Ashlands Boss Complete Guide and Analysis Valheim

This video is a short deep-dive into Valheim's new Ashland Boss, Fader: The Emerald Flame. In this video we break down all of the stats and attacks while discussing the best armour, bows, arrows, melee, and magic weapons to take on this enemy.

Stat units:
- the armour numbers are the weighted average damage per hit
- the weapon and bow numbers are the weighted average damage per second calculated from the time it takes to kill the enemy (star variants included when applicable) via every attack pattern with the weapon at skill level 50
- arrow numbers are simply the damage dealt to the enemy with that arrow

Pretty Sure Fader has 2 spawn locations, My world has 2 major Ashland Island and both of them have a Fader Alter. Being how small the Ashlands is, Fader doesnt have any many possible spawn locations as Queen, Yag, Elder (with 4 alters), Bonemass (with 5 Skulls), Eikthyr & Moder (3 alters)
EDIT: Apparently, Fader has 5 Possible spawn locations. Valheim World Maps website is updated to Ashlands and each world can get 5 alters

Awesome video! just curious where you got the 8% increased damage scaling per additional player number from? On the valheim wiki it says 4% and im not sure who to trust :))

@@back-to-basics-gaming no worries! I also found the staff of the wild quite useful actually! he seems to target the roots with a few of his spells instead of the player (such as meteors and wall of fire). You can see this happening at 7:24 and 7:32.

@@JaySoccerM That's true. When I said that staff was pretty much useless I was referring to near the end of the fight when the whole arena is on fire and the roots die instantly. I probably should have been more clear.

How would a squad of about 12 1 star askvans fair? could you do the same thing as with the troll summons?

So Fader does target them unlike the trolls so they only last until the AOE attacks really start coming out around 55% health. So they can help speed up the first half of the fight but you'll have to do the harder half still.
