@Not Drunk James i play expert only cause easy games are not challenging, this guide ist just a fast and fun playthrough tutorial and he can only wear 6 accessories. I like to go for ninja gear or the ankh shield, but what i use depends on debuffs im going to face or if i need mobility.
Would be great to have the series remastered ( especially with the new don't starve crossover ) Expert mode would be a great way to start as enemies are not too strong and u get extra accessories that can help you a lot ( +1 Accessory slot )
I tried the "crafting wooden bow until you get demonic or deadly" trick and ended up crafting a whole INVENTORY of wooden bows WITHOUT ONE SINGLE DEMONIC OR DEADLY BOW
I killed the wall 30 times just to get one sorcerer emblem. It never dropped and I traded a ranger emblem and help with expert wall of flesh for a sorcerer emblem. Not my proudest moment but I was going to be stuck without a sorcerer emblem forever. Ended up getting a demon heart too. The terraria group I'm in is so chaotic but so helpful
Any way you'd be able to make an updated version of these OP videos? Since 1.4, the Reaver Shark isn't really as good anymore, so it can't take you as far as before.
if ur struggling at that point, make the corruption/crimson pick and make a hellstone pick, you can make a biome pick after you beat the boss of that biome

i'm maybe late but... you should probably use the frost armor instead of titanium/adamantite it has more armor (by 1 point lol) but the best part is that all ranged attacks inflict frostburn that deals 10 damage per burn. trust me, it's powerful af

The only thing I’d probably change is adding the minishark to the pre boss and pre WOF stages since it’s basically a more reliable less damage Star Cannon due to using bullets
So, in normal ranger playthroughs, you kill the moon lord in seconds, kill duke fishron before any mech boss, and have the best modifiers on EVERYTHING?
Tips (expert): the witch's broom is viable at dodging the phantasmal death ray, and is obtained post plant. It has the same speed as cosmic car keys and works underwater (unlike cosmic car keys)

During pre wall of flesh you forgot to get the Phoenix blaster. It is a mix of hellstone bars and a handgun from the dungeon. It is good for early hardmode too

Your pre-golem build could easily be even stronger by grinding the pirate invasion a few times. Selling enough furniture and claiming enough platinum coins and earning yourself a coin gun would turn you into an unstoppable beast. In the case that you missed the coin gun, using platinum coins as ammo it has 200 base damage and a ut of 8. If you're looking for your next overpowered build it depends on whether you want a tanky melee build that can't be toppled, a challenging but deadly build like summoner, or something truly overpowered in the form of the mage. Dare I mention the Last Prism.

Tip: As of the 1.4 Update the Dryad sells the opposite of your world evil type if your world is in Hardmode and the Dryad is in a Graveyard biome, For Example: If your world is a Crimson world and you are in Hardmode and put the Dryad in the graveyard biome you will get Corruption seeds, And if your world is Corruption and your in Hardmode and you put her in graveyard biome you will get Crimson seeds. Use the Crimson seeds (If your world is Corruption) underground (I think you have to put grass blocks in there to put the seeds but I'm not sure tho) and it will spread, and there you have it, A Crimson biome in a Corruption world. EZZZZZZZZZ ICHOR

you should probably use the frost armor instead of titanium/adamantite
it has more armor (by 1 point lol) but the best part is that all ranged attacks inflict frostburn that deals 10 damage per burn.
trust me, it's powerful af

The only thing I’d probably change is adding the minishark to the pre boss and pre WOF stages since it’s basically a more reliable less damage Star Cannon due to using bullets

During pre wall of flesh you forgot to get the Phoenix blaster. It is a mix of hellstone bars and a handgun from the dungeon. It is good for early hardmode too
Star cannon is better if you feel like going insane for several hours grinding the ammo necessary.

Your pre-golem build could easily be even stronger by grinding the pirate invasion a few times. Selling enough furniture and claiming enough platinum coins and earning yourself a coin gun would turn you into an unstoppable beast. In the case that you missed the coin gun, using platinum coins as ammo it has 200 base damage and a ut of 8.
If you're looking for your next overpowered build it depends on whether you want a tanky melee build that can't be toppled, a challenging but deadly build like summoner, or something truly overpowered in the form of the mage. Dare I mention the Last Prism.

2 extra defense is not a big deal. no bosses actually inflict the debuffs the ankh shield protects aginst in normal mode, so it's not worth farming.

Tip: As of the 1.4 Update the Dryad sells the opposite of your world evil type if your world is in Hardmode and the Dryad is in a Graveyard biome, For Example: If your world is a Crimson world and you are in Hardmode and put the Dryad in the graveyard biome you will get Corruption seeds, And if your world is Corruption and your in Hardmode and you put her in graveyard biome you will get Crimson seeds. Use the Crimson seeds (If your world is Corruption) underground (I think you have to put grass blocks in there to put the seeds but I'm not sure tho) and it will spread, and there you have it, A Crimson biome in a Corruption world. EZZZZZZZZZ ICHOR

Godly is for yoyo, flails, & some magic weapons
Unreal is for every ranged weapons
Mythical is for most magic weapons and
Ruthless for every summoning weapon (some sentries can get mythical modifiers too)
Sometimes the best modifiers are different like for Last Prism is Deadly or Demonic
