Fun fact: you can actually place a lot of Sunflowers (~20-30) to nullify the effects of Corruption/Crimson on NPC housing. I used this for early Hardmode when I didn't have the resources to clear up the strip of Corruption after the WoF battle.
This was really handy for tricking my painter to move to corrupted biomes for the painting requirements in fargos, thank you, I was worried id have to find a king statue or run wire.
This was something I remember trying back in the 1.3 days, when NPCs were less strong. Needless to say, they didn't get very far... Hope your summer was great Happy!

The bunny actually is available Pre-Boss! I have a world where I am taking Pre-Boss progression to its limit, and I am currently at 43% with about 20 additional entries I know are available that I have yet to get (mainly holiday slimes and zombies) that will take it to 47%! As well, the Mystic Slime is available pre-boss!! The purification powder required can be shimmered from vile/vicious powder!!
This is incredible! I didn’t realize you could do so much and I definitely want to try add some of these into my next play through. Since I started watching you, I started building farms, biome spheres and really increasing the livelihood of my world. I’m planning on going into a ranger play through after this and you know that NPCs will be a big part of it. You are by far the best creator here in my opinion! 🙃🍪
I have no idea if you will ever read this, Happy, but I just want to let you know how you had a profoundly positive impact on my life. I haven't watched much of your content in the past few years, but I used to watch every video you released. I still remember the whole situation with Lorenzo the Painter. This would have been back when I was in 6th grade, and I'm in university now! Back in 6th grade, I was a terribly awkward and nerdy 11 year old, and I vividly remember my English class that year. We were doing an activity where we would form clusters based on our answers to various icebreaker questions. One of said questions was "What is your favorite type of cookie?" Me being the awkward young lad that I was made my own group with the answer "HD cookie," in reference to your channel. The teacher was confused but later that day in class, one person asked me if I was talking about HappyDays, the Terraria TH-camr. I told them "Yes!" and we bonded over your videos. Over 7 years later and he is my best friend to this day. So, I just wanted to say thank you, Happy, for helping me meet my best friend (even if it was by total accident), and I'm so glad that your channel was part of my life!
This was a very unique, interesting and fun challenge to see you do. It's even crazier this was in vanilla terraria because i thought you would use mods but it was completely vanilla. This was fun to watch and i hope to see more from you soon, also please do the op rouge class from calamity.
Kudos to Happy doing this challenge, since on every boss fight you have to literaly transfer ALL of those NPCs and that actually time consuming as well but he still manage to pulled it of 😅
I really liked watching you when I was younger, I would play terraria while watching or draw fanart! But unfortunately I accidentally corrupted my terraria world file (lol) and it made me not as happy playing it anymore, but I still really like watching your videos! thanks for everything Happy! 💜

Never in my life did I EVER think that it would be possible to beat Terraria with just NPCs!! Not only that, but using statues for the Moon Lord fight was pure genius!! This was such an amazing video Happy!!

I am almost done with a rouge class for calamity and I must say it becomes really strong in the end game with over 300 defense if you do the accessories right.

So, the beastiary cares about more then just encountering an enemy, it also cares about how many of that enemy were killed (With the exception of NPC’s, Bosses, and one or two boss summons), so in theory, if you grinded out every pre-boss enemy to the max and interacted with every NPC, you MIGHT be able to get the town rabbit, but that is a massive might
I think eighter the rogue class from calamity or an updated version of the melee class video would be great because the rogue class is realy cool and the melee video is pretty outdated, still having the old nights edge.

Hi solarcal! Wow thanks for re-watching some of my videos, I try to make them nice to re-watch sometimes (I have some fav videos on YT I like to rewatch too!) 🍪
I like to do all I can pre-hardmode so I can guarantee the bunny is possible pre-hardmode but it definitely takes a lot of patience, especially for rare critters like the desert ones, all the gem squirrels and bunnies, maggots and rats that you need a graveyard for, and using statues to get some normally hardmode enemies to spawn early.
Also, as killing bosses powers NPC's up, if you beat Queen Bee during your trial run instead of letting it kill you, it would technically invalidate the challenge. Although I don't see the Witch Doctor then, so idk if you killed it or let it kill you then.
The Dye Trader is actually a pretty good bodyguard, he strikes fast enough with enough knockback to basically never get hit by most early game enemies.
*Sees spider cave Everyone else: (screams, panics runs around like crazy then save and quits) Happy: 'Ooh what a perfect opportunity to recruit a hairdresser!'

I think It would make most sense to do either rogue, or the other classes in calamity. Whatever you choose though, We're glad your back:)
This is like an anti-summoner run, in which you are the one that's invulnerable but your 'minions' are not
After the 1.4.5 update, he should overpower the classes again. Lots has changed and we need an updated version imo.
