    Adrian, you make it look so easy! When I upgraded the fuel pump on my 2007 Fozzy, getting the assembly out and back in was by far the most difficult part.

      I was really glad that the float did not get messed up. it seemed like it had a lot of pressure on it when installing back into the tank.

    I gotta know your story.. it's so odd to see Rustoleum paint, Craftsman tools, Duralast jack stands and you're in Germany. How did you get there? What do you do? Videos are getting better and better, especially now you're filming hands free. Dude, you totally have me thinking about a Forester now! I have a Bugeye WRX, my wife has a Baja turbo, and my son has an 03 Forester.

      Hi Peter. Thanks for watching man. I appreciate it! My wife is a musician working over here. I was at first a student but now I am a full-time dad. My first subi was a bug-eye WRX. Loved that car!

    Did you notice any differences between the stock and aem fuel pump? Acceleration or throttle response? Just anything? Thinking of upgrading my forester xt JDM fuel pump?

      You will not notice anything different by upgrading a fuel pump. The only reason to do so is to supplement the added power. Meaning if you’re upgrading the turbo or getting it tuned chasing more horsepower it may be beneficial to upgrade the fuel pump. The size of the pump would be determined on the desired HP rating.

      What’s the pump you got? Details so I can get the same one please? Don’t wanna get the wrong one and it’s not for mine.

      @@milzdox7757 it’s an AEM 340 lpm fuel pump. It is more than sufficient for the power I have. I have 402 at the crank and 350 to the wheels. I also have the injector dynamics fuel system (1050 cc injectors, top feed fuel rails, and fuel lines.)

    Adrian, Make sure you use special in the tank fuel line if you replace the fuel line.

      Thanks for the heads up bro. I was able to reuse the fuel line that was on it. There was a walbro 255 kit in there but I did not know that when I bought it.

    For how much Horsepower is that Fuel Pump recommended?

    • @AdrianBilladeau
      @AdrianBilladeau  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a difficult question to answer. There are a lot of variables (Fuel lines, Fuel set up, Naturally Aspirated, Forced induction, etc.) for getting a specific Horsepower rating. From what I have read and understand, again depending on your set up, the AEM 340 can support up to 1,000 HP.

    Hey mate did you do the wiring bit?

    • @AdrianBilladeau
      @AdrianBilladeau  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @AdamBicanic for me there was nothing to wire in. It was simply a plug and play for me.
