Jeep made these a PITA to tow. I have the harness that plugs into the LED taillights and then into the 7 way connector the cable from the RV plugs into but I still need this? Would have been much easier to do just this. I also have a battery minder connected too so maybe I can skip this.

To be fair Jeep doesn't build their vehicles with flat towing in mind. Also in comparing to many other vehicles from a wiring standpoint as well as towing standpoint Jeep is still very easy.
Some vehicles need to be started every 500 mile and ran, some have to remove driveshafts etc.. We're still lucky.
If you have a tender, you might not need this, but it will definitely help in letting the tender do it's job better.

If I install the Towed Battery Charger do I still need the CoolTech Battery Drain Fix or can I just do the Battery Charger? Thanks, Tom

If you have led lights or can't hurt. Also depends what brake system you have. Honestly, you likely don't 'need' it with a charger, but it can't hurt.
