Dusty Thompson yeah, a lot of companies put chemicals on the bananas to ripen/ or preserve them and the chemical is made with shellfish. It’s outrageous on so many levels, and some people can even have anaphylactic reactions to shellfish yet the companies are not required to tell consumers that there is shellfish on their bananas!!!!
Lazy Baking Tip: Always mix the dry ingredients together first. It's much easier to break up any lumps in baking powder/soda, etc. When you add the liquid stuff, it blends more easily. Minor point, but then you don't have to stir so much, which prevents the batter from going 'tough', and is less work for lazy people like me. :) Happy lazy cooking!
the mug cake was SO GOOD!! I already made it twice. The second time I actually swapped 1/2 tbsp of flour with cacao and it was so delicious 😍 I really enjoy your videos and your calming voice :)
i just tried the vanilla mug cake and it was SO GOOD. i used maple syrup instead of sugar and took out one tbsp of milk, and i used olive oil instead of coconut. i split it into two ramekins and microwaved for 45 seconds and it came out perfect!!!
all you have to do is chop the dates, etc. up with a knife and combine. you don't need a food processor to cook, even if you're vegan. that's ridiculous.

You captured my heart and made me subscribe when you said you didn't own a microwave I love you because I hate microwave and thank you for showing me how to make a mug cake in the oven instead of in a microwave
I loved the mugcake. It tastes soooo good. I’ve made it twice this week already. Today i made them the third time this week and i made them into little muffins for school.❤️❤️❤️
Hey so I tried the mug cake (and added chocolate chips to it) 1:30 to 2 min in the microwave is enough and you can replace milk with water to make the cake super light and fluffy. Also, be careful since the cake is going to rise, so leave extra room in your mug for that
My lazy vegan snack/breakfast: -2/3 cup almond/cashew/coconut milk yogurt -1/3 cup date paste or date sugar -1/8 cup water (i prefer thinner yogurt) -1/4 cup frozen wild blueberries -1/3 cup shredded wheat, oat, seed, cereal blend (i just buy 2 boxed of cereal and combine them with chia seeds) these measurements are general. just figure out what you prefer
I made the #4 Vanilla Mug Cake with maple syrup instead of sugar and it came out perfectly fine. Yes I omitted 1 tbsp of the plant milk. I added 1 tbsp of maple syrup but I think I should've put a bit more (I don't use vanilla extract). It's amazing... It's like something with butter that your grandma has made to you.
I made the nutty chocolate crumble mix last night, I love it! Def my new go to. People complaining that this isn't lazy and is too hard must live off instant noodles and Kraft dinner
actually i live off of apples, peanut butter, bananas, oatmeal, larabars, almond butter, vegan yogurt, granola, nuts, and chips. And for dinner veggies and rice or pasta
Great video! 💖 I was sooo happy to see you make the mug cake in the oven! 😍 I also do not own a microwave so I'm super excited to try this recipe out 💖
White beans have always been a favourite of mine- but I'm always eating them either in a curry or with pasta sauce. I'm so keen to try out this snack idea! 😁
Another healthy, very cheap, very fast and very easy vegan snack (and one of my favorite thing. I ofter have it for breakfast). Cut an apple (in slices or cubes, whatever shape you prefer) and drizzle some melted peanut butter (crunchy or smooth) on it. That's it. You can melt the peanut butter in the microwave (be careful, a few seconds are enough) or in a bain-marie. It melts really easily
I know peoples roast seasoned garbanzos, never thot of using white beans! Thx! ps. I love how your recipes make tiny servings!!! I really need to learn to cook for one!
Another great recipe: Take some butter in a pan, add freshly cracked pepper then add some broccoli florets (non steamed) stir fry it, then add some lemon juice before eating. Or you could've added the lemon juice in the butter and pepper.
The stem of the broccoli is very healthy, you can steem it also or may eat it raw, when you chop up the hard part outside of it for better taste It's really delicious
If you are going to make one thing from this video make the granola Btw I made that cake on a microwave and it turned out pretty dense and hard to chew is that normal?
Hey Mina! I love your videos so much! I especially love the relaxing music that you pick! Is there any chance you could let us know what songs you had in this one so I could listen to them? Thanks so much!
Thank you for your recipes !! I always love all of your videos :) Please, could you tell me what is the mixer you use for your 1st recipe (the one with a glass bowl) ? Thank you, Sabine
Timestamp and notes (from the desc) for myself :) 5:18 #4 Vanilla Mug Cake 1-2 tsp coconut oil, solid ¼ tsp vanilla 3 tbsp non dairy milk ½ tsp apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp sugar* a pinch of salt ¼ tsp baking powder 3 ½ tbsp spelt or all purpose flour *I used maple sugar, you can substitute with raw or coconut sugar. I’ve never tried using a liquid sweetener before. If you try it, maybe use 1 tbsp less plant milk and see how you get on. Let me know if it works!
(Non-vegan here) so, what is the pount of the acv in the cake? Just for health or does it do something to the cake? Mine turned out very spongey and sad when i used cows milk
My idea of lazy vegan snack: peel a banana 😂
Elaine Kim the sad thing is not all bananas are vegan☹️
@@fluffydogs4life311 really?
Dusty Thompson yeah, a lot of companies put chemicals on the bananas to ripen/ or preserve them and the chemical is made with shellfish. @@fluffydogs4life311 ewwwww that's soo gross i'll be really carefull from now on when buying bananas!
dais james I’m pretty sure all organic bananas are vegan!😀
vegan mug cake:
4 tablespoons of all purpose flour
3 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
mix
3 tablespoons of non dairy milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (or any vegan oil)
1 teaspoon vanilla
mix well
microwave 1:30
it’s really good :)
thank u!♡
tea thanks :)
tea all the recipes are in the description xD
@@senselesspotato6950 they specified the microwave length though!
Tea - that's a good recipe, but you can switch the milk for water and leave out the vanilla. Also include a teaspoon of cocoa powder for choc cake!
These weren't lazy enough for me sorry. If I have to get a blender it's too much lmao
Same
same i hate the thought of washing it for some reason so i never use it hahaha
LordLoldemort7 same! Idk why either 😂😂 I think I’m scared of the blades cutting me.
Lol same thing I thought soon as I saw that blender! 🤦🏾♀️😆
XDDDD fucking hell

I love that your recipes are always so simple yet nothing I would ever think to make 😍 Super excited to try these
I've never seen a vegan snack video that doesn't include dates 😂
And bananas lol
Wait are you saying thus cos this one does or doesnt
Oh never mind
@@hyejuves But this one didn't have bananas?? (Also, I'm loving your username!!!!)
Can I sub prunes for those dates?
The cake in the mug came out great in the microwave; i put mine in there for about 35-40 seconds.
the mug cake was SO GOOD!! I already made it twice. The second time I actually swapped 1/2 tbsp of flour with cacao and it was so delicious 😍
I really enjoy your videos and your calming voice :)
Looverdose how much oats did you use?? In the video she adds oats but in the description it doesn't say
for people wondering how long to microwave the mug cake 1:30 is fine but if you like it more dense like a pastry then do it for 2:00
Thank you !
How many watts?
I love your vegan snack vids! I’ve been vegetarian for a year and vegan on and off for the past month, I will succeed!!
I’m a horrible vegan 😂 I just deep fry potato wedges and burry them in nutri yeast
Yahnik H. You could air fry them instead or bake them for it to be healthy
Yahnik H. that sounds delicous thb lol
@@paigeoswald4324 air frying is also less messy and pretty fast too. Its also lazier than deep frying lol i love it
Lol😂😂😂😂
Good God! That sounds amazing. I know what I'm trying to night :-)
Edit: They ARE amazing, even though I wasn't generous enough with the nooch.
the vanilla mug cake was amaazing. I did my version which was choc chip but i only added chocolate chunks on the top perfectioon
Did you cook in with a microwave ?
Never ever throw away the broccoli stalk. Peel it and eat it raw. It's got a gorgeous nutty flavour. My kids love it 💖💚🌱🌍
mumofmany yes I always loved the Stalk better than the florets when I was younger, really good with ranch dressing
Or add it in with a mire poix or just with onion in soups/stews etc? Love broccoli stalks! 🥰🥰🥰

Almost all vegan recipes include a processor, but nobody thinks of people like me who are very poor :^(
NatalíR.08 I go to consignment shops and can buy kitchen tools used for very cheap. I once bought a blender for $4
This 😭😭

Try just using a gluten free flour Blend and rice flakes 😊
