    Alternate video title...."Eight QB's that were studs in HS and turned out to be not all that great in college". Will any of them get it together? It's entirely possible. Will most or all be busts? Probably.

      Cam Rising is a bust? Interesting logic

      @@graysonbuza1074 Going into his 7th year, 25 years old playing with 18 year olds, spent the majority of his college career on the bench for various reasons, had one decent year.....a year that he should have already been in the NFL. we shall see how this upcoming year goes, I like Cam rising but, age, injuries, Etc. He's getting really close to bust territory. Luckily Utah has a decent schedule this year and the 2025 draft is light on QB's at this point. Maybe he turns it around, only time will tell.

    10:52 I think you need to add Cam Ward of Miami to the list. Cam was 4-8 at Washington State. That was his third school. He's now at Miami and needs to show up especially since he jumped in the 2024 NFL draft only to pull his name.

      @luckybuckeye2283 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah. The one receiver I feel like that needs to be in the video is Julian Fleming. Injuries and a loaded receiver room limited him to alittle under 1000 yards in 4 years. This is his last year of college eligibility and I hope he can make his name known in the Draft conversation.

    As a Clemson fan who has watched A LOT of both guys, i have an opinion for Cade Klubnik and DJU.
    Cade: Only playing the majority of 2 games his freshman year, he came into last season pretty much still a true freshman even though listed as a sophomore. Cole Turner, a big play type WR that he established a connection with, missed all of last season due to injury, and the entire WR room got the injury bug, never allowing him to establish that trust factor. The o-line was AWFUL. So much so that they fired the position coach and got Matt Luke in for this year. Because of this, too many times, it felt as though Cade had to play hero ball and would make poor decisions that worked in high school but not at the P5 level. Add in that Garrett Riley was bringing in a whole new offense. The offense was tough to watch at times. The few bright spots, though, the unit started to find some things that worked at the end of the year, and young guys got valuable playing time.
    DJU: Guy has a cannon for an arm but lacks the "touch" on passes your top level guys need. And not to bash him too hard, but he takes FOREVER to go through his reads. If that first option isn't there, he's quick to panic. Being 6'5", 250 lbs in high school, he was able to physically dominate the competition. He never worried about taking a sack because he could just fight out of it. With the comfort of knowing most guys would bounce off of him, he showed much more poise, and when he found open guys on the first or second read, he could do his thing. (See the ND game in which his second start he threw for over 400 yards). The season in which he became starter after Trevor Lawrence left, Clemson started the season against Georgia, in which UGA won 10-3 thanks to a pick 6 from a bad pass by DJ. He was harassed all night long. To this day, i do not believe he's recovered from the beating he took. At times, he looks scared and lost. At Oregon St they took away all QB option calls and kept things simple with him with short routes and play action which he looked a bit better at but still not what you'd expect from a 5 star #1 HS QB. There are some tools there, but pass accuracy and footwork leave much to be desired. Perhaps at FSU in Norvell's system, he can put it all together and showcase what made him such a sought-after recruit!
