เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 9 เม.ย. 2010
The Rage Academy is a TH-cam Channel dedicated to gaming content.
On this channel, we're on a never-ending quest for the best wireless gaming mouse, the best gaming monitor, & the best gaming headphones, We regularly post reviews about gaming mice, gaming keyboards, gaming monitors, microphones, gaming headphones, mouse pads, mouse mods, and anything I can get my hands on.
In addition to gaming tech reviews, I also post educational tutorial videos about video production, live streaming, editing, graphic design, and animation. If you need any help with your videos or stream, let me know! I'd love to help out.
You'll also find entertaining clips of me and my buddies playing different games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends, Battlebit, CSGO, Battlefield, and other FPS shooter games. I will occasionally stream on Twitch and on TH-cam (simultaneously, ask me how and I'll make a video about it). If you need help setting up your gaming live stream, let me know!

Budget Gaming Keyboard with a SCREEN?
Hey guys,
Today we're taking a look at the XVX K75 Pro. The screen on this thing is what originally held my interest, but the sound is what held my attention. Over all, it was a very unique keyboard. I've never seen one before with user-expandable batteries before... so weird...

Better than the Logitech G502 Lightspeed?
What version should I buy?
🤯
which specific model do you recommend? there's the r1 se (which is out of stock), r1 se+, r1, r1 pro, and r1 pro max
Can you set up RGB backlighting with the LOTR models?
what about attack shark x3 pro? 😓
do all basilisk v3 models do that or just the Pro? I'm thinking of getting the Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed
are you still using it and if yes is the mouse wheel as horrendous as the pulsar x2v2 mini ? like does it actually scroll unlike that piece of junk from pulsar that cost 110e ? even if i only paid 70 on sales it still pisses me the fuck out because it's outrageous to pay that much and not have a decent mousewheel ... it's literally unusable and tried every fix i could find online... Im still looking at option but yeah this one seem to be really interesting... i just wish reviews would be made after like 6 months or somethig so we'd know if there will be issues to come. Got fucked once ain't letting that happen a second time
So you really don't recommend the attack shark x3 any more after ATK launching the series ? I'm thinking of buying the shark x3, because the delivery would take only 1 day, but the vxe r1, r1 pro would take longer. If there is a huge gap between them in performance, I can wait till 9th February to get either r1 or r1 pro. Last thing, I play R6 and Valo, would I notice any difference between r1 , r1 pro , attack shark x3 ? Keep up the good work bro. 💪
I honestly think either would serve well. People have reported connection issues with the X3 since posting the video but I have not experienced any issues with either of my X3's or the ATK. The internals of the mice are very similar, so the raw performance you're getting is going to be the same with either mouse. Best piece of advice I can give you is that if you know there's a shape you really like, go to Eloshapes.com and compare both the shapes against the one that you like. That way, you'll probably be more comfortable with your pick. Shape is king, after all. R6 is my jam. I have about 2,000 hours on it. I think any of the mice you listed would work just fine. No mouse will ever make you better at the game, just fine tune your raw skill that's already there. Basically TL:DR - Shape is king and will make the biggest impact on your playing. The internals of all the mice are similar enough that you'll be getting the sameish performance out of all of them. Hope this helps man!
@TheRageAcademy Thanks a lot for your great response.
What do you recommend if I change from viper mini between vxe r1 pro and attack shark x3
Attack shark is going to have the most similar mouse profile to that one. If you're super comfy on the Viper mini, then I'd say go for the X3. If you want a new shape to play with, try out the R1. You can compare any mouse shape against the viper mini here - Eloshapes.com
@ Thanks
Wait what?! @1:46
Hi bro, Hope ur doing fine. Im considering to buy VXE r1 but Im worry about its battery timing is it good enough? I work about 5-6 hours daily on my computer
Battery should still be pretty good. Either the 250mah or 500mah variants should work fine as long as you’re running 1k polling. Since there’s no RGB it should last awhile, probably only needing weekly charges
@TheRageAcademy thank bro, You're one of the best youtubers.
@@Meteru-w2i you made my night. Thanks 🥰
Honestly, Im trying to find a mouse just like this, but with silent switches originally installed. Is it possible to purchase VXE R1 and swap them for some alternative cheap (but decent) silent switches ideally from aliexpress/temu?
As long as you’re handy with a soldering iron, absolutely. They’re analog switches so they’re pretty easy to swap out. Just 3 little prongs connected to the PCB. I highly recommend using a soldering sucker and desoldering wire
Your channel should get more love, you've gain a new sub, keep up! ❤️
Aww, thanks man. I really appreciate it
Thank you so much this actually helped out so much
I got u man
Hey man! Im really liking that chair.. can you let me know what it is and where you got it? Thanks!
Here you go man - tinyurl.com/Staples-Chair It's just a regular old Staple's computer desk chair (makes you a better gamer) In case the link doesn't work, it's the "Staples Lockland Ergonomic Leather Managers Big & Tall Chair" (I am not big nor tall)
HOW... HOW.. does a channel with this INMENSE PRODUCTION VALUE HAS ONLY 8.8K SUBS???, well I'm one more. Seriously, your videos put LTT or Hardware Canucks to shame, guess we just got late to the party huh?
You literally made my day. I get down sometimes due to lower viewership but kind comments like yours keep me going. Sincerely, thank you so much. 😊
@@TheRageAcademy Everytime, everyday sir, I watched 10+ videos regarding the Nuphy Field75HE keyboard and could not make my mind, it wasn't until I watched your video I finally decided to pull the trigger and the keyboard is coming in today. I really mean it, bigger channels with way bigger budgets don't have this level of production value OR THE CHARISMA TO PULL THIS OFF, seriously.
Lightspeed or plus please help me out
plus has RGB. That’s the only difference. Your hand ends up covering most of it too. So if you want RGB, go for that one
my shure sm58 sounds better than sm7b and i have them both
@@feetuppercut whhhhhhaaaaattt. You’re doing something… different then friend. Are you using a DB boost in between the signal from the sm7b to the preamp?
Really want this just for the mousepad I love the idea for never charging it. Might even keep the mousepad all the way in the back to hide cables and just use it to charge because my whole desk is a mouse pad I really gotta clean up my cable management. I haven’t managed them since I first built my pc and had them all over and kept adding to it 😂 I know I need to do better. 1 day I got some zip ties just not today 😂
I get that. Not needing to ever charge would be nice. I wish there was a universal option. I hate buying into the eco system stuff
nice video ! one question, I want to build my own custom keyboard with magnetic switches is this possible ? Because i haven't seen any videos about building something like this
Yeah, you’d have to start with a PCB. Wooting makes them and some others. I think Keychron and Akko do too. Then you’d have to find case support, but generally most Hall effect switches are supported in these PCBs. I say generally but you should always check the qualified vendor list from the manufacturer to double check. I know Wooting fully supports a lot of third party HE options. After that, it’s just picking out the keycaps
No I wouldn't say you're being ripped off buying a Superlight because you know what you're buying. You're buying an established brand name with all the associated costs it comes with and that includes the most important cost advertisement cost. If you see a product being advertised there's a high chance you can find a similar quality product for like half the price.
That’s actually pretty insightful. I haven’t heard the “you know what you’re buying” angle before. I guess for some people the piece of mind is worth it
@@TheRageAcademy Wasn't quite what I focusing on but yea. There's also a bragging aspect to it because pro's use it and it's expensive.
Yeah, they have the money to pay them pros off. Looking at you Shroud….
LOVE your videos, your edits and quality is a step above especially for your channel size. I was hoping you could do a reveiw of the swiftpoint Z2 because finding an indepth review on it is almost impossible, for its price I wanna know I'd it's quality before I buy. Thanks and I hope your channel keeps growing
Thanks man 😊 I really appreciate it!! I’ve wanted to do the swiftpoint z2 for a bit now. Unfortunately because I’m a one man marching band, I get swamped between YT, my day job, wife, and other responsibilities. I’m hoping I can get one to do though. Can’t guarantee when :(
Can you save the website to change your settings offline? If not wait until you lose internet or until the company goes bankrupt and tell me you love website settings over software.
This argument is dumb. You know the same thing applies for software once windows updates right? Eventually there won’t be support for it. There’s also a webUI and software. These are seriously the most cooked, frontal lobe missing, teenager touching gaming mouse for the first time ever arguments
@@TheRageAcademy Yea and there are totally not companies that have already moved to exclusively online only mouse software. Sorry to break it to you bro but (and I understand it's difficult because you're like mentally 12 or something) I can still launch literal GAMES from 2003 on my PC without any patches and you think I won't be able to launch mouse software? Even if I couldn't I could use a VM. What are you just going to download their entire site and host it yourself when it shuts down? But yea no a niche company going bankrupt? "WAAHHH IMPOSSIBLE WAAHHH" lmao.
@FatheredPuma81 heerr durrr lemme use compatibility mode to change my dpi by 100. It’s a bit disingenuous the way you describe it, not everything is guaranteed to work via windows compatibility mode. So yes, I would say that there’s no guarantee that it would work with mouse software. The fact is that most users will not need to use mouse software once the mouse is setup. What are you doing where you need to regularly use mouse software? If that’s the case, get something else. I think this is improvement though. I despise bloatware And again, both are offered. Go ahead and install all the bloatware you want on your computer. I don’t really care. And enjoy using your Logitech mouse in 2057? lol
@@TheRageAcademy Compatibility mode lmao it just works. I even use 5 year old software with my 5 year old keyboard. I'll eat my shoe if you can still configure this mouse on their website in 5 years. Download the software? Please provide software download link for Finalmouse thank you I can't find. You're pushing it like it should be the defacto option because of some sort of bloatware problem? Dude you can buy a hard drive for less than a meal at McDonalds and opening it in your browser will literally take more resources and time. The fact is a company's product doesn't just go poof when it goes bankrupt it remains up for sale until the stock is gone. That's not even mentioning they could at any moment discontinue the product and pull the page and there's not a thing you can do about it. Oh and ever heard of macros? Most mice support them and a lot of people use them. My keyboard ironically doesn't so yea I've gone through times where I open the software up a dozen times in a single day for weeks at a time.
Hey could you review the scyrox v6 mouse I've been seeing that mouse a lot and many says its great but I couldn't really decide and I think your reviews are honest and descriptive. Also I'm open to suggestions. I have a medium sized hand ı guess and ı use palm and claw grip.
Please review the yunzii yz98 with the coconut milk switch?
I have a yunzii rt68 on backlog right now. Unfortunately I am so over due with a lot of reviews
@@TheRageAcademy one day maybe keep on chugging dude and make your channel grow!
which glass skates would work on this mouse ? Pulsar X2 ?
I usually got with the superglide universal dot skates
do the cosmic byte pulse!!!!!!
yes you guys are getting ripped off. I have a mouse worth 949 rupees (11 dollars) . its the cosmic byte pulse. it supports up to 12400 dpi with 1k polling. 45 grams 220 ips tracking and 30g acceleration. it has the pixart 3327. it has a software support where u can lower down its response to 1ms. I don't like its rgb but I don't care about it as I don't use rgb. it arrived for me in 2 days. originally its listed for 12.75 dollars tho they add a coupon them selves and make it 11 dollars. for a budget gamer this was a big steal. u can use palm and hybrid both grips on this mouse. (i don't know how claw grip is so cant say anything about that)
Honestly, that’s perfectly fine for gaming. The tech hit a milestone awhile ago where the latency isn’t really perceivable to humans. I remember waaaaayy back in the early 2000’s that the mice we were using were first generation IR. We shill hit our headshots lol
go turned german so quick
need more views
I agree. No one is looking for a portable monitor lol
100 bucks. no.
I'm picking a mouse and thanks to you I might get the best choice ever
Glad I could help 😊
Hello, I am thinking of switching to this mouse from the GPX Superlight. I mainly use claw grip with it but sometimes it can be inconsistent mid game due to the back hump of the mouse. Will this mouse be the perfect choice? I'm looking forward to your reply
Perfect? I can’t guarantee that. The shape is more similar to a pulsar x2v2. Check out Eloshapes.com and compare the superlight and some other mouse options. Best advice I can tell you is make sure wherever you purchase has a good return policy. If you don’t like it immediately, send it back and try again
For the giveaway you should give this
Next giveaway is in discord. It’s to celebrate 6,969. We’re giving away some pulsar mice and custom art
@ oh that will be amazing man
LMAO what's that jab at bluetooth gaming? There's no real latency or connection issue with modern tech. You'd probably still not want it for tournaments considering good mice are already bluetooth so it saves a headache to not have the kb as well, but it's mostly likely fine. Even better with the provided dongles anyways, keeping that wireless.
Most cheaper wireless keyboards aren’t hitting 1k polling into the pc via Bluetooth. Do you think Bluetooth and 2.4ghz are the same? Edit: I have no real beef with the wireless dongle - Bluetooth has more variables and a different chip though
my current mouse is the model O wired but I wanted to find a wireless version is VXE dragonfly R1 a good upgrade?
I think most mice would be lateral as far as “upgrade” it’s more about the shape and feel for whatever works best for you. We’ve gotten to the point where a lot of hardware is on par with one-another or is all being mass manufactured by the same people (Pixart). My suggestion would be to check out Eloshapes.com and see what shape you might like the most
2:25 That combo with the mouse looks amazing lol
Yeah, I agree! I wish the Lofree had a better sensor though :(
100$ and budget doesn't go together no
$100 is a budget price category for mechanical keyboards. There is also an "ultra budget" tier. Don't mix these up
For what these keyboards offer, it is. There are cheaper alternatives for sure, but they're often not lubed, more noisy materials and builds, poor QC, etc. There are also comparable keyboards of "name brands" that cost close to double for no real benefit added.
Hiii
You should try find the best ultra budget mouse kinda like how u found the best budget mouse
Heyy
I have a few more budget series stuff coming up. I’ve been spending the last couple weeks redoing my studio to make efficiency better and pipeline content easier. Hopefully we’ll be hitting one video a week
DO NOT order anything off the actually website of ATK gaming, I paid for faster delivery (1-2 days) and it’s still gonna take a week, and I sent email + contacting the support from the website itself and none of them even reply. Terrible support system
Saw everyone glazing you in the comments so i thought it was AI but your vids are legit great, thank you! Im interested in the hall effect keyboard world after i saw the attack shark x65 pro he kickstarter, could you review that or other wooting alternatives?
I actually have the x65 pro queued up for review. I should have something out about it soon. The Pulsar PCMK 2 is also a solid Wooting alternative choice. It’s a little less expensive. Review on that soon too
@TheRageAcademy Perfect, thank you so much!
Can you please make a video of the FIFINE AM8 WITH EFFECTS • Denoise • Parametric EQ • Hard Limiter, how to do it ? I think will be so much appreciate it 🙏🏾❤️
I’ll get to work on a short for it :) There’s a short tutorial in my discord for OBS with that setup though
@ ok thanks so much 🙏🏾
Why doesnt the pro/max come with bluetooth
@@Tamo_RL probably it’s the regular 3395 vs the se version
Are you doing a giveaway soon
Next is in February. Details will be in discord soon. It's to celebrate hitting 6,969
@ don’t do those numbers lol
@@venom9655 too late, it’s happening 😈
Keychron Q3 HE close?
what do you think about attack shark x6 no one talking about it
Tbh I haven’t tried it yet but the little charging hub things are dumb. The industry tried that back in 2011/2012 and it died out because of how back it worked
Nice Attack Shark X65 Pro there. How is the keyboard? I have pledge in on KS thats ending soon. Will go great my portable set up lol. Hopefully it ships this month.
So far it isn't bad. My only real criticism (so far) is that it has a steel top plate. I haven't had a chance to really daily drive it but I took it apart and it looked solid under the hood (for the price). I should have a review out in a month or so!
@@TheRageAcademy Interesting thought it was plastic from promos. Nice to hear its a solid build. For the price its definately looking good for value. I have some Gateron Jades to swap out if th stocke switches are meh. Looking forward to your review, cheers!
For the price, the specs are pretty bad. Nevertheless I was willing to get over that until you mentioned the clicks. I really expected switches and it was the only thing that made it interesting
@@itsalecsteica5243 yeah, that’s why originally got it too. I thought it was so goofy and weird. It’s a shame that it’s real mouse switches. Someone on my discord linked a mouse with real keyboard switches. That one looked cool
I checked the link in description for the mouse and im not sure if its available to buy in the uk on that site, simce its only in dollars, is there anywhere i can get it in the uk?
Probably Aliexpress is your best bet
@TheRageAcademy im not too sure because i cant tell whether i can trust all sellers on aliexpress
Word of advice for anyone buying the r1 idk if it's my batch in particular but the switch for turning the mouse on is flimsy af Be careful turning it on and off My mouse sometimes turns off randomly when I do flicks Annoying as hell
