Thanks Todd!
is that fuse the same for radio, side mirrors and lighter? my 04 corolla has all 3 not working at the same time, I had my mechanic installed a rebuilt transmission so I am thinking he had to disconnect the battery and probably had a short somewhere. thanks
This was very helpful, my windows and radio wasn't working at all and I had to change the fuse with the extra fuse I had and all started working
Thanks for watching! I'm glad it helped!
Didn't know the fuse was named differently for the stereo and that it controlled the one for 12v socket clock and the stereo
My radio works again! I suspected a fuse as my phone charger that plugs into cig lighter started to smoke. Thanks for the vid.
What fuse number did you use
@@jaylenjoseph117 I used the same one as used in the video. I believe it's the 15A. It's placed exactly like in the vid.
Thanks for the video. I followed your instructions and was able to change this very fuse on my 2008 Corolla. Pulling the fuse itself out is definitely tricky, but I got it done.
Thanks for watching, I'm glad the video helped and you got the fuse replaced!
Intro tune is sweet
Could a wrong crossover setting be causing a parasitic drain in my 2005 Corolla? I was messing with my stereo setting and I remember seeing “crossover” and I had no idea what that was. The last thing I remember was leaving it at 100 something HZ and the next morning my battery was dead. I was able to jump it and start driving.
2004 Corolla here. Cig lighter works but no radio and clock. What do I do? Edit: there is another 15amp fuse in the fuse box next to the battery. This one fixed my radio and clock.
2008 corolla. Checked all the fuses and theyre all green, still no power to radio
my fuse WAS blown, but it's still not working 😭 i did the dome light and the other one connected to audio and none of them have solved it. really hoped it would have been an easy fix
Currently in the same boat, did you have any luck solving it?
It controls power mirrors too, however my radio did come back on
My cigarette lighter stopped working few months ago checked fuses all good then yesterday after a hard freeze I started the car and noticed my original toyota radio now is not working on my 2005 corolla checked the radio fuse all good put a new one in just to be sure and still nothing, I even just went through every fuse under the engine and under the glove box and all perfect so I'm not sure what's wrong, before I go taking the radio unit out do thr factory toyota radios have a fuse at the back of them like other car stereos????
No there’s no fuse on stock radios
Pulled the fuse out of the back wasn't blown put it back together now radio works.
I’m on the very beginning steps of doing this I checked the fuse box to see if I had replacement I did so i went under the steering wheel took off the cover and looked to see which fuse it was I figured it out then I realized I didn’t have a wrench to disconnect the battery so I went to start my car to get one and it won’t start now I thought maybe it’s because the cases are off so I put them both back on it still won’t start I haven’t even disconnected the battery yet just checked to see if I had the stuff I needed to replace the fuse
Its under the hood? Im 73 yrs, my hood is the problem. Thank you
I replaced the fuse on mine but the radio still isn't working. turned the radio on and its showing the volume and the stations when you mess with it, its just not producing any sound.
Hi Peter, thanks for watching, are you getting static or anything? Does your clock work?
@@ToddsGarage No static unfortunately...but the clock works
That sucks, just on radio? Or no sound on cd's either? If no sound on anything most likely a wiring or speaker issue. Hope you get it fixed!
@@ToddsGarage havent tried the CDs...but I plugged in a bluetooth transmitter on the cigarette lighter and it works...might have to just have a specialist check on it
@@peterparker3035 very strange hope you get it fixed! Thanks again for watching and I like your avatar!
What if the cigarette lighter works but clock and radio doesn’t? I tried replacing the fuse but it did not work.
Hi Sam thanks for watching. I am not sure on that, it could be a wiring issue as well unfortunately. Sorry I cant be of more help. Thanks again for watching and good luck.
I have the same problem. What was wrong?
Im looking at it from the same spot but why didnt you show how you pulled the fuse out
Thanks for watching, hopefully you were able to get it?
To change blown fuse we need gloves & goggles😂?
No wonder I couldn't find it

2008 my radio still not turn on the fuse is ok
I'm not watching anyone that feels the need to put gloves and goggles on to disconnect a battery ffs
I didn't do that part but the video did help!
