As much as I think Lucinda is an incredible horse person and instructor, I really think Emily's positivity is amazing for not only your riding, but your confidence too which is exactly what you (or anyone else) needs before Badders! 🙌🏼 Wish I was based over that way as I'd love a lesson with her.
This is incredible! The difference in Jam when you move her forward instead of holding her back is amazing!! Forward is your answer....her confidence grew alongside yours. Good luck for Badders!!!!! ❤️
This is a throwback to the jump school with Simon, but it really looks like you have a much straighter horse (and a much straighter line) - Jam's shoulders are staying square in front of you rather than dropping one way or the other, in the corners but also as you come into your approaches, and it is giving you some really, really lovely take-offs. That doesn't happen overnight, it's the result of doing your homework over and over and it has clearly paid off. Being straight more consistently, and embracing your engine and riding forward, makes for an absolute joy to watch. Rooting for you. 💕
This was so lovely to watch. Epic performance by horse & rider. Emily is so down to earth & knowledgeable. I did notice that when Emily said "sit up", you did & Jam responded - ears pricked & focused. Jam is incredibly responsive. Very best wishes Meg - you have both worked so hard. You are both winners already❤

What a brilliant teacher, Emily is. I never got to jump cross country myself, so I've found some of the lessons you've video with other instructors a bit difficult to understand. Emily explained everything so simply and clear. Jam is looking so good that you and her are going to smash Badminton ❤
