Today we're going to answer that question by playing through Terraria from start to finish and seeing if it's possible to beat Terraria without using a single weapon! The challenge is simple, while playing Terraria we can't use melee, ranged, magic or summon weapons. Can we beat Terraria, a game about combat without using weapons?

On old gen I had hallowed armor, hallowed weapons, the while 9 yards but I couldn't defeat the twins

On mobile I needed to borrow my friends hardmode gear to beat the wall of flesh
Make a box and sit in it with heart statues or statues that spawn small mobs like crabs or slimes that can drop hearts. Have lava kill the mobs for hearts. You can also have honey. I reccomend using Beetle or Solar armor with full warding setup and Ankh + paladin shield for maximum defense. Frozen turtle shell is also good. The best weapon is Solar Flare.
This works for Expert so it should be a breeze for normal.
Is it me or did these bosses look easier to defeat bosses without weapons than with weapons

To beat it without breathing you would need to have two max hp players cut oxygen and then make a spawn point at the start ,summon the boss and kill the second player then attack the boss when you die they are respawning this works I have tested all the way up to moon lord

Not possible due to:
WoF requires guide voodoo doll which only drops by a Voodoo demon, which is a non boss enemy.
Lunatic Cultist requires you to kill the couple cultist which are non boss enemies.
The lunatic pillars are unskippable and you need to destroy the spawned enemies.
etc. etc.
So no, it is impossible.
@@adamxue6096 you could try to get npcs to kill the demon and cultists, and you could shave off 3 pillars with the duck glitch (if it still works)
since pillar enemies are required, maybe they could be put in a special category like a required kill list? idk- i dont really do challenges like these so-

It would have worked it the phrasing wasn't
"Without hurting any non boss enemies"
Which means that, NPC or Traps are NOT allowed for intentional usage on hurting any enemies.
Yeah you can shave off 3 (I think you still can, haven't tested it) but there is one more, which is a problem, those enemies are not boss type enemies.
I guess you could put things in a specific category and that is what are the enemies that you must kill and just scratch them off the normal enemy list.

I had literally just finished watching the op melee video and was thinking “what if you had to use tools to beat the game.” Then I exited fullscreen and this was the first video in the reccomended. Don’t ever trust youtube, it can read your mind

In the jungle temple, I've found that covering the floors of the temple with any material other than Lihzahrd Bricks stops the spawning of Lihzahrd enemies and replaces them with Cavern / Underground Jungle ones :D
