- Kiran Amegadjie is the most ridiculous prospect in the 2024 NFL draft. At one point he was a two star recruit, a future investment banker and a summer linkedin intern at an FCS school, but just a few months later he blew up into one of the top lineman prospects in the draft class and his life will forever be different. Today, we will tell his story and why he is so hyped up, enjoy!

Ivy League players are rare in the NFL but 90% of them are legends, so somebody is going to get a fantastic second day pick with this guy.
As a rams fan, I love fitzmagic and I could see the rams drafting this guy. The rams love these small school guys that are intelligent and have football IQ

I worked with Peanut Tillman while he was a summer intern where I worked... while he was getting paid over $10 million a year with the Bears! It was a pretty surreal experience.

How did no one pick up on this guy? His high school tape is terrific. This is another example of a guy that shows you recruiting rankings are overblown. Do you need to get some 5 star players that hit? Yes but you don’t need to only get 5 star guys because there are guys like this out there that are better than the 5 star guy.
The quad injury that required surgery last year hurt his chances. That, and as much as I like the kid and love the Bears, the fact that he played in Ivy League does not help either. His tape looks great, until you realize he's mostly playing against much smaller guys that probably dont have dynamic rush moves or elite physical traits.
I am not being negative, just answering your question.

Home town kid gets a shot to start at home in Chicago. I was very high on him during the draft process. Toolsy player but is also very raw. I wouldve loved to see him with an elite OL coach like Jeff Stoutland or Bill Callahan. Hopefully he does well at home in Chicago.

Just stumbled across this channel a couple of weeks ago and I love it! As a fellow college football fan, I have an idea for a video. As a life long die hard Michigan fan, we dealt with a lull point between Lloyd Carr and Jim Harbaugh. The Rich Rodriguez and Brady Hoke era still give me nightmares but a bright point in the misery was Michigan vs. Notre Dame in 2011. The ending of this game has been affectionately referred to as "The Last 1:41" by us Wolverine diehards. I'll never forget that night, my buddies and I cheered so loud that we woke up my parents. Then, we drove around for half the night in my 1990 Pontiac Firebird screaming out the window. I had to work at 6am, showed up a hour late with no voice but it was worth it. I'll never forget that game.

I won't be surprised if the injury knocks him down to the third round. If he'd played at a Big 10 or SEC school and done equally well, the injury wouldn't drop him that much. Playing at Yale and having an injury might make him more of a question mark. However, some team could get him in the third round and end up with a steal of a pick.
Any injury which causes a player to only appear in four games, will drop any player regardless of conference. Unless you had such a dominating junior season. Having a dominant freshman and sophomore season, then an injury as a junior, then jumping to the league? You will get dropped and probably better to stay in school. An injury as a senior with only four games played gives teams an excuse, especially offensive line.

Just bc I wanted specifics, I googled the origins of Amegadjie's name, and he is likely Togolese (located in West Africa) since the last name is apparently only used there.
Dad is from Togo, mom is from Cameroon.
