Thanks for sharing this recipe.Looks delicious. I will do it tonight. My small contribution.Ingredients: 1 cup of nuts 6 tablespoons of raw cacao powder 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional) 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup of pitted dates 1 cup of almonds (put no top) Chocolate Ganash 2 tablespoons of coconut oil 1 teaspoon of agave syrup or any other sweetener 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract 2 teaspoons of raw cacao powder
I rarely comment on videos but I had to come on this one to say WOW!! I usually don't make recipes from youtube but this one had so few ingredients that I had all of them on hand so I immediately made it! I used a mixture of walnuts, almonds and cashews for the base and instead of icing the brownies, I rolled them into about 32 little balls. They taste SO good!! So rich and chocolatey - perfect for when I'm craving a piece of chocolate every now and then. Thank you so much for this amazing recipe!
Mine came out like shit. I don't know where I went wrong. It might be the cocoa. 6 tablespoons is way too much! 😥😥 I can't eat it. What can I do so I don't waste it?
Just made these and they’re delicious! I made some revisions: - used cashews and walnuts as that’s all I had -1/4 tsp of sea salt to the brownie mix instead of 1 tsp - added a Tbsp of hemp hearts in addition to the chia seeds - added 1 tablespoon of agave instead of 1 tsp to the ganache as well as a small pinch of salt. -I also added freeze dried strawberries on top of the whole thing and MAN these are addicting and very filling for just eating two small squares. Thanks for posting the recipe!
Palwasha Durrani Since they’re refrigerated, I’d say up to at least 2 months! It’s mainly nuts and dates so they’ll last for quite some time if stored in the fridge. I still have some left over from a week ago in my fridge and they’re still perfect just like fresh.
Pepto Bismol Yes, absolutely! Although they won’t be as sweet as the dates, prunes will make a great substitute. Even raisins will work. Any sticky dried fruits really.
Made them and they're sooo good! If the mixture is too dry, add more dates. And if you use cocoa processed with alkali (like Hershey's special dark) you could turn them into soft Oreo type cookie sandwiches.
I was in a depression and anxiety course and every week the filled us with healthy food that helped your brain and we got desert as well. We had these brownies and they were the most delicious brownies I've ever tasted. I'm not much of a chocolate eater but I just couldn't get enough of these! Everyone scoffed them down!
I just made these and I have a few comments: 1.) I used white chia seeds instead of black and they did not blend, so the brownies have white dots everywhere. I definitely need a better food processor. 2.) At first, I added 1 cup of dates, and it was too dry. And then I added a cup more, but it was still too dry. So i ended up adding some water to thicken it up. And it worked! I guess my dates were just too dry. I should soak them next time. 3.) When i was finished it only made 4 brownies :( but I guess that’s because I made them thicker than you did. But either way I’m really excited to try them and thank you sooo much for this amazing recipe!
Just made a batch of these delicious brownies 😍 I wasn't expecting them to be so chocolatey they were the perfect thing to target that sweet tooth hit. Thank you for this fabulous recipe!
I made these with carob powder instead of cacao powder and they turned out amazing ! I just underestimated the crunchiness of the almonds put inside ! Next time I will put more because it’s just wonderful ! Thank you for the recipe !
Oh My God, these are incredible! My blender really struggled, so I may buy a new one, but they are chocolatey perfection! I used honey instaed of agave! Who needs sugar!
Personally I refrain from trying these kind of recipes because I always think that even though it looks amazing, it's gonna taste way too healthy and far from what a brownie would taste like but I am so happy for giving this recipe a try. I have never liked dates or nuts but I couldn't taste them and these tasted really really good and are guilt free yet indulgent ! Thank you so much! Looking forward to more tasty recipes!
I made this today and really enjoyed them! They are very rich in flavor so my chocolate craving has been satisfied for the rest of the day. Also, they are super easy to make and I didn't have a problem with the teaspoon of salt required for this recipe as none of the nuts I used had any added salt. The nuts were raw. They're stored in the fridge since the weather has been around 80 degrees in San Diego and I do not want the ganache to get runny.

I did make them that night. They came out great! Especially the gnash which was a great frosting alternative. I did roll mine out a little too thin though.
Andrew Fillhart it does have sugar, agave syrup is sugar just in a hidden form and isn't great for our health actually. I would recommend coconut sugar as it's better than cane, but sugar is sugar at the end of the day so be mindful
Stevia isn't exactly healthy either :P My mom even refuses to buy anything with Stevia in it. It also depends on what type of Stevia: green leaf Stevia, extracts or altered Stevia (something like Truvia, I really don't recommend you use that) As for sweetener I tend to stick with cane sugar most of the time. Not amazing but it works.

I've made this recipe over and over again! Such a good recipe, really tasty and I love how you can use whatever you have on hand. Today I used almonds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds and honey for sweetener in my ganache :)
I don't know why someone would go without a food processor. There are cheap varieties and then great ones that will also do slicing/dicing for you. Bake = needing a baking sheet. Pick your complaint.
A food processor is a tool to speed up the process of dicing and mashing. Chop the ingredients into small bits, then mash with a fork or potato masher. Some recipes call to keep the liquids created by mashing and others require a sieve to separate the liquid from the mashed ingredient(s).
Thank you so much for such a recipe...This is the first dish I tried by myself...I don't know cooking...But on seeing this healthy recipe...I wanted to try it...Atlast it came out really superb...Everyone in my home loved my first recipe...Thank you Mam...I used honey for sweetness...And badam and cashews...
Dates are a really good substitue for butter honeslty. I used sea salt, the brownies came out a bit salty so I would recommend if your using sea salt, 0-1/2 salt if needed.
i love watching your videos, they give me that relax feeling that i never get bored or want them to go fasterthe bad thing is that they always make me hungry (and that i dont have your excellence at cooking
I tried this recipe and it is AMAZING! Thank you so so much!!!! I just adapted the recipe a bit, so I could use stuff I already had at home. I exchanged walnuts for nuts, added 100g of dates and some butter, and replaced chia with benne seeds. Still, the recipe was excellent. Thanks again, you are the best❤

i made these and were so delicious i think now when ever i will crave for chocolate im gonna make this and eat it trust me it was sooo good and every one in my home liked this
Hmm maybe figs? The cool thing about dates is that they're really nice and sticky, which is how they bring the dough together, figs don't really do that. Maybe some apricots but those would def alter the taste. Figs are probably the closest, but you'd have to add some sort of liquid or creamy thing to keep the dough together
rose quartz Haha meee! I’m not actually vegan/gluten free/or vegetarian but sometimes I search for those recipes cuz I want something healthier. And theyll use a replacement I dont wanna have to buy so I’m like “eh I’ll just use milk/butter”
I was anxious to make these, but I only had raisins, so I used those. Also, I substituted the nuts for 1/2 cup oat flour. The batter turned out a little bit dry and crumbly. I think it may be because the raisins didn’t soak long enough. Actually, I added a little water, and that seemed to help. Problem is, it still had a raisin like taste more than a chocolatey taste. So I added more Coco, some honey, ground up peanuts, and a little peanut butter. They were moist enough and tasted pretty good after that. Thanks for the recipe!
This is a delicious dessert recipe. I’m especially happy it is plant based. Your clear presentation makes it look so easy to make. I appreciate you sharing with me. I also make Plant based recipe videos. I love living the plant powdered life. I hope we can learn from each other!
What is this random video? Hahaha that's fine. Yeah I think bananas could be a good replacement because they're like really sweet, kinda chewy and thick so I think it could be a good option😉❤️
It seems like an awesome recipe! But why doing a Free-gluten too?? I was wondering about this free-gluten trend, and when I came to see my nutrionist she said that at leat you're allergic, you doesn't have to be on a free-gluten alimentation! And it can even be dangerous bcoz when you're really allergic to gluten, you need some other aliments to remplace it and being careful in your alimentation! But by doing those free-gluten recipe whitout stating that and posting them on the internet there are bunch of (young) people who doesn't know that and are just on their vegan journey who will think gluten is bad for the health and just stopping it whitout taking any measures afterwards. I'm just saying with kindness and good sense :).
You can replace the dates with prunes or figs. You won't really taste the dates, to be honest, I'm not too fond of eating dates plain, but I love them in desserts! :)

I tried these and they turned out good. A little tip is to soak the dates for a bit before blending them to make it easier to blend
I've made this recipe over and over again! Such a good recipe, really tasty and I love how you can use whatever you have on hand. Today I used almonds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds and honey for sweetener in my ganache :)
Ahh so happy you liked the recipe! Love the suggestions :))
Please make more healthy recipes, vegan type
I hope to do more healthy recipes! Stay tuned :)
i want to try it
same!
sameeeeee
FYI: NO BAKE = FOOD PROCESSOR. So if you don't wanna use an oven you have to buy a processor.
Come on, you get the point, besides you can use a blender
No one is saying that you have to do anything. It's all optional.
I don't know why someone would go without a food processor. There are cheap varieties and then great ones that will also do slicing/dicing for you.
Bake = needing a baking sheet. Pick your complaint.
@@itsaplantlife9850 about the cheap processors, could you write a link please?
Ahh so happy you liked it!!!
Dates are a really good substitue for butter honeslty.
I used sea salt, the brownies came out a bit salty so I would recommend if your using sea salt, 0-1/2 salt if needed.
I made these and dam it is delicious. I am generally not into healthy stuff but yoh this is yuuuuuummmmmmm!!!!!!!!
omg thanks for making a vegan recipe!!! :D it looks awesome!

They look so beautiful 💗
My fiance will love this 😍.
I just made these and they are AMAZING, YUM, and took me less than 10 min.
Glad you liked the recipe and great tips for alterations :)
Hot Chocolate Hits Kisses❤❤

*but I wanted to see you blend them in the processor, woman* 😳
that looks fantasticccc
I've tried and failed at SO MANY vegan recipes that I've kinda given and didn't have high hopes for these so I made them and OMG they taste absolutely amazing their SOOOO fudgy a little does go a LONG way I ate maybe a 2by2 piece and ooof I could barely finsih it their SOOOO filling and good thy taste a lot like dark chocolate brownies which I love because their not too sweet , man please give them a try !
Tried these a few days ago and they are so good! I used a nut mix and it already had added salt in it (which I didn’t know) so my brownies turned out a little salty. They were still delicious though. Thank you for sharing this recipe with us!
So glad you liked these!
Love this recipe! 💕
"Not taste free" I'm in!!😋
Opens fridge to find out if I have all the ingredients: 👁👄👁
Thanks for the recipe!
To anyone who wants to make this, I recommend cutting the salt and chia seed amount in half, or not include them at all ♥️
i made these and were so delicious i think now when ever i will crave for chocolate im gonna make this and eat it trust me it was sooo good and every one in my home liked this
What could you replace dates with??
I was thinking the same thing. I really dislike dates. I kinda feel this is mess up the brownie
Ill just use butter🤣
rose quartz Haha meee! I’m not actually vegan/gluten free/or vegetarian but sometimes I search for those recipes cuz I want something healthier. And theyll use a replacement I dont wanna have to buy so I’m like “eh I’ll just use milk/butter”
Maybe prunes? They have a powerful flavor though... I also have a problem with dates...
Why is this in my recommendations in 2020😂
Lol I'm also here in 2020😱 24 April to be exact #lockdown TH-cam binge
Has anyone actually tried this recipe is it actually nice???
Yasmin Hussain was scrolling through the comments trying to find out if they’re worth making or not 🤣
fatima zara 😂 same I just feel like they’ll be too sweet and sickly, I just want a true honest review
Yasmin Hussain ended up giving in and making them: wouldn’t recommend, had one and spat it out🤣 they don’t taste like brownies at all
fatima zara that’s such a shame but oh well thanks for trying them out, you saved me a lot of ingredients
The most wonderful recipe I have seen on the internet
hahaha glad you liked it!
"No sugar"
*adds agave syrup*
Will it be good if i don't make the gnaj ?
Yes :)
Wow looks awesome!
Thank you! They taste pretty awesome too ;)
This is a delicious dessert recipe. I’m especially happy it is plant based. Your clear presentation makes it look so easy to make. I appreciate you sharing with me. I also make Plant based recipe videos. I love living the plant powdered life. I hope we can learn from each other!
Thanks so much!! So glad you liked it!
I have all of the ingredients in my pantry and I wanted brownies soooooooo badly. You do not know how happy you made me❤❤❤❤❤
Ahh so glad you liked!!!
These look amazing but I hate dates like with a passion anything I could sub them for loved the video though ❤️
Haha you can try and replace them! And thanks for watching and subscribing :)
You mean just not add anything them? Would that make this brownies a lot less chewy?
Omg same but i don’t know how to replace it with
Lucia Zunino I know I’m late to the conversation but would a banana work?
Agreed :)
sadly I hate dates and I think the brownies would taste like them 😭 I would've loved the recipe I think, great work anyways! 😁
You can replace the dates with prunes or figs. You won't really taste the dates, to be honest, I'm not too fond of eating dates plain, but I love them in desserts! :)
Hot Chocolate Hits Ok now that you say it, I think I will try the recipe with dates and just see if I like it. Thank you for the response! :D
Hot Chocolate Hits what about bananas? Do they do the job?
I just made these today (and i hate dates too, when u eat them by itself) but you really DO NOT taste the dates!!!! Pretty amazing
I've just made it and it's amazing and so easy. I've made some healthy brownies but baked and not very tasty. I really love this, thanks for sharing 😊
Just made these and they are AMAZING!
Ahh happy to hear you liked them, Courtney :)
