Fabulous! Made this last night. We did a small roast and lamb steaks (all prepped the same way) but pressure cooked them for 70 minutes. So tender and flavorful. I would have never thought to add lemon but it really does enhance the flavor!
Pete, I’m not sure where you came up with that recipe or found it but what a gentleman for sharing. I have lamb on sale this week at the supermarket and was going to slow cook a leg, usually delicious but it has to sit in the oven in my Staub dish for eight hours running on low and things like that at the moment cost more than a lot of people can afford, I’m lucky to be able to afford that this week, and I’m so pleased I can get the same results of an eight hour slow cook in 90mins flat over gas with my pressure cooker pot. Oh and I have to make special mention to the gravy, tasty, simple and not a drop left. Thank you again and you’ll be pleased I invited my family and we ate the whole dish with green beans and herb roasted potatoes. You have a new subscriber here!
turkey baster to remove the non fatty parts of the broth, genius! i usually put it in the fridge and lift the hockey puck of fat off the top but this is great if u need it de-fatted ASAP
It's so good! I think lamb is cheaper here in Australia than it is in the States, it's very popular and is eaten as part of the regular dinner here. I love the lamb here. :-)
Manually PRESSURE COOK on high for 90 minutes. PRESSURE COOK is the setting on the Instant Pot, and there isn't a specific temperature, like you need when roasting in the oven. Looks absolutely delicious...thank you for sharing 👍
Thanks for visiting! 👍🏻
@@petersfoodadventures
You are welcome...my pleasure 👍
Can I use a slow cooker in stead and if so how long, high or low?
Yum looks great!
Thanks Ksenia! I love lamb that falls apart and is full of flavor!!!
Love the herbs you used and how you did the gravy😋first time I did lamb was stove top and didn’t turn out all that great but now I know why!
Thanks! Hope you enjoy the recipe! :-)
thank you!!
Funny to see you have Australian olive oil there...and I also have the same Costco pepper as you as well lol
Man this looks delicious! I will try and cook it and post it on my channel!
I'm terrified but I definitely want to try it
I tried it but I overcooked it on high within an hour. The meat was fine but the gravy was ruined. I'll try it on medium heat next time.
Loved the video! I really really want to make this! 💓
Thanks Val, please do! It's so tasty!
Interesting recipe I like Greek origano over rosemary instead of wine use whiskey.
Would it dry up if I let the steam out naturally?
no, I think it should be fine
Hi, compared to an oven roast , is the taste semilar ???
yes, but it is fall apart tender, a roast is more tough.
yum!
Legend has it, this dude still hasn't peeled the protective plastic off the Instant pot
haha, very true. you should see my couch 🤣 j/k
I don’t have fresh rosemary, will dried work?
yes! that's totally fine!
Do you think this would work with roast beef ?
definitely!
@@petersfoodadventures would the timing be the same as well 90min or longer due to less fat in Beef?
I have always made the beef at 90 minutes also. It pulls apart nicely for me :-)
how did you do the vegetables?
I drizzled them with Olive Oil and roasted them in the oven with seasonings. :-)
Maybe one day when we can afford more than a hamburger and chicken diet!

@@petersfoodadventures Lamb is expensive here in the States and hard to find. Its fun to watch your videos though, yum!
This doesn't over cook it? I hear a lean roast can still get over cooked and dry despite being fall apart in a pressure cooker.
I want to know about the veggies! That's what made me click 😭
They were just tossed in olive oil and roasted in the oven for 30 minutes.
Is it me or did he not say the temperature?
