or Danny Kaye the whole lot of them and that Christmas hit with David Bowie, Peace on earth/ little drummer boy is a classic. Enjoy your smokes and have a nice evening. Jonathan.
Greetings, friend! Those are classic films indeed! If you are a North Yorkshire man, then you are from the same area as one of my favorite singers, David Coverdale. He is from Saltburn-by-the-Sea, was in Deep Purple from ‘73-‘76, and since ‘78 has been the voice of Whitesnake.
@@PerkinsPipes about 20 minutes from here.
I have a Bing. One of my favorite pipes!
Thanks for stopping by!
We love Savinelli pipes, we just did a GAW with one, and were sorry to hear about your mom, good day sir.
I just order one through my local pipe shop in Greece! I am 29 years old !! Love a good pipe ! This one looks so elegantl!!!
I love the pipe, it’s on my list of pipes to acquire. Nice video
Thanks! I think you’ll enjoy it.
I tend to favor long pipes such as churchwardens, and I own 2 Savinelli churchwardens. This pipe is long enough and elegant enough that I'll get one eventually. Thanks for sharing, my condolences on your mother's passing. I lost mine on December 23, 30 years ago; so, I've been there.
Thank you for stopping by, my friend. This definitely gives a nice, cool smoke because of its length, and I agree about the elegance of its design.
Besides the Bing's favourite I also recently bought 2 Churchwardens from Savinelli the 104 en 601 and I have the Miele 642. The pipes from Savinelli are really good and i enjoy them very much. Mothers are always special, i lost mine in December 2012. I still miss her.
@@35acacia 👍👍
@35acacia, I sorry for your loss. Mothers are indeed special. I had the great privilege and honor of singing hymns to mine and reading to her from her Bible in her final days.

Awesome 💯
Good looking pipe...those Italians know their stuff...😉
@@edwardfaris8516 Indeed! Any culture has to produce some items of ugliness, but it is close to impossible to find such among Italian works.
Hola,
personal story about a wonderful historical shape/pipe.
I will look uo for a bing too I think. Its for me the most elegant pipe.
Thanks for sharing.
Maybe we see us on the island on my channel sometime.
Best wishes from the 🌞🏝.

Beautiful pipe! Indeed, a lot of class back then and with that generation. I love those classic shapes like that. Simple but charming. Hope you enjoy your new Savinelli. Cheers!
Well, you just nailed. It is the class and style of the '30s and '40s that is just inimitable and so missed in the current age. As for enjoying it...I am LOVING it! Thanks for your comment!
These pipes are great. I have two Bings Favourites and I find them easy to smoke while driving or reading. Super review.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video and your Bings!
Hey there..... you just popped up on my feed and i had to subscribe.... I'm a Pipe Smoking Perkins too...cheers 👍
Hello! Good to meet another with our name!
Good morning. Glad I found your channel and that you've taken up this great hobby.
Thank you, my friend! It is good to hear from you. I have certainly enjoyed seeing some of your pipes!
I really enjoy my BF smooth. A cool smoke due to the length. Super lightweight so a great clencher. Forces you to slow your cadence or it will get hot. I smoked Errinmoor Flake in mine today. I use a 6mm balsa filter. Love this pipe.
I have my share of Sav's, my favorite pipes. A Bing"s Favorite is on my radar. It's a beauty, enjoy your smokes.

Thank you! This is my first Savinelli, and if it is any indicator of quality, there may well be others in my future.
It’s a beauty! I sure enjoy mine!
I saw one, held one, but didn’t buy it… I’m a smooth billiard guy, and this is a real beauty. Maybe someday. I enjoyed your story and thoughts.
Right there with you on the smooth finish. In general I prefer it to sandblasted or rusticated.
Your channel popped up on my homepage. Looking forward to your videos. 👍
Thank you! I will hopefully be posting some more very soon.
this is so nice
I also recently bought this pipe, it's a very nice pipe, i love it. Enjoy yours like I will enjoy mine
Thanks for the comment! Did you with the smooth or rusticated finish? Enjoy!
I have the smoorh finish, I waited some time but it was always out of stock. When it was available again I immediately bought it.
@@35acacia I’m a huge fan of smooth finishes. I have some pipes that are rusticated, but on the whole I prefer smooth.
@@PerkinsPipes The only rusticated pipe I have at the moment is the Peterson Christmas 2023 Sandblasted 05 fishtail, the others are all smooth finishes. I like them that way, way more classic.
My condolences...I saw a photo of Bing smoking a pipe with a mouthpiece about 1 1/2" long...the rest was the pipe....might that be a Savinelli? Good video, thanks!
Nice hat
Is the Bing's Favorite a filtered pipe and if filtered, is it 9mm or 6mm?
It is filtered, although I do not use the filter. I don't remember the size and am not around it right now to check. You can check on Amazon.
@@PerkinsPipes Thank you for your prompt reply! I will check Amazon!

Think it's 6mm
I found this pipe getting hot very fast and not deliver a good taste!
Hmmm. I haven’t had that problem. Although I have had some pipes smoke hot one time and then not the next. Lots of factors figure into it…packing, rate of smoking, etc.
@@PerkinsPipes I smoke it one a day, but it is smooth and I notice that he have a small dot
