The Pulsar Xboard QS is one of the weirdest, interesting, coolest keyboards I've ever seen. I never thought the day would come when we saw a keyboard with a KVM built into it but here we are. This keyboard was designed for enthusiasts and 2 PC streamers, a super niche group of gamers, but I managed to find some uses for this thing outside of gaming 😁

Why so expensive? Logitech G Pro X Superlight
What a bargain. Is there any mouse like this that mimics that of the Razer Viper v3 Pro?
When turning on bluetooth pairing mode by pressing mouse 4&5 button and the scroll wheel, the manual says that the scroll wheel and the razer logo both light up, but in my mouse only the razer logo lights up. Is it tge case with you as well?
can u review their keyboard
The keyboard is actually insane and has a lot of features that no other top keyboards have, but it is not hall effect. Not having rapid trigger for competitive gaming nowadays is definitely a nono. fire kb tho 🔥
This is an interesting idea. Nowadays its not uncommon for a keyboard to allow multiple connection types. I just tried switching between devices on My keychron Q1 HE. It supports 3 different Bluetooth settings, USB C, and 2.4 hz dongle. Between the dongle and USB C It switches nearly instantly. Pretty much as soon as I can move my hand back from selecting the side switch. Between one of the 3 Bluetooth settings it does take about 1 second. The only downside being a less than Ideal switch button location.
One massive thing in my opinion that these review videos miss out on talking about in regards to AMD ReLive is that it does not automatically make a folder for each game and save accordingly unlike Shadow Play which does. Shadow plays system makes for easy management of clips and easy viewing of clips.
how about Pulsar X2V2 vs Pulsar Xlite V3 any suggest? thanks
It all comes down to shape, my friend. They'll function identically, they have the same sensor/interals but if your a fan of ergo shapes then the Xlite v3 might be more your style. I usually end up using symmetrical mice, personally
@@TheRageAcademy Thanks for the answer and i still dont know what shape I comfortable with 😂 but I guess iI havee to try some more myself. Thank a lot sir 😁
@@NoSmokingStudioOne No problemo man. The best thing I can tell you is to look at the return policy of whatever you get. Pulsar has a pretty good return policy if you buy from their website. It's also good on amazon. That way if you don't like it you can just send it back and try another
Tell me guys which model or firm are the best of magnetic keyboard? Rage Academy, what kind of keyboard do you use? I prefer with numpad, but there is no wireless keyboard with numpad and magnetic switches. That's why i am trying to choose between of what market has
The Two HE is really the only option imo. It’s miles ahead of competition, especially with the webUI and firmware. I daily drive the two he when I’m not testing other keyboards as I prefer having a numpad. It’s the best full sized keyboard I’ve ever owned
@TheRageAcademy Thanks for the answer a lot.
@@nikitae.6687 no problemo mang
I loved way you did this review))) was funny)), like from RS Games)))
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great review! I ended up going with the 80he but depending on how I like it, this will def be on my radar
My 80HE came in last week and I’ve been like it so far. It’s had a couple of issues here and there but nothing I haven’t been able to tackle. The Xboard is awesome but it’s so niche that it’s hard to recommend against other competitors in the same price range like the 80HE and Boog75
At this price it should be a rapid trigger board and should have a hard case rather than a bag. Also dual PC streaming has been less and less necessary over the years so the dual connection thing is pretty niche. Other than that it is a very nice board.
Believe it or not, I actually prefer the carrying bag. I usually put everything in my laptop bag on my way to work. All my hard cases have been sitting around but I end up using the velvet sleeve almost everyday. That’s just me though, I totally get where you’re coming from. And yeah, 2 PC streaming definitely seems to be on its way out especially with Nvenc encoding maturing and the 5000 series GPUs on the horizon. None the less, still a pretty neat little device
all good, But the price tag, no thanks
Just wait until we get the Azoth in. That’s $500 💀💀
I like how it looks, although the price is.. yeah
Early yipeee
Hi I wanna ask will I get banned in fps games for using this keyboard’s function like rapid trigger?
Nah, rapid trigger won’t get you banned. There’s a new(ish) feature a lot of boards are utilizing called SOCD which is different than rapid trigger and the only game that’s come forward and said it’s “kickable” is csgo2. Hope this helps!
@@TheRageAcademy thanks a lot for the quick reply! I’m mainly playing valorant so it should be fine right?
You will be absolutely a-okay. Rapid trigger is allowed in all fps games. It’s a really great feature for counter strafing
seriously - that thing looks exactly like my pulsar x2v2 wtf??? do you think that they are the same mice? i mean the x2v2 cost me like 110€...i am really thinking about to send it back and try to get my hands on the kysone. are there any differences?
so is the x6 better than the x3? I was thinking about grabbing the x2 clear for my daily and the x6 in black for gaming, with both bases side by side. People were saying the x6 was pretty amazing and there's literally no need to get the razer v3 or anything else like that, including the others such as sora v2, dragonfly and so on.. there's a bunch of 3395 variants so my goal is to find the most properly tuned variant with a base.
This and the K699d are incredibly impressive. I'm considering the K688 but I feel the body of it is too resonant
I’m actually working on a review for the k688 right now
@@TheRageAcademy great! Looking forward to it!
Pushing the scroll wheel to the left or right that’s another customizable option. I customized mine: left - minimize all windows, and right - lock screen
a year ago i would have said the same, 60% is just too small but now with the 80 HE, where you have the important functionality but on a smaller footprint with better sound and feel I would always jump towards the 80 HE for most people
There are some reviewries who said that they got it for free, but you are trully underrated. One question i have a Logitech Pro superlight should i switch?
its like Redragon, increptil hardware and rly cheap
3 layers of tape and some thin foam in the case will fix the tin sound
Is it possible to replace the internals with better parts possibly from a better mouse?
Possibly but probably not. You’d have to find a board with a better sensor that fits the foot print
@@TheRageAcademy thank you so much!
how to find the software
Great mouse, i use it with my artisan zero
Really wish Logitech would bring back the g700s but obviously updates
Underrated channel cant lie
The only problem I have is that it's too small for my hands, I wish they would make a medium-sized version of the mouse.
Had a Razer Viper Ultimate, a 150$ mouse. The X3 has better build quality, more features and the sensor feels just as good as Razer's flashily marketed one. I paid like 25$ shipped for the X3. Yes, if you buy big brand stuff, you are getting ripped off
Yeah now it’s 40 bucks 😭
Great quality video. I am SUBBING :D!
Thanks man 😁
Is it worth getting
@@tobbytz if you like the design and it’s on sale, I think so. But if you’re someone who prefers lighter mice, I think there’s better options. But it’s perfectly fine for most things
I bought my x3 5months ago. The battery is not charging properly. May I ask how to fix it?
I have almost every button programmed un r6 siege 😅 just to have the malee, the cams and the gadgets and click them quicker Oh, the side leaning too
i own 1 of these mouse (atk shark x3), and my biggest issue is it doesnt work sometimes, the software will say that the "DEVICE IS SLEEPING" and the pointer wont move and it does not even interact though i already turned it on (dongle mode), even when using the wired mode (USB C cable) it works but only the pointer will move but the clicks are very jittery/stuttery that it became very frustating to use it.
I really like my AM8 so far I got it on sale with a boom mic for $47
I have one. It's awesome
What's the latency on it??
100% Logitech and Razee give an advantage technicaly but with an over price !!! So in my opinion, if you are a casual player go with this type of mice, it's awesome quality price ..
Way overpriced and outdated.
I'm stuck between getting this mic and the AM8 which one would you recommend, I will only be using it while gaming and such.
The AM8 has better build quality but doesn’t have software. The software features on the Maono are pretty decent and allow you to EQ your voice for discord/streaming. If you’re a mic newbie, I’d probably go with the PD200x so you can EQ your voice via their software
Man, this mouse looks so good but it's a shame it's small. I have fairly large hands and am already cringing about the cramping I would get using it lol
No pt 3 lol
My only question is who was the perp?
I USE ALL 13 buttons for editorial typesetting work (InDesign and Photoshop!)
56 gram that is in the heavier side of the spectrum, now a days😆🤣 I don't think i could ever go back to a 50+ gram mouse, 50 is for me the new maximum🤣
@@bergdk237 disagree. Most mice available for sale are between 65-80g. At least for big brands. Most pro players have a desired weight of about 65g from different companies research. I’d really classify anything under 65g as lightweight.
@@TheRageAcademy For me that was like 2-3 years ago. I see plenty of good quality mice at around 50 grams or lower on the marked! Sure pro players👍tend to stick with what they know, like gpro superlight or Razer, but many of them also get sponsored from those big brands. From what i see withing the mice entusiast & reviewer community, & other high level players in like Apex Legends that i watch/follow (not necessary pro players) many of them use and enjoy superlight mice 50 grams or lower. I do not really buy mice from the typical big brands anymore, like Razer, Logitech, SteelSeries ect. I buy from Lamzu, Endgame Gear, Wlmouse, Pulsar and more. All those are pretty well know now, Just not as BIG. I only own mice under 60gram, but only use the mice at around 50 gram, with my lightest being 35gram.😄 So for me 65 gram is not classified as lightweight anymore, but that is just me😄🙃 In the end i'm just glad to see we have so many options today!😁
@@bergdk237 I agree. I’m glad there’s so many options. Back in my day, 100g mice were the usual you see. It’s great you bring up Pulsar! The information I told you about pro players comes directly from their team I communicate with. They told me most pros prefer 65g and avoid ultra superlight mice. So what they do is take a mouse like the X2H, which has a weight of like 53ish grams and modulate the weight with a larger battery and other bits to reach that 65g weight. The pros wanted it to be heavier so pulsar obliged, designed it with them, and marked the mouse as the XH2 ES Variant. A lot of pros don’t buy into the super ultralight category of mice which I consider anything under the 45g weight. A lot of that ties into marketing but at the end of the day, I’m a firm believer in “What ever works best for you is the best” whether it be the 110g g502 lightspeed or the 25ish g zero mouse
@@TheRageAcademy Oh wow did not know that😆 I wonder why 65 gram🤔 What is so special about that number 😄 Oh well good for them. I will continue with using & enjoying my superlight 35 gram WLmouse beastX mini & Endgame gear op 8k wired 51 gram mice, performing my best ever and the feeling using superlight is awesome😄
@@TheRageAcademy Hah yeaH the logitech g502 was one of my first gaming mice, besides the razer Deathadder. But i quickly switched over to Zowie before they merged with BenQ. Using the FK1 and FK2. I used the FK2 for years.
Subbed good content. Simple explanation and informative. Keep it up!
Thanks man 🙏
I whish they would build a mouspad like logitec for automatically charge while gaming ...
This mouse is just a rebadged MCHOSE AX5 btw, this noir brand rlly likes to rebrand stuff from china.
Just double checked his comment and it's the truth, they are also charging $100 more than the asking price on taobao, it's a 30 ish dollar mouse there lol
I’ll be damned. He’s right. But their price is $90 not $30. I also don’t think you get all the add ons like the case, glass skates, and grip tape, so assuming the Noir M2 MG is on sale, the price delta is about the same. Good find, Vtubeaddict2977
