Maybe the reason some constantly break axels and others don’t is cause they have the same idea as you and go for junkyard axels lol. I bought my 86 used with 7k miles. Lowered within the first 1-2,000 miles on it. Now at 19k+ with no issues other than my alignment going totally outta wack one time, pretty sure it was one of the toe arms. All I have is rear lcas and toe arms. 0 axel problems so far and I swung it a couple times. Abouta starting doing auto cross so I guess we’ll see how it really holds out now.

I have this weird sound that comes from my driver front wheel. It only happens every once in a while but randomly when I'm driving I'll hear a loud chirp. Only started once I got my wheels. Some days it does it, some days it doesn't. Any idea what it could be?

How much did they charge you to do it at a shop? We talking a couple hundred or upwards of a thousand? NVM just reach the next part of the video, thank you 😅 So do you recommend doing this then when you go lower? I wasn’t planning on being slammed though
There's no one to really trust in installing risers where I live we all lower cars like men😤 funny thing is none of my friends nor I have had this issue so far and we all pray we never get into it, I'm the lowest out of all of them, but not slammed
i have this mod and ive only broken like two axles so far compared to 8 when i didnt have the risers in i also drift my car as well haha peep my ig @jdm_alvin
If you didn't know that excessive camber can destroy axles you don't need to be slamming your car. Chris doesn't even have his set as high as some of you idiots do and he still broke his. This is why I hate seeing cars with 15 degrees of negative camber because it does so much damage to suspension components and ride quality
u cant be driving fast when u have a slammed frs the axles destroy themselves i always drive the speed limit or 5 under and for 3 years my oem axles are still fine
@@miguelfragoso7023 i’m all that i’m static but my friend goes 80 and he’s gone through 4 sets already and actually he recently raised it up a good amount like half from stock and his axle blew on him cuz he drives fast all the time

Like I said it depends some cars have it bad some don’t. Some people on springs get the issue and some people on coils don’t it’s weird.

I wouldn’t stress it if you don’t plan to go really low. If you plan to be like hella low then yes I recommend it haha.

Depends man. For the most part you should be good but in rare cases i’ve heard people break them on springs.

Ride quality I didn’t feel a difference. It’s more noisy though and “clunky” since they’re solid bushings.

Not true. Nothing to do with speed limits and all to do with hooning, being slammed, clutch dumping, etc.
