    Great job! I liked that you highlighted that not all customers have the budget for making good all the time etc! Often we get criticised and labelled as cowboys when actually it often comes down to clients requests and budgets!

      Exactly mate, not everything can be all singing all dancing, you just got to do what you can do to meet the clients budget

    Plumbing is a dream and a nightmare at the same time. FACT. Leaks are a part of life. To fix them is another story.

    Did you spot your mistake on the syphon? Sorry but you called the flush valve a fill valve. Just so the apprentices don’t get muddled. Nice vid mate and good advice. 👍

      My invoices and quotes are payment on completion if its a ball valve or new boiler I will happily stand there after saying how do you want to pay, can't go to get food and say I will pay you next week simple as that.

    It is a siphon as the fill valve is the smaller plastic nut to the left!

    Why not use the Triton easyfit, they are cheap and you don't have to mess about with the pipes

    • @actorlyric
      @actorlyric 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I would of done exactly the same as you said.
      What they saved in tbe shower they lost on the labour.

    • @actorlyric
      @actorlyric 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Triton Easy fit T80Z or Mira Jump no pipework alterations.
      Instead of using a compression elbow use a bent iso valve that way you've got local isolation.
      Using the existing shower hose & handset will invalidate the warranty if they have an issue with the shower.
      If you sell the shower as a direct replacement instead of cheap as chips they'll understand the benefits and cheaper labour as less work to do.

    • @SmartPipePlumbing
      @SmartPipePlumbing  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All a cost thing mate customer wanted it as cheap as possible, I wouldn’t change any more for fitting the enrich as I would the t80z easi fit or the jump
