Due to an accident, I wound up permanently in a wheelchair, a MANUAL wheelchair. Every time I wear one out, and go to get a prescription and evaluation for another one the doc offers to switch me to a scooter. Never! Never will I do that. I see what happens to people in scooters. They become whales. I'm normal sized, and would never give up the cardio and upper body exercise in my manual. I go where ever I need to, do whatever I choose, and aside from living life at butt level, I have a normal life. I advise these fat-disabled folk to get out of the scooter and get a quality manual chair and strengthen themselves. I'm 63 years old and I know I'm a lot healthier than the young lady in this video.

Near where I live this 18 year old girl bought a mobility scooter in university. I saw here everyday riding past my house on it and she got incredibly fat from basically riding everywhere. The worst thing is she always came back witch pizzas McDonald’s crisps. I don’t know why she would do that when she is so young?

I see these people and they WRECK the wheels and the whole systems on these carts, yet you never see managers telling them they're too heavy for the carts...no, they just let the store buy more and more new carts. No WAY is it cost effective to provide people like this with a shopping cart that cost 1000X what they spend in the store! The last time I tried to use one of those carts, it kept stopping because it was so rickety and I'd have to move to make it start up again, so I just left! Now, I just don't even GO to the store if my knee is acting up!
