Mark, love the double drone shots, first showing the yardage and second one closing out your video. It gives your viewers good perspective of the distance you are shooting. Fantastic, by the way, shooting over 1 1/2 plus miles. The groups are great and your first shots all were in the zone. Thanks to both of you for another great video.
Thanks so much for all your work on this. I have been debating between 230 and 250 a-tips for my 300 prc 1:8.5 twist 30" barrel Savage Elite Precision. Your video helped a lot to show that the 250 is stable at ELR.
I just tried the 190 Atips last weekend in my 7 mag got a second round impact at a mile. The BC was very close to advertised only took me 15.5 mils to a mile. Great shooting and love your videos.
MarkandSam AfterWork How do you feel about the lighter 230 (lower BC obviously). Running faster seems like if you can get the speed it might be better ballistically?
Speed v BC is always one of the details, really depends on all the other details, you would need to run the maths or test on yours, with these rifles and this combo the BC wins, Cheers
Darn good shotting and also . . . . darn you are saying the WM outperformes the PRC, and ps nice hidden reloading advice in there for a person that does not give those up :) keep it coming guys - and thx for sharing - keep up you great work.
Thanks Oddur and well not out performed, just more suited to the heavier pills better, and legal/safety reasons for not sharing powder weights......glad you liked, Cheers
Great job team you be cool a tes between a 230gr berger hybrid target and a 230gr hornady atip i dont know what to chose between these 2 for my rem700 5r 300winmag 1.10twist cant stop watching your video great content 👌👍
Awesome Channel, I've learned a lot. I've also purchased your adjustable bag base, it's awesome! A few of my buddies have built our first ULR rifles. They are all using the 300 win mag and I have gone with the 300PRC with a 26" barrel. We are in the process of pushing out to 2,000. Longest shot so for is 1,230 yards with factory ammo. No issues. I'm working up loads with the 225eld, 230 Atip and the 250 Atip. Any advice or load data you'd be willing to share?
Sounds great, we have videos on how to find load data, if after more info than that, consider becoming a 4AW member, we don't offer loads but can help find info, Cheers
I shot these and also experienced slightly tight bolt lift at 2741 fps with 77 grains of retumbo in my 300PRC. Going to do another ladder test from 74.5gr - 76gr retumbo, seems like the sweet spot for my gun is in there somewhere
Would love to hear your thoughts on 250 Atips vs 245 Bergers when you have solid data with both. The 250s BC look better on paper, but the proof is in the pudding!
Great shooting!! Impressive. Silly question…I’m shooing the 390gn A tips in my 375 Cheytac. I like them so far but testing is early. You have any experience with that projectile? Thank you!
@@markandsamafterwork Thanks for the quick reply. That’s basically where I was leaning. Have some other projectiles I’m planning to try after barrel break in. Happy shooting from Texas!
Very surprising the 300prc took less powder than the 300wm, i thought the prc cartridge was larger. Not sure why everyone is so keen on going the prc way over the wm... latest and greatest I guess. I'll stick with the tried and true 300wm. Noce demonstration guys, cheers!
Hey mark, great shooting man! Quick question: I’m going through the process of having a 300PRC built up for me, for purpose of long range shooting, instead of hunting or PRS type events. Would you say that the PRC is superior to the 300WM and 300RUM when using the 225 eldm or 230 atips? Personally I would like velocities closer to the 3000fps mark, but I know I’m then venturing towards the 33XC type cartridges (it’s not mandatory for me to have 3000fps) - what would your thoughts be? TIA
We do not offer powder loads (safety) otherwise all the info is in the start of the video, the brake is one from our webstore, link below video, Cheers

Hey Mark those were damn respectable results mate. Fair play i say. Keep dropping hammers!
Thanks Rob, Cheers
Fantastic job mate! I remember seeing these when they came out and how excited I was to see them on the market. Looks like they do a bang up job.
Yep, Cheers
Good results with either cartridge, both seem to group really nice.

That's what happens when you use doppler to develop your bullets! You get very accurate information to pass on to the consumers.
Now that was some very impressive shooting
Cheers Stirling, Thanks

They live in the long ranger heaven.
Lol, cheers
Good old 300 Win Mag. I wouldn't have expected it to do better than the PRC on pressure with the same amount of powder. Proof's in the pudding though.
All explained in previous videos, glad you liked, Cheers
Those previous video links below the video, Cheers
Jealous of your open country. Grouped really well. Excellent shooting as always.

Those bullets looked like they still had some energy at 2800 yards. That is almost as impressive as the shooting.
Sure did, glad you liked, Cheers
Great shooting!! Impressive.

great video

Great review. Do you think these projectiles would stabilise in a 300wm 1 in 10 twist 24 inch barrel? I'm thinking not.
No they wouldn't in that, 230's might, Cheers
Did u get good groups at a 100 yards or did u have to shoot further to get them to group
Both have 1/4" 100 yard groups
Молодец!

Yes, good cartridge, all explained in other videos, Cheers
