Solo'd him easily as warrior Flammetal armor, ashen cape, primal berserkir axes, flammetal shield, Nidhog the thundering. Preparation : destroy all spawners around the area. Rest the night away from him and fight at dawn with rested buff. Fight : First 5 min : Bonemass, fire res potions, lingering stamina and health potions and BLINDLY SPAM ATTACK WITH BERSERKIR AXES. TOOK OUT HALF HIS HEALTH. Bonemass on cooldown : Nidhog the thundering along with shield, and play the parry game. Dodge the spike attack but block everything else. Fader dies within 15 min.

I managed to solo him easily, but it took a ridiculous amount of preparation. Outside Fader's spawn point, I had several tall towers. I scaled one of them and built an outpost at the top with an upgraded portal to my base. I then expanded around the base with a raised earth wall. I then extended that wall to completely encircle Fader's spawn except for 1 opening into my base outside. Then I built a few pens for breeding my 1 star asksvin and a hatchery. Waited until I had at least 20 of my 1 star asksvin in the arena and then I summoned Fader. They were able to kill him solo, I just had to stay alive. So if you want easy mode and you are crazy patient, it is an option. 😂
Yeah i did see someone explain the same tactics in comment section, and yeah i works i just wanted to do it in "by the book' way but yeah if someone can't defeat fader use this guys tactics. And ty for leaving a useful tip here stranger.
Faced fader solo with just a 1-star bloodgeon and lvl 3 flametal armor set died once XD. Didnt do that much prep. I was thinking of just making a army of 2 asksvin to slaughter fader but that would take the fun out.
Did you do that before nerf or after?? And yeah asksvin army is op but boring i somewhat recently soloed him on hardcore same thing he is not difficult u just need to watch out.
i think the best way to defeat him is to raise the ground arond the arena , and use 40 2 star asksvin , with the staff of protection , but i don't know the minimum number of askvins to kill him instantly . I copied this method from yagulth with the 2 star wolves
Yeah someone mentioned that to me in the comments they used 30 of them and it is a good strategy if you cant kill him but i do prefer to fight the guy instead.
You have to have the loudest clicky switches I think I've ever heard. xD Not trying to be mean, but this is why most content creators use linear switches. Also because clicky switches are absolutely disgusting, but that may or may not just be an opinion. Lol
Good god mate. Yeah, please get yourself something new. Most manufacturers have started to figure how to make keebs that are not complete garbage finally, and they are relatively cheap. Around $100 USD can get you something more suitable. I can personally recommend the Epomaker E80 or their new Tilt 75 I believe it's called. Both are very nice. :)

@ProfessionalMage I decided to go the melee mage route. Running with the lightning axe pair, warrior pants, mage coat and hood, bubble staff and with the new lightning staff. Most fun i ever had!

you can suppress spawns around the boss arena using camp fires, until the boss nukes them anyway..

i just defeated fader recently like last week. so i think it was after the nerf ?

Do what I did, just dig a pit and drop in 30 Askvin eggs, and cook them till they're adults, then summon the boss and watch him die in 15 sec's.
Newer heard of it sounds like big brain tactics, but this way is more fun and by the book as people would say.

It is on the crossing of mistlands and snow biom so mobs don't spawn there and don't go there often just some wolfs from time to time .
Another trick is to build it on a narrow cliff and put a very narrow path to get to it. Heavily limits enemy spawn's and accessibility.
